How To Get Around in New Orleans

No reviews, be the first!

New Orleans is a wonderfully complex and culturally rich city. There’s so much to do and see here that you’ll likely be asking yourself, at some point or another, ‘what is the best way to get around?’ There are many options – car (either rental or taxi) being the penultimate preference – next to walking, but there are a few other options, most notably the Canal Street Ferry and the famous Streetcar lines.

The New Orleans Streetcar is as much a part of New Orleans as the city itself; it seems that nearly every postcard snapshot of New Orleans has captured the green streetcar rolling down some part of the city. The mahogany benches, brass fittings and metal cable-line brakes all hark back to the classic and romantic which make New Orleans special.
