Nassau Shore Excursion: Island Highlights Sightseeing Tour
, Feb 2020
Queen Bee our Tour guide and Tyrone the driver were great. She had so much knowledge of the island. We really enjoyed the tour. We only wished that there was more time at that Atlantis. Happy Birthday Queen Bee
First off Viator has the meeting information incorrect. There is no yellow bench at a bus stop.
The guide that showed up in front of McDonalds.
The guide was very informative and friendly. This is a very strenuous trip. According to my pedometer we walked close to 10 miles, counting the walk to/from a cruise ship.
We went on a cruise so did not want to spend too much time navigating so this was a good that way.But the stop to rum cake, tequila making seemed more like tour traps.I bought the Rum cake and it was delicious.
Tour Nassau's landmarks and highlights, including a visit to the Atlantis Resort aboard a comfortable minivan. During this 2.5-hour sightseeing tour, huff up the Queen Victoria staircase for spectacular photo ops and visit the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory. Visit the famous Atlantis resort, the Graycliff Chocolate Factory and John Watling's Distillery. Along the way, enjoy historical and cultural commentary from your local guide. Round-trip transportation from the Nassau port or hotels is included.
Full-Day Small-Group Tour to Pig Beach by Powerboat
, Jan 2020
I recently visited the Bahamas this past November 2019 with my friend. We booked this tour and could not be more satisfied. Captain Henny and Captain Flowers were very informative. Every sight seeing location was truly breathtaking. The Pig Beach and the Sharks had to be my favorite. We spent a lot of time at each stop and we were able to capture every moment on this tour. We stopped for food and drinks, which was delicious. Shout out to the chef. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Bahamas. The water is so clean and clear, you will not be disappointed. This tour exceeded my expectations and would return on my next trip back to the Bahamas. I will post pictures soon.
This trip was amazing and the best in the Bahamas! I was very nervous about the Powerboat, but Tyla reassured me and calmed me the entire trip going from one island to another- he always made sure I was okay! He is an asset to the team, so knowledgable and such a hard worker! The trip itself is really the trip of a lifetime. Swimming with the sharks was incredible and seeing the pigs on pig beach was surreal and such an experience! The whole trip is like being on a movie, it is total paradise and 100% worth the money. The only small criticism I have is that the boat needs ladders! The guys are great getting people on and off the boat but ladders would be very helpful. Thank you Tyla and the rest of the team for an experience I will never forget! xxx Kim.
Cruise off the coast of Nassau and visit several islands in one day on this power boat tour of the Bahamas, a great choice for first-time visitors and nature lovers. Plus, lunch and round-trip transportation from Nassau Paradise Island is included.
You know how you go on a trip, and people ask you how it was? This was the first cruise for my fiance and I, so there was a lot that we could talk about. But the one thing that we bring up every time was the Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour put on by Captain Ron!
Captain Ron was AMAZING! Great walking tour put together with lots of great information. It started to rain very hard on us during the tour, and Captain Ron was ready with ponchos. Despite the weather, we had a great time; one of the most memorable parts of our trip!!! I highly recommend Captain Ron and his Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour to anyone going to Nassau; you won't be disappointed!
The Nassau Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour were a highlight of our trip! My husband and I could not have been happier with the experience that Captain Ron gave us! It was above and beyond what we expected. His personality, humor, deep understanding and love for his country are evident. We would hands down repeat this tour and I have already recommended it to others traveling to the area soon.
My wife and I did this tour last week and we enjoyed our selves. The food and drinks were ranging from good to excellent. This tour is a good way to introduce your self to the Bahamian food and the downtown food scene. I would also recommend you to do it early on your visit to the Bahamas.
It could also be useful to know that that the tour does not cover that much of the Nassau history and landmarks. If you want that as well, you could do another tour later on in your Bahamas trip.
Explore Bahamian cuisine and culture on this food and walking tour in Nassau’s historic neighborhood. Sample tasty foods at six venues – including family-owned restaurants and specialty shops. Sip on handcrafted rum cocktails while you nibble on classic conch fritters and Bahamian mac ‘n’ cheese. Expect food quantities to be equivalent to a hearty lunch. Beyond the bites, you’ll also experience the rich culture and architecture Nassau has to offer. This is a small-group tour, with a maximum of 12 people, ensuring a personalized experience.
Famous Swimming Pigs Tour Bahamas - Full Day Powerboat to Exuma from Nassau
Expensive, but glad we did it.
, Feb 2020
Excellent tour! A little on the expensive side, but my group is so happy we did it. Roscoe, Leslie, and Tyson were wonderful, fun guides that made the experience memorable. Smooth ride on the boat and the provided lunch was surprisingly delicious. I wish we could've stayed by the sharks and the pigs a little longer, but there were other tours waiting their turns. The guides kept everyone hydrated and our tummies full. I'd definitely recommend.
My husband and I both really enjoyed the excursion. Our crew was very nice and helpful and the boat ride was a lot of fun! All of the stops were equally fun, but the pigs were the highlight! The only complaint I have is the condition of a few of the pigs. A few had obvious skin issues and there was one that was very thin and not moving around like the others. Another seemed to have an issue with its back which was causing trouble with its rear legs. I hope that since we are using them for personal gain and entertainment, that someone is taking proper care of the pigs. Overall, it was a very fun experience and I would highly recommend the excursion and the company. I just pray these animals are getting the care they need...
The staff was so friendly and very patient with all of us. We left on time and returned on time.. everything went smooth. They made sure we were good on drinks every chance they had. Very welcoming and so funny! The whole tour was beautiful. Our lunch was ready right when we got to the restaurant. This tour was our absolute favorite part of our Bahama trip! Worth every penny. It was perfect wouldn’t change anything. Can’t wait to do this again

