Great trip. Guide was great.
well worth booking in advance, good cruise, amazing museum experience
Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We did not leave a tip as all we had was 50's and 100's. We also felt it would probably have rude to ask for change.
If you are limited for time this is an excellent way of seeing some iconic sights. Once on the harbour taxi you get an expert commentary so you don't miss anything.
Dropping off at Battery Park there is a 5-10 min walk to the memorial and museum. Be prepared for an emotional couple of hours, No jingoism, just an incredibly tasteful account of an horrendous day and account of the hours, days and months that followed. You cannot class this as enjoyable, but we still count it as the most memorable part of our visit.
Walking down Wall street we rejoined the taxi to continue sightseeing. Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and Lady Liberty with a stop for photos and a history lesson, very good. Your ticket is valid for the whole day so I would advise getting there as early as you can to fit as much as you want into your day.
A very informative and entertaining tour. Well worth the money.
Debbie our Tour Guide was OUTSTANDING!!!! She provided so much information and personal experience and insights for us. I highly recommend her tour!!!
This tour was worth every penny. I took my 10 year old granddaughters on this tour because I thought it would hit all the highlights of New York. I wasn't disappointed. They and their mothers loved it, but towards the end, they got a little tired and hungry. The tour started at 7:30 am and didn't stop til 1 pm. Then we broke for lunch of our choice and reboarded the water taxi got the Statue of Liberty which was a big hit. Our tour guide Jim was perfect - a wisecracking But informative New Yorker. Thanks for making this trip special!
This really is the best way to tour New York, with such an expert and empathetic guide as Heidi. Punctual, we were a mixed group of age, nationality and mobility but we breezed through the usual Empire State security with plenty of time for pictures and Heidi helped us with couple photos. Bus tour great for orientation, intrepid museum very interesting for military buffs, great river tour, Wall Street and ended at the 9/11 Memorial. I like to do my own thing when travelling and steer away from guides and tours but ask for Heidi and you will be guided by a first class tour guide with boundless enthusiasm and insights into New York life that only a true New Yorker can give.
Jim wasa great guide to the city
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and were well looked after by Jim.
Really enjoyed all trips. Tour guides were good some funnier than others and each with different speel on things. Enjoyed the hop on/off ferry too and lovely views on the evening tour too sunset photos of Manhattan looked lovely
Excellent tour and tour guide! Would highly recommend this to others!!
Outstanding experience. The guide was not only knowledgeable but very funny and engaging. Great overview of different areas of New York I had never seen. Highly recommend
All guides on the different loops were great to listen to, told us so much about New York. Great way to see the city, takes you to so many different locations.
What a great way to start a visit to The Big Apple! Our guide, Serge, and driver, Robert, gave us a truly memorable day touring Manhattan. The trip started from the Gray Line Office, which was very handy for us as our hotel was just on the other side of Times Square. We had a thourough orientation of the sights of the city which helped us to decide where to spend more time and where we didn't feel we needed to visit. We got to see areas off the usual tourist track - like Grant's Tomb - and got a taster for the must see parts like the Statue of Liberty. We'd had a discussion about which length of trip to go for and agreed that the 6 hour tour worked well for us. The lunch at the Grotta Azurra was very enjoyable and the cruise round the lower part of Manhattan gave some great photos. The star of the day though was Serge who has a gift for giving information while entertaining! A great trip.

Debbie was a great tour guide.
We had a great time with Heidi! She was fun, energetic, and full of information.
really enjoyed the tour. Very informative. The guide was hilarious, typical New Yorker full on, but certainly knew her stuff!!
WITHOUT DOUBT, THE BEST TOUR GUIDE HEIDI WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. TRULY OUTSTANDING.
JIM DID A WONDERFUL HE MADE THE TOUR ALOT OF FUN AND HIS JOKES MADE THE TOUR MEMORABLE WOULD RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY
As my husband is an ex firefighter this was a must for us. Very reflective. Even if you have an entry time still be prepared to queue. Our entry time was 12 and we got in at just turned 1.
This was our first tour in our holiday and was a very good start. We saw all the major tourist sites we wanted to see but the icing on the cake was the boat trip around the Statue of Liberty - great commentary by the skipper just enhanced our views of all the things we saw - greatly recommended.
