Small-Group Half-Day Tour in Mykonos

Great time with our tour guide for this small-group half day tour in Mykonos. We were able to see many places in Mikonos our group was only 5 total. We were taken to a Monastery, different beaches, taste of a local liquor and some food, and a walk through Mikonos narrow streets then a ride back to our Cruise Ship. Thank you, we really enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended. :)

Mykonos Old Town Historic and Cultural Walking Tour

Awesome tour! Gibson is great and very knowledgeable. It was like walking around with a good friend. Really helped orient us to meandering the streets and alleyways — He had great eye for where to take photos, great tips, especially for ways to make the most of the time (we were there at the end of high season) highly recommended!!

Windmills and Veronica had good suggestions on where to eat..She was very upbeat and informative about the island and how to get around in old town which can be very complicated..

A nice way to get your orientation of the island. There is not a ton to see but it was worth it.

Chora Mykonos is a hub of activity on the island and a must on any itinerary.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses; the whitewashed architecture amplifies the already bright Mediterranean sunshine.
Cobblestones, hills, and steps make Chora a challenge for wheelchairs and strollers; make sure to book accessible transportation ahead of your visit.

How to Get There

Most visitors to Mykonos arrive by ferry or cruise ship. It’s a short walk into Chora Mykonos from the old port, but it’s best to take a taxi from the larger and newer port in Tourlos, as the 45-minute walk follows a busy road without a sidewalk.

Chora might be the largest community on Mykonos, but it’s not the only one. Ano Mera, the only inland settlement on the island, is best known for its 16th-century monastery and collection of traditional Greek tavernas. Platys Gialos makes an excellent base for exploring the beaches on the southern shores, while Ornos and Agios Stefanos both offer several hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
