My husband and I take a lot of tours when we travel. Brian was far and away the best guide we've ever had! He really made us fall in love with the island. Because of the experience we had with him, this became our favorite destination we have ever been to. He has so many amazing stories from his 50 years on the island. Do not miss the opportunity to meet him and fall in love with this gorgeous island like we did! This was the highlight of our more than two week trip around Greece and Italy. Thank you so much for an experience we will never forget!
Experience the best of Mykonos during this combination walking and driving trip. Along with a small group, enjoy the scenic drive to Mykonos hotspots like Kalafatis Beach and the charming village of Ano Mera. Then, take a walking tour to explore the white-washed buildings of Mykonos Town.
Mykonos: Semi-Private Sailing Yacht Cruise to Rhenia and Guided Tour of Delos
Great Trip and great crew
, Oct 2019
My wife and I booked this late season trip and it went great. We got lucky the water was amazing and pretty. The food was great and the crew was fantastic. The only thing that could be improved was the time on Delos. It needed to be longer and not as rushed as it was. Overall a great value and I recommend this to anybody.
Dmitry and Mike were very professional and made the cruise very comfortable and entertaining for everyone. It is a little adventurous since you are on a yacht (tilting and bumpiness). We did have a clear day and gentle water so I can see how it could be worse in worse weather.
Pro tips: bring sunscreen and a light waterproof jacket. If you think you’ll be sick then be mentally prepared
Although we could not use to much sail on this day, My wife and I enjoyed this trip very much, On a boat, sun, good food, good company, good crew, swimming, a interesting tour made for a great day! The end of the trip, going back to port was more challenging due to high winds, and rough sea, but crew handled this well. Great job!

My daughter surprised me with a trip to Greece. This cooking class was a definite highlight and I will never forget it. The cooking, conversation, and cultural experience was awesome. Teta was very welcoming, generous, and warm. She gave us great advice for the rest of the trip and shared interesting and informative cultural details. She even accommodated for dietary restrictions. Wonderful, wonderful experience.
My husband and I did this cooking class and had the best time. It felt like we were hanging out with our favorite Aunt. Christiana was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was amazing and her home is beautiful. A must do in Mykonos!!!

Fantastic Day Sailing in Mykonos
, Sep 2019
The Captain and the cook (Paris) were incredible! The catamaran is gorgeous and well taken care of. The crew were concerned with our safety. They definitely had the best lunch with salads, prawns, curried chicken and more. Delicious!

We stopped in Mykonos from a cruise ship for the day, and I am so grateful to have found Matthaios and his tour. He was in frequent contact with me via email so I had no worries how we would meet up when we disembarked. He and his longtime friend Nicholas walked a small personal group around town and told us of the history and stories of the area. We then took a bus to Ano Mera, a small town on the Island where we walked the town and visited a monastery. We then were driven to a beautiful quite beach to walk the sands, swim in the sea, and enjoy a fantastic lunch of meats and breads, home grown vegetables and melon and homemade tzatziki sauce. We enjoyed the trip so much we did not want it to end so we talked Nicholas into taking us to his favorite grill house for a real greek gyros. (Sakis Grill House -He called home to take orders from the family from this restaurant, so it had to be the real deal, right?!) We loved every memorable minute. Very personable, with charming and engaging guides. Very highly recommended, especially as a quiet change from a busy ship excursion. Thank you so much Nicholas and Matthaios!
Mattheios was our wonderful guide. Went thru a stroll of the beautiful village of Mykonos and, the windmills, church and took us to a town to get a better feel of the locals. Then it was off to a secluded beach that was absolutely beautiful where he had a wonderful spread of greek delights for us to enjoy.Thank you for a great experience. Highly reccommend!
