Kid D was an excellent tour guide. He helped us get to scenic spots quickly on top of mountain, handled train seating perfectly and was very personable. The tour was very timely and it allowed picture and eating time. I would highly recommend this tour.
Travel to Jungfraujoch — Europe's highest railway station at a dizzying height of 11,333 feet (3,454 meters) — on this full day trip from Lucerne. A scenic coach drive via the Bernese Oberland delivers you to Lauterbrunnen for a cogwheel train ride. You’ll wind through the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass below the foot of the Eiger North Face. At the Top of Europe, explore the glaciated Ice Palace and enjoy World Heritage–listed views of the soaring Swiss Alps and Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observatory.
Edwardo, our guide to Jungfraujoch, was superb. Lots of knowledge, friendly and easy to understand. He handled the large group speaking several languages with ease. But the Jungfraujoch was truly the star of the trip. We had a perfect day, clear blue skies, temperatures in the 1-3C range and a light breeze. For a mid-October day, we could not have wished for more, the views were stunning. Left us overwhelmed. The walk to the snow side was fun as was the Ice Palace walk. The only suggestion is to announce that people can sit anywhere they want on coach on the return trip. Because we got the bus in Lucerne, we rode in the top of the double-decker bus but on the way back found seats on the lower level, easier on our old bodies. But this upset one couple who expected the same seats.
Ascend to Europe’s highest point on an exhilarating full-day excursion to the Swiss Alps from Lucerne. With a professional guide, travel by luxury coach through the spectacular scenery of the Bernese Oberland region and board a cogwheel train at Interlaken. Ascend the UNESCO-listed Jungfraujoch mountain pass and absorb sweeping mountain vistas on arrival at the ‘Top of Europe’. Explore the frozen witchery of an Ice Palace at the summit and marvel at incredible panoramas of the alpine wonderland from the Sphinx Observatory.
A lovely tour. We went up by cable, and spent about 2-3 hours at the top and walked to the highest point. Beutiful views everywhere, then went to the restaurant for some nice Swiss wine. then we took the worlds steepest train to the bottom near the wharf. Then we went on boat tour of Lake Luzerne and were dropped off close to the tran station. It was a lovely day and we took a lot of photos. Highly recommendable
The trip started a bit rough. There was a guide at the meeting location but she was not our guide. She said we would be with another guide, but she couldn't answer when the other guide and bus might show up. It ended up we were joining a bilingual tour on a bus that was coming from Zurich. This tour is what I would call "semi-guided".

All went well right from the pic up...except the wind (which is not in anybody control).
Since, this is December, expect high winds and no access to Chair lift and Cliff walk.
Our guide Mr. Pedro was really good and helpful.

We signed up for this tour to see the sights around Lucerne. We were not disappointed! Our guide, Jagna, was right on time and guided us through a boat tour, cog railway up the mountain, and cable car ride down. All the time she shared a wealth of information about the area and life in Switzerland in a friendly and engaging way. She was flexible and accommodating in giving us free time on our own to explore. We would definitely book this tour again and would recommend it to others.

Our group had a very unforgettable memories in Mt. Pilatus! It was a breathtaking view! We wish someday we could ride the Conway train. Luzerne is a very beautiful city! This is a very recommended
We took the paved trail that starts beyond the Kulm Hotel. After a little while, we looked up the mountain and saw 2 Alpine Ibex sitting in the grass. A bit further, 5 more; then 5 more, all walking on the steep rock faces. in all we saw about 25 that day. It was cloudy and chilly, but a great day for Ibex! Cog Railway was fantastic too. Worthwhile visit.

Good views, but audio tour and booking were frustrating.
, Dec 2019
The pros were that the company was flexible on timing - we missed our scheduled time, and they said we could simply come on the next trip scheduled that day. It was a different and more relaxing way to see Lucerne than walking, of which we'd already done a lot.
The cons were that the day was cloudy, so the views were not as good (but I still felt it was worth it), and the audio tour, which was a bit corny if informative, did not ever match with the scenery so it was difficult to know what you should be looking at.
The other con was paying for the trip. Everyone in our group had a Swiss Travel pass, which should have made this cruise completely free, but there was no place to fill the Travel Pass info in when booking online, so I ended up calling Viator to try and explain the situation. They had no idea if it was covered by the Swiss Travel Pass, and asked me to take screenshots of where I saw online that this cruise would be covered and then email it to them. I was booking it the day before, so I took the screen shots, sent them to Viator, and asked them to respond as quickly as possible so I knew we had tickets for the next day. I didn't hear anything, so I ended up paying full price so we could go on the boat the following day. Even now, it's been nearly a week and I still haven't heard anything back from Viator about whether this should have been covered by the Swiss Travel Pass. I found it frustrating that a travel company is not aware of something that is quite common when traveling in Switzerland, and that their response to my inquiry has been very slow.

Golden Round Trip with Lake Cruise to Mt Pilatus from Lucerne Self-Guided Tour
Golden Round Trip
, Nov 2019
The actual trip was awesome. The boat cruise, cog wheel train and cable car were all unbelievable. The only hiccup was getting an email from Viator at 4:30 PM the day before, telling us we could not pick up our tickets at the ferry dock and that we had a 3 mile walk or bus ride to pick them up. This was WRONG. The paper work provided by Viator on line was all we needed.
Great self-paced tour, redemption point too far away
, Oct 2019
This tour is amazing and you can go at your own pace, stopping and spending time where you please. Breathtaking views, fun activities, food, etc. All exceptional.
The redemption point for the ticket however, is a 15 minute drive from where the tour departs (or a 55 minute walk). We came in the night before and were unable to get there before we were supposed to depart. It would be nice if there was a more central location in Lucerne to redeem the voucher or at an office that stays open past 5. The tour operators were good about letting us go anyway, but it would have been nice to just take care of it ourselves.
