This tour was worth the money. We had an excellent tour guide named Husain Al Habib who was attentive and patient and took the time to answer all our questions with clarity and grace. We visited the Al Fateh Mosque and the Bahrain National Museum where we learned more about the culture. At the Museum we saw women working with the gold thread that adorns many of the native Kaftans. We met other women in the gift shop that treated us to dates and Arabic coffee, a custom that greets guests into their homes. We had a chance to talk to this woman about local customers for at least a half hour . Husain made sure we had pictures of both experiences and then Husain took us to the Muharraq Souq where we scooped up some bargains by bargaining with the merchants. Then on to the Bahrain Fort and then a quick stop for photos at Bab el-Bahrain. Through out the tour we were given lessons about the culture by Husain, who also took our pictures and explained the native dress that he wore. I highly recommend this tour and Husain Al Habib as your guide if your lucky enough to get him.

I very much enjoyed this tour, and my tour guide Abdul Aziz and driver Sultan were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The four sites we went to were almost all deserted except for us, which was pretty cool - made me feel like I was getting to see things most tourists don't. The one thing about the tour is I would have liked to spend time at the Fort Bahrain museum, and there was no real time for that as it was closing when we were wrapping up our tour. But otherwise, highly recommended.