I cannot say enough great things about this tour. Matt is such an excellent guide and wealth of information, this was the perfect way to get to know Mykonos and see parts most tourists won't. As a local, Matt knows so much about the history of Mykonos and you can tell his own personal upbringing and relationship with the island makes him extra passionate about what he does. After learning about the town and walking through while hitting all the major spots, we went to the other side of the island and were able to visit the oldest church there and its attached museum, which were amazing, and lastly we were taken to a small (almost secret definitely locals only) beach! It was perfect, and I cannot encourage you enough to sign up for this tour, it's the best way hands down to make the most of your time in Mykonos!
We will see the highlights of the island, I will tell you about the history of it as I have heard it from my grandpa and read from books and visit the natural northern beaches accompanied with traditional homemade Greek and Mykonian flavors.

This tour is perfect for any one who wants to see different sides of Mykonos - it’s a beautiful and spiritual island, not only parties and beaches! Our tour lady is superb! She is knowledgeable, funny and very very friendly. Free pick up at the hotel and drop off at the airport after. Perfect 👌🏻
Andy gave us a superb tour of Mykonos Island. He combined a great walking tour of the inner city with a comprehensive driving tour of the island. We saw all of the major points of interest along with many "off the beaten path spots that Andy knew we would enjoy. Andy has a great personality and is very knowledgeable about all things Mykonos! Would highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Andy. What a lovely man and what a gift to get to be shown around the island by him. He really tailored our day to the things my husband and I enjoyed. He was beyond knowledgeable. His sense of humor and thoughtfulness made it seem like we were old friends catching up. He epitomizes the word hospitality. We packed a week’s worth of sightseeing into one extremely enjoyable day. Highly recommend!!
Discover Mykonos in half a day with this private tour by foot and car. With your own private guide, you’ll enjoy an experience that’s tailored to your interests. If there’s something you really want to see, just let the guide know. Check out must-sees such as Little Venice on a walking tour, then relax in the comfort of a private car for a visit to Ano Mera and its monastery.
Great tour of the island. Our guide was very knowledgable of the island and we were able to see many little towns, a private chapel, a working farm/vineyard, several beaches and the appetizers at the end were wonderful. Thank you so much!
This tour was a wonderful way to learn more about Mykonos. Anastasia did a wonderful job explaining the island and showing us different areas that we would not have seen otherwise. I was so happy after the tour and would recommend to all traveling to Mykonos. The highlights for me were definitely going to the farm to try the delicious food and feed the goats.
Gibson arrived promptly and we got right under way. Oh so personable and pleasant and full of interesting information. Gibson was a most outstanding tour guide with a very solid knowledge of the area and each place we visited . (Of course, you would expect such - but there are no guarantees. ) While a consummate professional, he was also personable and endearing and made us feel so comfortable. Equally impressive was Gibson’s command of both Greek and English (he was African-born) and had only learned Greek within the past year a half. The tour itself had such a great variety of stops along the way - for photos or just “taking in” the moment - and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience and tour guide.
Get a local perspective of Mykonos beyond the famous sunsets, nightlife and windmills on a 4-hour tour of the island’s rich history and authentic culture. Travel far off the beaten tourist path as you enjoy a light snack and visit a working organic farm, a monastery, a traditional village market, and the lovely port of St. Ioannis.
My family cannot even begin to describe how wonderful of a day we had with Capt Michael and Alice. Both were lovely, knowledgeable and kind individuals. Captain Michael was great at making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every part of the trip. Alice was the second in command, but definitely in command of the kitchen. The lunch provided on the trip was truly wonderful! True Greek cuisine! It was the best meal we had in all of the Greece!
Captain Michael brought us to some wonderful snorkeling sites with crystal, clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. He connected with each one of our group. He was a delight and we would definitely sail with him and Alice again!
I highly recommend this tour and this company! The boat was impeccable, well maintained and well stocked for an awesome adventure at sea! We will definitely do this again when we return to Mykonos!
