Our guide Vince did an absolutely amazing job of making this an exceptionally fun tour. From the best Hollywood Sign photo-op to inside info on places and buildings across LA, Vince added insight, movie clips, and the occasional soundtrack to make it a fun, informative, one-of-a-kind experience NOT to be missed!!
This is not your usual scripted tour. In contrast, it is customized and peppered with discussions about Los Angeles culture and history. By the end of this tour, you will have all the "Must Have" LA pictures, make friends with LA locals, and have a very big smile on your face!
During the trip, you will have 3-4 actual stops at the most iconic locations throughout the city, and get the best photo opportunities as well as the stories behind the places by your own local tour guide.
We will cruise through the mountains for the BEST outlook points like Mulholland Dr, make a stop at the HOLLYWOOD SIGN (SUPER CLOSE), and jump out at famous Palm Trees' Street . Also, we will enter the American Film Academy, where hundreds of blockbusters (X-Men, Batman, SpiderMan, Rush Hour...) were shot and explore the hidden gems of Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Dr, AND MORE...
Perfect for solo, couples, families, or groups of up to 7people.

Nice tour for who has short time to visit the city. The distances are quite long so the majority of the time is spent in the car. I would suggest to the agency to delete from the list Bel Air and Venice beach as we didn’t get the chance to drop off, and increase the time spent in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills.
See the best of Los Angeles on a half-day tour of the city’s most glamorous neighborhoods and iconic landmarks. Cruise the renowned Sunset Strip before hitting the Pacific Coast Highway to sink your toes into L.A.’s most beloved beaches.
I took the 4 hours tour of major attractions in LA. Our tour guide was Carlos and he was phenomenal. He downloaded his years of LA knowledge and expertise into me throughout the tour. He showed us celebrity homes, talked about behind the scenes and stopped at the right spots for pictures. I highly recommend this tour. It's the highlight of my visit to LA.
The tour exceeded my expectations! Paul, our guide was incredible as he made the tour interesting by sharing personal stories combined with interesting facts. He was able to keep our attention for 4.5, hours due to his captivating personality coupled with his sense of humor. I would recommend this anyone visiting L.A.!
Bing was a great tour guide. It was nice to have someone that has lived in the area for 40 ears and has first hand experience of everything going on in all the different areas. It seemed like she knew something of interest from every corner we passed. I would love to go on another tour with her. I wish there was a way to pick our driver for the tours because I would definitely pick Bing!

GREAT DAY OUT, GREAT WAY TO SEE ALL THE SITES IN ONE TRIP
, Aug 2019
We had a great day out. Our driver, Garret, was great fun, very informative and he gave us very clear details of pick ups during the tour. We got to see all the sites without any hassles and the "open-air" feeling was exactly what we wanted. Great, relaxing day out, thanks for making it easy. Jan & Peter King, Perth Western Australia

Good tour for those with long layovers for flights coming off a cruise
, Feb 2020
Anthony was the owner and tour guide for the company West Hollywood tours. He picked us up at the San Pedro cruise terminal and took us through much of LA. Went to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Griffith Park, the Chinese Theater and the Stars Walk of Fame. Most of the tour was by vehicle. We had a few photo stops for pictures. We enjoyed the tour and Anthony was very knowledgeable about the area. At the end he dropped us off at LAX airport. We enjoyed the tour, but would have preferred to have a few more stops to get out and look around and for taking pictures. Many of the stars' mansions and homes were really not very visible from the car, but we got a general feel for LA. We were unable to get to any of the beaches/piers due to time restrictions caused by our pickup at the cruise terminal. Overall we enjoyed it and Anthony was very nice.
Simply AMAZING! The highlight of our trip and worth every penny. Tony was our driver and the previous reviews are completely true- he is AWESOME! So friendly, so informative and wonderfully accommodating. This was our family’s first trip to LA (2 adults/2 kids ages 17 &5) and he took us to all of the sites we wanted/should see and we never felt rushed. He gave us time to soak it all in and even took pictures for us. The car was immaculate and comfortable, too, with plenty of bottled waters and creature comforts. If you’re looking for the best way to enjoy your trip to LA, definitely book this tour. I can’t imagine making this trip without it!
WOW! This was a fabulous tour travelling to many top spots including Venice Beach, Hollywood homes of the rich and famous, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, best spot for a pic of the Hollywood sign and the beautiful observatory within the parklands. I sincerely apologise to my driver (I keep thinking Anthony(?)) but my memory is a little fuzzy. Anyway, he was FABULOUS!

