One of the most popular beaches on the island, Oualie Beach features incredible views across the water to nearby St Kitts. The Oualie Beach Resort also has a swinging beach bar and a lively restaurant, plus it’s the perfect spot to take in a kaleidoscopic sunset each evening while sipping a frozen boat drink.
Calm, shallow waters make this beach an ideal place to swim and snorkel. Families with kids can safely frolic in the blue Caribbean, not to mention find plenty of playmates to build sandcastles with. You can find a handful of lounge chairs and hammocks along the sun-kissed sands fronting the Oualie Beach Resort.
Oualie Beach sits on the northwestern tip of the island, about a 10-minute drive from Charlestown. The beach is open to the public, and visitors can buy food, drinks and book watersports at the Oualie Beach Resort on the north end of the beach.
