Naples is a city that only seems to make the international news when something bad happens, so it may seem strange that it’s such a major port for Mediterranean cruises. The truth is that Naples is an historic city with much to offer the tourist – whether you’re visiting for a day on a cruise or you stay for a little longer. It pays to do your homework before you arrive in Naples, since it’s an enormous city and anyone with limited time can get easily overwhelmed, but you’ll be glad to know that as long as you’re armed with a little information and common sense you can really enjoy this quintessentially Italian city.
