Of course, you’re here for the wine. Wonderful vintages, most famously Malbec, but also beautiful cabernet sauvignons, chardonnays, cerezas, tempranillos and more, are grown at some of the highest altitudes in the world, of 2,640–4,920 feet (800–1,500 meters), where they breath truly rarefied air. The cool temperatures averaging 15°C (58°F) and the spectacular Andean backdrop make it this way.
