This marsh is thick with Bald Cypress and Tupelo, which is where the very expensive Tupelo Honey is harvested by those brave enough to find their way out there, make their way from boat to soaring Tupelo, climb it fighting bees the entire way, harvest honey, and haul it back down the way they came.
... rather a thick floating thatch which rises and settles with the water level. Should you try to walk over it, you most likely would break through. When you kick and scream for help, you are calling all allegators. The grass closes the hole and you are never to be seen again.