ATV Island Tour( Beach Break, Lunch, Free Tropical Drinks & Rum Cake Souvenir)
The best offshore excursion
, Feb 2020
wow! What an experience! I would highly recommend this. We took a tour through the streets of the entire island, we stopped at local businesses and some historic monuments! Not to mention we got free rum cake and a delicious lunch! What topped the whole day off was a free alcoholic drink at the end! My man and I loveddddd every minute of it! The whole staff made the process so easy and we appreciated them to the fullest! We’ll definitely be back!
Found this tour on a whim but I'm sooo glad I did! I went to a cruise with some girlfriends and this was by far one of the best island experiences I've done. Our tour guide Brittany was phenomenal and took us to both informative and stunning places. I highly recommend this to anyone!
Hop aboard a Can-Am Outlander 450 ATV and experience the best of Nassau during a morning or afternoon tour with an expert guide. Drive your own ATV or ride as a passenger and comfortably cruise along the coastline. Learn about the history of the Bahamas and visit historical sites like the Queen's Staircase and Fort Charlotte. This leaves just enough time for a beach break and an included lunch on the beach.
It was on time for both trips. The beach is beautiful. Please pack plenty of water or huy some there. There is not enough umbrellas or tarps. So be aware most people spent the day in the sun no shade.
Lunch was good bbq chicken salad rice hotdog and salad.
Swimming pigs were cool. I didnt snorkel.. All around great trip for the day.. try the voodoo juice its amazing
Cruise to the pristine Rose Island during this trip from Nassau. On this half-day excursion, relax on the remote beach, participate in group activities or snorkel in the calm, turquoise waters. Enjoy a welcome cocktail aboard the boat, then go kayaking, play beach volleyball or explore the island on foot before indulging in a delicious buffet-style lunch.
My husband and I had a great time touring Nassau with Leon, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a great guide! The Jeep was super fun, people were taking pictures everywhere we turned. The food was delicious, historical sites were beautiful and best of all Junkanoo museum was the highlight with a cultural immersion you won’t want to miss. Highly recommend you experience the real Nassau for yourself & take this adventure!
Everything about this excursion was amazing!! The tour guide Tamar was so informative, nice and entertaining! He gave us so much info on the island and history. We stopped at some cool landmarks and places to get adult beverages along the way! The Jeep was cool and comfortable. The stop for lunch had great food. I highly recommended this tour!

Our tour was an epic adventure filled with drinks, jams and just a bit of drama (from some other guests). If you’re looking for a fun, safe, one of a kind tour this is the one for you. At the beginning I was skeptical, I mean how many local tours do you see with this many 5 star reviews, but it lived up to the expectation! Even with the drama, Kleva and her trainee made sure we were taken care of and got us back safely.
My family and I (6 total) visited Nassau wile on our cruise and wanted something fun to do. I had been to Nassau several times and none of the cruise tours sounds good and the prices were crazy. I found the Rum Reggae and Rhythms Tour online and decided to take a chance and could not have been happier. Our tour guide or as she called herself our new cousin was Clever. She met us at the agreed upon place and took us to the tour van and to our surprise it was just our family on the tour. The Sip-Slow drink was awesome and everyone loved it. The stops at the Graycliff resort for the cigar and chocolate factories were great and the wine tasting was also surprisingly good. We loved the Bob Marley house as well. The best part of the tour was Clever, she was so friendly and even helped us find the best Conch Salad on the island. She also took us to the best Daiquiri place I have ever been in all my travels. I would highly recommend this tour, you cannot beat it for the price. Thanks again Clever and I look forward to seeing my cousin again on our next trip to Nassau.
My wife visited Nassau through an NCL cruise and booked this on our own. We met our guide at the meeting location. There was one other couple. The bus was an older van, in the typical condition that you would expect from the island. It did have AC and a very fun driver/tour guide.
If you are expecting a high-end Disney style tour, this is not for you. If you want the feel of a local knowledgeable tour guide to show you some of Nassau's best spots, and you have an open mind, this is for you.
We went to Grayciiffe Hotel where they had a small cigar rolling factory with local people showing their craft. I was nice to get behind the scenes and watch them make cigar rolling look easy. Bought a couple nice cigars - a little pricey but a REALLY good smoke.
Also in the hotel was the chocolate factory. Not a big behind the scenes tour here, but enough to get the idea, and leave us liking it.
Next was the wine tasting. The wine wasn't very good, but the server made us a couple fruit infused concoctions which everyone liked! Overall the place had an interesting history and we loved just walking around the old hotel.
Then we boarded the bus and went to the rum factory. This was really cool and we had a few glasses of rum to taste. This place was little more refined and the rum was top notch.
The next stop was Cable Beach, the old Marley home. The beach is beautiful and the water warm. We ordered a few local dishes to nibble on. They were expensive, but the ambience was perfect.
All the while, our guide was serving up Sip Slow out of jug, which we gladly drank down, and heeded the warning of sipping slow. We came away with a little glow, a couple new friends and better appreciation of Nassau.
Would definitely recommend!

