this trip was amazing and so much fun Our guide Roman made the trip the best with his great personality and fun filled attitude. He made sure we were on track for time and for very good reasons. This made the trip work out so well and run smoothly. I haven't laughed and smiled so much as on this tour with Roman. Thank you.
Trip was first class starting from the Train Station to the end of trip. We had second seating for lunch which was great. First half of trip was watching the vineyards and second half was the lunch. I had salmon and my husband had the steak. Both were delicious. Would recommend this trip.
Doing what: Napa Valley Wine Train with Gourmet Lunch
This was an exceptional experience!!! We would highly recommend this trip. We did the tour which included the ferry from San Francisco to Vallejo where we took a shuttle bus to the train station. The shuttle driver was very informative, comfortable ride too. Everything is so well organized at the station. Our gourmet lunch was by far, the BEST! The salad was yummy and fresh. We had the filet mignon which melted in our mouth, the vegetables were wonderful. Then we were taken to the dessert car for an absolutely scrumptious dessert, more wine. We had the best day ever! The two wineries were incredible. Everyone was so professional. Would highly recommend.
Roman was an excellent tour guide! He was informative and entertaining! It was an awesome tour and highly recommend!
We were picked up promptly by our funny and knowledgeable guide for the trip. The beauty of Muir Woods speaks for itself. The wineries were well chosen with beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Nice to have someone else do the driving and not have to rent a car.
Interesting, fun and good value. Appreciated getting to Muir Woods to enjoy it in peace, and lunch in Sonoma, ahead of the crowds. Good variety of wineries 3 in total. Reasonable-size group about 30.Our guide, Roman, was outstanding--very entertaining and knowledgeable--and kept us on time without feeling rushed.
This was a wonderful trip to Muir Woods and Wine Country. Our tour guide Antony was the best. He was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor which of course made it that much more enjoyable. The redwood trees are stupendous and it is hard to fathom that they have been around for thousands of years. Would have liked to have more time to explore Muir Woods so a second trip is definitely necessary. The Wine Country part of the tour was equally as wonderful. The 3 boutique wineries had some very tasty wines albeit Cline was my favorite. We had purchase the lunch with wine pairings and it was very delicious. Although the wine didn't always arrive with the food it was to be paired with which would have made it a bit better. I would definitely recommend this tour although maybe without the lunch as wandering the town might have been a better choice.

This was the highlight of my Napa trip. We went to the Grgich Hills winery by luxury bus first, and had our tour in the late fall sunset, sampled some outstanding wine, then boarded the train for an amazing meal. We chose to drink the wine that we had purchased at Grgich, but the selection on board was also outstanding. This was a really fun tour.
By far one of my best experience ever. The food was great small portions but very good, the soup was excellent, I highly recommend it
The people we're very friendly and we met a nice couple on the train.
The wineyard tour in itself is worth the money. Great wines some of the best I ever had, and I am used to some great French wines Belgium here
Both Raymond and Charles Krug we're perfect, got myself some great wines to take back home.
Highly recommend this trip !!

What are your tours of Scotland or Hawaii?
Had a fantastic day. First off, Romain our guide made the day so fun - we laughed so much on the coach and learnt a lot too!
Getting to Muir woods so early was perfect as we were able to walk through the trees with no one else around - on the way back to the coach we could see the hoards of people coming into the forest and were glad to have had the opportunity to see the forest in a peaceful atmosphere. There was only an hour to walk around so for people who want to do the longer trails you'll need to find an extra day - we were only in San Francisco for a long weekend so wanted to do as much as possible and even though it was only and hour in the forest, it was a great experience!
The wine tasting was fun and the different vineyards all had their own unique charm.
Topped off with a bonus stop on the way back by the Golden Gate Bridge for some great photos.
Excellent guide, timing of each visit was perfect. Informative staff along the way.
Excellent tour. Muir Woods were very lovely, and the wineries were great. My only complaint would be that I wish it was longer and that we got to spend more time at each winery. One winery was a bit rushed, though the other two we spent a good amount of time at. The tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun.
My husband and I thought our tour guide Roman made this trip incredible. He was knowledgable, hilarious, not overbearing, self aware, time efficient, and a pleasure to be with. He made the bus ride part of the whole experience! Highly Recommend.
Romano, bus driver and guide was outstanding very informative and funny one of the best tours we ever took
The Muir Woods and Wine Country with gourmet lunch was great. Weather was fine, wineries did a great job and lunch was top notch.
I truly enjoyed this tour from the pickup at the hotel to the actual tour itself, the buses were very comfortable and nice, the driver for the Tour was excellent, very knowledgeable about San Francisco and surrounding areas. Loved Sonoma and Napa, visiting the Nicholson and Madonna family owned wineries was very much worth it - got the opportunity to taste and purchase wines that I would have never had the opportunity to taste. After having lunch in Yountville, a lovely city - I highly recommend visiting and while there eating at Hurley's, last stop was Sutter Home Winery, which was very nice. I highly recommend this tour - the price is right which includes hotel pickup and drop off.
Doing what: Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Tour
This tour was absolutely perfect!! They picked us up at our hotel and had a nice quiet start to our day at Muir Woods! Other tours we looked at did not include Muir Woods and we were glad we stopped there! The 3 wineries were great and got better as the day went along. I would recommend this tour