Experience the Aegean Sea’s magical waters on this private sailing adventure to Delos and Rhenia. After an optional hotel pickup, set sail from Ornos Bay and go swimming and snorkeling in secluded coves with complementary equipment. Enjoy an open bar and fresh meal prepared on board, then catch amazing views of Paros, Naxos, and (weather permitting) the archaeological site of Delos on the return journey.
The lady leading the tour is an archeologist. She is quite thorough, has a bundle of energy and was able to impart a lot about the history and society of its day.
Since we didn’t have headsets, it was difficult to hear the first part of her lengthy presentation. I would have preferred that she would wait until we got into an enclosed area to give her spiel. The wind was strong, and the crowd was large enough that when she turned to you we could hear, but when she turned the other way to address the rest of the group, we could not hear her.
Overall, though, it was a fascinating history. We were in enclosed areas for the rest of her tour, so that was no longer an issue.
Delos Island is a hidden gem. The boat trip over was good but there were a lot of people. Once we got to the island it was chaotic 2 boat loads of people trying to file through narrow entry gates and only 2 toilets so there was quite a wait. Our guide was very very informative but sometimes we spent too long at different areas listening to her. There were no listening devices so we all had to huddle close to her which at times wasn't easy with 30 people. At the end of her time with us we had 35
minutes to go where we wanted to and that wasn't enough time to look through the museum and walk up the very top of the mountain where there were more ruins and a fantastic view for sure.
We really enjoyed this trip. Our tour guide was friendly and loved questions. The only confusion was when the tour company driver brought us to the parking lot at the ferry dock and didn't have great directions for where to go next. We found our way to the kiosk but would have preferred to have been shown where to go.

Cellar Tour & Beer Tasting at Mykonos Brewing Company
100% would recommned
, Oct 2019
The whole experience was brilliant. We had booked this as we wanted to do something different on holiday and neither one of us had done a tasting before. Yoshi was informative, relaxed and friendly, and did an outstanding job as a tour guide, providing an excellent balance of teaching you all about the process in an easy to understand format which is inclusive of all who attend. Margarite was also a friendly and knowledgable host and you really got to feel welcome whilst there. We would recommend this tour to anyone and even though the tour was only 45mins, we ended up spending over 3 hours there and weren’t made to feel rushed. A great variety of beer to sample and a great experience for even those who aren’t usually keen beer drinkers.
You won’t have trouble finding a cold brew on Mykonos, but if you’re the kind of traveler who wants to know more about the beer they’re sipping, a tour and tasting at Mykonos Brewing Company is a must. Take a 30-minute tour, and sample six small-batch beers. The brewery is only 30 minutes from the town center on foot, meaning you can indulge without worrying about transport.
Our guide, Achim, met us off the tender and first walked us through the narrow passageways of the town explaining why and how the town grew up. He is German but spends the majority of his time there. This would be his last tour of the season. We visited the famous windmills on the edge of town the after about an hour took us to a wood fired bakery that is several hundred years old and still in operation for some fresh baked goods and refreshments. Then is was time for the island tour which took us on roads and to parts of the island that no bus tour could possibly take us. All in all it was a full 4-5 hours of seeing on of the very interesting islands in Greece.
Great tour and use of our limited time in Mykonos. Achem met us at the port and transported us in a comfortable van to see many sites in Mykonos. We had a couple not join us in the beginning of the tour, but Achem was very accommodating in meeting up with them a little later. We finished up touring Little Venice and the wind mills. Enjoyed an authentic meal, before having to return to the ship. Achem's insight to Mykonos gave us much more knowledge of the island than we would have had on our own. Achem is also a photographer, so as an added bonus, he took some great photos!
Our driver, Achim Eckhardt, was amazing! We got to see a lot of Mykonos in a short time. The service was wonderful, there are 2 of us with mobility issues and he made sure we could do all of the sight seeing and stopped to allow my husband to take pictures along the way. We ate lunch at a beautiful, little authentic Greek restaurant, the food was delicious! This is the way to see Mykonos! Thanks Achim for a wonderful afternoon.
