The best part of this tour is the down-home hospitality Sam tries to deliver with every ride. There is no real set schedule, so we have a bit more flexibility in how we do things. Sam will help you from the time you first write to the time she hugs you goodbye at the last stop and beyond if you're traveling to anywhere else that she is familiar with. 2 Hour Mersey River Quickie Adventure4WD Tours

2 Hour Mersey River Quickie Adventure

On this tour you'll explore the Mersey River (one of the most beautiful places in the park to paddle, in my opinion). Rendezvous at the Whynot Adventure HQ (Jake's Landing) 15 min before the tour is set to start. We have a large parking lot situated just before you arrive at our location on the river. We recommend bringing a camera as this tour is full of wildlife photography options (I know you're thinking moose and bears, but in Keji we specialize in turtles, giant bullfrogs, muskrat, beavers and white-tailed deer, oh and sometimes a swimming squirrel). On this guided tour you might learn about 'Keji tea' or hear the legend of Jim Charles' Gold, while paddling your canoe or kayak up the river with intermittent stops to take in the magic and learn about some of Keji's secrets. This tour is an 'out n'back' so you'll get to enjoy the gentle current on the way back to Jake's Landing.

Peggy’s Cove & HalifaxBus Tours

Peggy’s Cove & Halifax

star-5
Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove. Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII. From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse. Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

Valley Wine TourWine Tastings

Valley Wine Tour

Nova Scotia boasts some of the finest winery in Canada. Known for its historic maritime culture, fantastic beaches, the Bay of Fundy's record tides now add a great wine to that list. The earliest vines in Nova Scotia were planted in around 1610 by Champlain's hard-working band of settlers. It was and still is great to relax to a glass of wine after a hard day's work. Today the wine industry in Nova Scotia has grown to become a proud addition to the province's economy. We will begin our tour with the narration of the areas of our intended sites. Our first visit will be at the Domaine de Grand Pre Winery, where we will spend about two hours exploring this site. We will spend the day investigating the various vineyards where you can take in the beauty and sample their unique offerings. This is a day that is spent outdoors so please dress appropriately for this tour. Walking shoes are ideal.