Discover herbal teas and remedies at Tasty Teas, sample an authentic piña colada at John Watling's Distillery, and learn about the islands' history as you gaze at the Queen's Staircase. The tour also includes a slice of rum cake at the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory.
We had such a great time on this tour! It started off with a tasting of 5 different rums which put everybody in a good mood right off the bat. During the tasting, our guide was telling stories about the history of rum running and piracy in The Bahamas. This is also where we had the first of the food tastings so that we weren't drinking on empty stomachs. This was a good idea.
After the tasting, we were each given a refreshing drink (made with rum, of course) to take on our walk to the next stop. I won't go into detail about each stop but I will say that they were all great with really good food and drinks. These are places that I didn't even know existed in Nassau and I'm so happy I was able to see them.
The tour ended at the John Watling's Distillery where we had, and I'm not even exaggerating, the best Pina Colada you will ever taste. I had a sample of this a few years back and the full drink was every bit as good as I remember.
If you're looking for something to do in Nassau that will take you off the beaten path and show you some seriously cool places you didn't know about all while sampling tasty drinks and food along with meeting some fun people along the way, this is the tour for you.
So I read in a lot of reviews that the Rum Tour was one of people's favorite parts of the trip. Turns out, they were right! Our tour guide MIKEY was the best! He was super funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and really on top of things. You learn a lot about piracy - which was nothing like the movies portray it - about the Bahamas and of course about rum. You get a surprising amount of food and drink for the price. It really is an incredible deal. I was a little bummed at first with the first set of rums we were trying because the majority were rums that are common in the US. BUT, Captain Morgan down there does not taste like it does up here! It has more vanilla and is way better. It was so good we bought a bottle to bring home! So don't be fooled by what you're getting - there are differences. The art studio was particularly awesome and we absolutely loved walking through the enormous, old hotel and seeing where the cigars are made and tasting chocolates. DO IT! And if possible, request MIKEY because he really was the best!!! He made the tour even better than it already was!!!

Our family had a wonderful time with Captain Justin and co Captain Kale (sorry if I misspelled the name). The boat was clean and organized. Justin and Kale made everything very comfortable.. we felt like we were all family.. kept us entertained with great music and explain the geographical area (names of the islands). Would definitely recommend. Be sure to ask for Justin and Kale with Reel dream charter.

Relax on a day trip Blue Lagoon Island during this all-inclusive beach day from Nassau. Lounge on the beach, swim in the aqua Caribbean waters or have fun in the games area. Visit the marine park to view sea lions and dolphins, then grab a grilled lunch with iced tea, lemonade or fruit punch.
We did the self guided tour and had a great day. The machine was nice and the Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They pointed in the right direction and away we went. If we did this again we would stay on the hotel side of the island or over the bridge. Wasn't much to see or do on the other side of the island past jaws beach. I would rent from them again
Employees couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. Answered all our questions about what not to miss, where to go, how to get there etc. Been to Nassau twice before but saw the entire island for the first time. From 7 to 70, everyone in our party enjoyed it immensely!

Sample local Bahamian products like tea at Tasty Teas, small-batch rum at John Watling's Rum Distillery, chocolate at Graycliff Chocolatier, and conch fritters at Arawak Cay.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Nassau. Sandi and Keith were informative and fun! We were staying at a VRBO for a week and this gave us a great overview and helped us plan our stay so I would recommend taking this tour early in your visit! Sandi and Keith didn’t just pick “touristy” spots - Montagu Fish Market and conch salad was amazing. The conch salad was the best we had during our stay. They can tailor the tour to the participants interests. They added a stop at John Watkins Distillery when several of us asked about it! Definitely a winner.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get some history about the Bahamas and be able to stop and taste some of the local edibles. Keith and Sandy did a fantastic job and they were very personable.