Take a customized private tour of Mykonos. Visit the island's beaches, towns, villages, and other highlights in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with a dedicated guide. Hotel or port pickup and drop-off included.
Mykonos to Delos & Rhenia Cruise ,BBQ&drinks, optional Delos Tour & Transfer
, Oct 2019
The trip was amazing! Delos was very interesting and the waters around Rhenia were crystal clear! The captain and crew were very courteous and attention, making sure that we were satisfied throughout! The lunch provided was superb, with feta that melted in your mouth!
So glad we booked this trip and I definitely recommend to anyone with a day or two in Mykonos!
First of all, for those of you interested in a day of sailing, this is not it, although you will enjoy yourself immensely. Strangely enough, despite good winds, sails were not raised on any of the sailboats (of which there were at least three other cruise operators) employed on this pleasant journey. However, the stop off in Delos was just long enough (no need to hire a guide, just get a map, ticket, and go) and the BBQ lunch at Rhenia was great, as was the drinks. Made new friends, had a fantastic day on the water!
The boat was comfortable with max 30 people which was nice and not overwhelming. The crew was friendly and very accommodating. The delis stop was interesting but I recommend waiting on the line and stroll through the area on your own then skipping the line with a tour guide to pay 10 euros a person for only a 30 minute tour. The bbq was absolutely delicious and unlimited wine and beer is always a plus. An hour and half for lunch and swimming in the waters was very relaxing. I recommend this tour for a day away from the land.
Indulge in the ultimate day of fun in the sun on this all-inclusive, full-day sailing trip to ancient Delos island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You also stop in scenic Rhenia Island for a refreshing swim and snorkeling session in sparkling, sun-dappled waters. This sunrise excursion from Mykonos is the perfect way to explore lesser-known islands. You’ll get access to the remote island of Rinia, and the UNESCO-listed Delos. The boat trip gives you the freedom to choose which activities you take part in. You can relax on the boat, snorkel, explore the islands independently, or book a guided tour. Conveniently, snorkel equipment rental is included and you won’t have to worry about finding somewhere to eat, as a delicious buffet barbecue lunch with wine and soft drinks are included.
Set the sails to the wind and explore the exclusive beauties of Mykonos on a sailing yacht with the onboard buffet of Greek flavors and complimentary wine, beers, and soft drinks. Escape busy Mykonos for a day—and discover two of the region’s highlight islands—on this paradisiacal sailing tour. Following morning departure, head to Rhenia Island to swim, sunbathe, and explore the scenery at leisure. After a traditional Greek barbecue lunch on board, continue to Delos Island, said to be Apollo’s birthplace. Depending on your interests, visit its archaeological site (entry own expense) or the island’s tranquil beaches.
Private Cruise: DELOS – RHENIA – SOUTH COASTLINE OF MYKONOS
From $1,138.80 per group
, Oct 2019
The island of Delos was amazing to see. Rhenia was a great swimming spot. Unfortunately we ,my husband,,sister and brother in law, felt we did not get what we paid for and felt the description of the tour was misleading. It stated open bar and snacks. We were told when we contacted the contact in Mykonos the tour was water, beer and wine with snacks, not open bar and we were fine with that. The boat captain had 4 beers no wine on board but had rum and coke When we reached Rhenia we were given a bottle of wine from different tour operator. The captain handed us a small container of nuts from a hotel for the four of us to split. We didn't consider 10 nuts each as snacks. We were given a 200 euro credit for the issues. If the tour was as described on Viator it would have been a 5 star rating.
Open to both young and old, this private cruise around Mykonos and some of its nearby islands is a great way to experience the beauty of the Aegean Sea on your own without any distractions. Stop by Delos, a sacred island of historical importance and said to be the birthplace of the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis, then sail to nearby Rhenia. Relax on the beach, go swimming or snorkeling or even stay on the boat – how you spend your time is up to you.