LA Afternoon Tour With Hollywood Sign and Star Homes
, Oct 2019
Dave was amazing kept the group entertained the whole tour. Had music, played games, seen all the sights. Well worth your time to see. Thanks Dave for a great start to our vacation. Robin & Mike from Reno
We booked this tour at the last minute and must say we lucked out! It was exactly what we were looking for - a quick intro to the main spots around the city, with a focus on Hollywood. Bing was very knowledgeable and the celebrity home tour with her was clearly the standout of the tour.
Take a star-studded sightseeing trip through Los Angeles during this afternoon excursion. Discover the rich history of downtown Los Angeles and unique cultural amenities like the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall. Rub shoulders with the stars during a visit to Hollywood, stopping by the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Get stunning views of the city from Griffith Observatory, including a great view of the famous Hollywood sign. A guide and round-trip hotel transport are also covered.
Mark was an excellent tour guide! We were a small group, so it was more personalized, which was great! We did a tour the day before this one, for 7hrs, and we didn't get half the information and history that Mark provided. He took photos of us in iconic places, pointed out the good and the bad around the city and added his own personal flavor which just made the tour that more enjoyable! I wasn't sure what to expect when I read that the tour had a flat screen TV in the car. It only added to what we saw outside the vehicle, it didn't take anything away from the tour. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour, especially for first time visitors to the LA area.

See when Los Angeles really ‘comes out to shine’ during this after-dark sightseeing tour. Experience the neon-lit atmosphere of famous Tinseltown sights including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Griffith Park Observatory, the Sunset Strip, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and much more.
We stopped at a lot of places to take in the sites of LA. But, we should have had more time to stay and and explore at the sites. Every stop was pushed for time. Needed more time at the Farmers Market. I would have liked to walk down Holloywood Blvd and took a picture in front of the Beverly Hills sign.
The tour was on schedule the entire time. The tour guide and driver were exceptional. The bus and the drive were smooth even in the L.A. traffic. The tour could have spent a little longer on the walk of fame and at rodeo drive. We felt this was a little rushed and didn’t get to see much there. Otherwise overall great.

We booked this trip at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the staff. The van was modern and comfortable and Chelsey was a great driver and guide, talking about the sights with enthusiasm and humour. She looked after us really well and we had ample time to get out and see a few sights ‘up close’. Would recommend this trip for an all round introduction to Hollywood and Beverley Hills.
Our Driver Vincent was an exceptional tour guide, very polite friendly and very knowledgeable, however the vehicle he was provided was old and not up to the private tour standards. Also he could have been a little better dressed. Thank you, otherwise we had a fantastic time . We use viator whenever we go as a family and have been pleased with the services.
Great service and flexibility from the moment of pick-up till last special "bonus" places visited and drop off. We visited all sights with open window van and heard interesting stories about them, with llots of details. All questions were answered both about history of LA and local life style. We twisted our tour a bit towards food-experience and we were surprised how good guides knew all spots and places in LA with the best foods. I would recommend the comany for those who want to have something else than a regular tourist tour/ rpute. Expectations were high but they were all more than met.

Hollywood Sign, Beverly Hills And Movie Locations Vip Adventure
Well recommended trip
, Nov 2019
We booked this trip before we went to Hollywood and were not sorry as it was a fantastic three hours. Our driver was Frank who was really knowledgeable about the area and took us to some great places and was talking to us all the time about the areas which made it really interesting. Well worth booking
We couldn't have planned for a better tour if we tried. Frankie our tour guide was equal parts Hollywood historian, comedian and storyteller. We opted for a small half day tour instead of a full day tour and this one brought us up close to the Hollywood Sign, through and around the legendary lure of Mulholland Drive and Hollywood Hills and down Sunset Strip. Along the way we heard great tales and passed the multimillion dollar estates of several Hollywood stars. You won't be disappointed with this tour!!

Along the way, take a stroll in Greystone Mansion and Park—a famous location featured in numerous blockbuster movies.
I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company. Very personal and professional. You can tell that the tour guide LOVED Los Angeles and his excitement was contagious. He even honored a tour that was booked by mistake, he strives for GREAT costumer service!

When they say private they literally mean private as it was just me and guide driving around L.A in his Mitsubishi for three hours. Paul was a good guy. I guess I just expected a little more structured tour and 3 hours alone with stranger is a different type of experience.

We made a mistake and thought we had booked for Tuesday . I feel terrible - we did not go last night. It was an error .
Can we reschedule for Tuesday - tomorrow ? I apologize for confusion
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient. It was a very interesting tour. The only note is be careful when you book as some high frequency times like the holidays may cause a lot of traffic and delays getting up to the Observatory.
Griffith Observatory is a landmark that even locals don’t know enough about. Called “the hood ornament of Los Angeles,” it serves as a public observatory, planetarium, and exhibition space. Designed by some of its former employees, this tour will give you an introduction to the city that you’ll never forget. When Griffith J. Griffith first viewed the moon from a telescope he exclaimed, "If all mankind could look through that telescope, it would change the world!" For the remainder of his life, he toiled to realize his vision for a public observatory that would benefit future generations. Now, the Griffith Observatory is the most popular attraction of its kind in the world. Join us as we discover not just an L.A. landmark, but a place where you’ll have the chance to make memories. As fellow travelers, astronomers, and Angelenos, we at LA Tour1 will help you make the most of your time at Griffith Observatory.
