As my husband is an ex firefighter this was a must for us. Very reflective. Even if you have an entry time still be prepared to queue. Our entry time was 12 and we got in at just turned 1.
What a fantastic city with plenty to see. The New York city Explorer Pass was a great way to save money and see all the sights Slightly confusing when you first use the pass as no one seems to know to provide you with a brochure and instructions for booking tours.Even after i had phoned to check we were not given the brochure until we went to planet Hollywood and then we still had to email to book. But once we got started it was very simply and easy to use. Great fun

Outstanding experience. The guide was not only knowledgeable but very funny and engaging. Great overview of different areas of New York I had never seen. Highly recommend
Jim wasa great guide to the city
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and were well looked after by Jim.
This really is the best way to tour New York, with such an expert and empathetic guide as Heidi. Punctual, we were a mixed group of age, nationality and mobility but we breezed through the usual Empire State security with plenty of time for pictures and Heidi helped us with couple photos. Bus tour great for orientation, intrepid museum very interesting for military buffs, great river tour, Wall Street and ended at the 9/11 Memorial. I like to do my own thing when travelling and steer away from guides and tours but ask for Heidi and you will be guided by a first class tour guide with boundless enthusiasm and insights into New York life that only a true New Yorker can give.
This was definitely well worth the money. So many things we could have gone to. We chose our main ones and just didn't have time to do any others. Make a note of opening times and if they advise when best to go. We ended up queuing in the pouring rain for nearly 30mins for the Natural History Museum. Well worth it though - this place is an all day look around. For the Empire State Building and Night Entrance has to be same day, if you are splitting the two, make sure you don't go before 8.00pm or you will have to wait.

This tour was worth every penny. I took my 10 year old granddaughters on this tour because I thought it would hit all the highlights of New York. I wasn't disappointed. They and their mothers loved it, but towards the end, they got a little tired and hungry. The tour started at 7:30 am and didn't stop til 1 pm. Then we broke for lunch of our choice and reboarded the water taxi got the Statue of Liberty which was a big hit. Our tour guide Jim was perfect - a wisecracking But informative New Yorker. Thanks for making this trip special!
Debbie our Tour Guide was OUTSTANDING!!!! She provided so much information and personal experience and insights for us. I highly recommend her tour!!!
A very informative and entertaining tour. Well worth the money.
If you are limited for time this is an excellent way of seeing some iconic sights. Once on the harbour taxi you get an expert commentary so you don't miss anything.
Dropping off at Battery Park there is a 5-10 min walk to the memorial and museum. Be prepared for an emotional couple of hours, No jingoism, just an incredibly tasteful account of an horrendous day and account of the hours, days and months that followed. You cannot class this as enjoyable, but we still count it as the most memorable part of our visit.
Walking down Wall street we rejoined the taxi to continue sightseeing. Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and Lady Liberty with a stop for photos and a history lesson, very good. Your ticket is valid for the whole day so I would advise getting there as early as you can to fit as much as you want into your day.
Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We did not leave a tip as all we had was 50's and 100's. We also felt it would probably have rude to ask for change.
well worth booking in advance, good cruise, amazing museum experience
Fabulous pass to buy, easy to pick up from any attraction, must show ID on collection Passport/Driving Licence. Definitely jumped queues which was great with so much to see!! There were also discount vouchers in the booklet for some stores and restaurants