Mykonos: Superior Yacht Cruise to Rhenia Island and Guided Tour of Delos
Amazing day trip!
, Oct 2019
My girlfriend and I had a great time on this excursion. There was plenty of room aboard the boat and everything was very clean. The swimming area was crystal clear blue waters with some fish and other marine life to see while snorkeling. The crew was also very attentive going above and beyond to make sure we wanted for nothing. Highly recommend booking.
Great excursion combining the sun, water, history, & good food!
, Sep 2019
We were very fortunate to have an excellent "no wind" day for our excursion, and it was awesome! The water is so beautiful, and the cruise out to Rhenia Island was nice and smooth. We swam around the ship and some went onto the beach. The food was good Greek fare, and they had beer, wine, water and soft drinks aplenty. Delos is a very interesting place, and we could have spent much more time there looking around, but it was hot. It would have been nice to go to Delos first, then to Rhenia, but the trip back to the port cooled us off, so it worked out good in the end. We were very glad we did this, and would do it again. The crew were friendly and helpful.
Experience the Cyclades’ natural beauty and history on this luxury cruise to Rhenia and Delos islands. After a convenient hotel pickup, board a 112-foot (34-meter) yacht and sail for the picturesque, uninhabited island of Rhenia. Go snorkeling with complimentary gear and enjoy a delicious lunch with wine and beer—they’re included in the tour—before heading to the sacred ruins of Delos for a guided tour.
Explore the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea on this guided snorkeling adventure in Mykonos. After a brief introduction to the snorkeling location and equipment, head to the water to begin your adventure. As you snorkel look for parrotfish, rainbow wrasses, barracudas, flounder fish, seahorses, and more marine life.
The queues in Mykonos for the boat are mental! Despite buying the tickets online you still need to queue and exchange your ticket for the boat and island ticket which is not ideal in hot weather with no shade! The ferry ride over is beautiful as is the island itself and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Enjoyed our trip to Delos but it was not as good as the other tours we took in Greece, primarily due to large group format and our initial inability to find our guide. We were told to look for a guide holding a #2 sign, but she was holding up a blue flag instead. Another lady at the gate was handing out tickets, so we were able to get in, but then we had to race from group to group looking for the other #2s. We missed the first part of the tour.
For future travellers, suggest the following:
1. Book a small group tour (if they exist). What we could hear from our guide was very interesting, but she often started her talk before the entire group arrived.
2. Arrive in Mykonos town in time to walk from bus or taxi to the ferry office which is on a point around the bay in Mykonos town. You'll probably need at least 15 minutes. Turn in your receipt for tickets at the ferry office.
4. Be prepared for choppy seas if it is windy.
Exploring classical Delos without a guide could leave you just guessing at what it is you see and missing hidden highlights. Get the best from the island’s relics and hear the full stories behind the temples, sanctuaries, and artifacts on this half-day tour from Mykonos. A choice of departures provides flexibility, and the tour includes return ferries and entry fees. Upgrade to add Mykonos hotel or cruise port transfers.
Great walking tour, great guide, but most of the city was shut down
, Nov 2019
We really enjoyed the guide and the walking tour. Through none of her fault, we had some people that walked with canes and needed a lot of additional time to keep up with the group. Not sure why someone would do that to elderly women, especially since the roads are very rough to walk on. Also, Mykonos shuts down after tourist season. We had no idea how little would be open on Nov 1st. Again, not the guide’s fault. I would definitely recommend this walking tour, especially if you go between May and Mid-October to fully enjoy the island.
Discover the charm and history of Mykonos's white-washed churches, windmills, and narrow winding streets on this in-depth walking tour of old town. Learn about famous local figures, stroll through the island's 'Little Venice, and nibble tasty treats from a popular bakery. Venture off the beaten path as your guide shares local lore, and dig into the town's ancient and cultural roots with a visit to the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. Hotel or port pickup and drop-off is included.
