- One of the oldest communities in South America—the Ica-Chincha—buried their ancestors less than 30 kilometers (17 miles) from Nazca. Entry to the necropolis is tightly guarded, so join a tour to see the 1,000-year-old Chauchilla Cemetery and its mummies, skeletons, pottery fragments, and traces of textiles. During your time wandering the grounds, you'll learn about the site's tragic past. Pickup and drop-off and your admission ticket are provided.
