One of the best tours of our holiday. Trish started with a walking tour of the Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre with lots of history and information. Happy to take photos of us at any of the places. Then we set of in her car for a tour around Hollywood again with lots of interesting facts and stories. First stop was for breakfast at a lovely diner called Grub. Delicious food and service. Next a quick stop for pizza at Mozza.. Garlic pizza like i have never had before. Queue was round the block but no problem as Trish collected ours from the kitchen door! Then off to Greenblatts Deli & Wine shop. Wonderful pastrami sandwiches homemade coleslaw. The deli counter is a treat for the eyes. Next a etreat indeed. John Kelly Chocolates.. The actual shop and factory where the chocolates are made. We got to see the process of the handmade chocolates being made and taste the amazing flavours. Semi-sweet chocolate & Thai coconut curry with curry sea salt. Tasted just like its name definitely my favourite. Finally a visit to Mashti Malones old fashioned ice cream parlour. Just like all the others a family business that we would never have found without doing this trip. Again different flavours to the normal this time the winner for me was Rosewater sorbet with rice noodles! Dont judge until you try!. It was then a brief drive back through Hollywood with some more stories and sights. I cant recommend this trip enough. It is well worth it and Trish is a very warm and friendly person who is well known and trusted by the businesses. Excellent.

As a resident of LA County I like learning more about where I live. This tour fit the bill! Chris, our tour guide, walked us all around DTLA, telling us about various buildings, famous residents, historical tidbits, and various and assorted information about lots of things we came across. Made me realize how much I didn't know about my own city! He had a fairly encyclopedic knowledge of things we asked about that weren't even on the tour! We really enjoyed our walk and plan to do another one from this company sometime in the future.
