2-Day Normandy, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel Tour from Paris
2 day trip Paris to Normandy and Britany
, Oct 2019
This trip was a good value: competent guides, good selection of highlights of the area including Omaha Beach D-Day site, Mont San Michel, and the towns of Rouen and Honfleur. Comfortable accommodations for overnight. Missed visiting the museum of WWII in Caen but there simply wasn't time.
Our tour of Normandie was a step into history. Our guide was knowledgeable and added a nice perspective to each stop. We enjoyed the route, site selections, and time allocated to each. My compliments to the company for timely execution of the schedule including pick-up and drop-off. Same could be said for the hotel staff. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate booking another Viator listed tour.
This package included everything, and more, that I’d hoped to see. We were efficiently whisked from amazing site to amazing site and never had to fumble with tolls, parking places, making a wrong turn or closing times. Highly recommend to make the most out of a quick trip to the area!
Explore the landscapes of the Normandy and Brittany regions during a 2-day tour from Paris, including one night in Caen. Stroll the charming streets of Honfleur and Rouen. Pay your respects at WWII sites like the D-Day beaches of Normandy and the American Cemetery and Memorial. Walk through the historic walled city of Saint-Malo. Visit the surreal island of Mont-St-Michel, one of the country's most recognizable landmarks. Transport, meals, entry fees and overnight lodging are included.
One thing that you hear about the Louvre before you go there is the sheer enormity of the collection, and that can make the thought of taking children there overwhelming. This tour was perfect for making the museum's biggest treasures accessible to adults and children alike, and we are grateful to have found it. Agathe was a wonderful guide. She was prompt, engaging, and kept our 12- and 10-year-old sons interested and involved in everything we were seeing. It was especially nice to be able to go directly to the great works we wanted to see, and the background information -- both historical and artistic -- and depth of knowledge Agathe had were quite impressive. I recommend this tour to any families who want to see the Louvre in a way that everyone can get something out of it.
Get the whole family engaged in the treasures of the Louvre during this 1.5-, 2-, or 3-hour private tour. Tailor the itinerary to the needs of your family, depending on time available, ages and interests of the family members. Skip-the-line privileges ensure less waiting in long ticket lines.
Wonderful tour with a highly knowledgeable guide - David! We were, unfortunately, very limited in our time in Paris, so it was important to us to have a guide who could get us into the museum quickly and take us to see some of the pieces we considered highlights. David was perfect for the job. He knows a lot about the museum, the art and history. In addition, David took many photos and educated us on how to get the best lighting and angles of the art we photographed. Wonderful afternoon!
We had a wonderful private tour of the Louvre. Christophe, our guide, did an outstanding job. He is not only very knowledgeable about the museum, he also has an excellent way of explaining it. We needed wheelchair assistance for one of our group and he did a great job of arranging that and guiding us around the building.
Maximize your time at the Louvre with skip-the-line entrance and a private guided tour for you and your party. Take all the hassle out of exploring the world’s largest museum, as your guide whisks you to star attractions like the ‘Mona Lisa’, ‘Raft of the Medusa’ and ‘Venus de Milo’, and points out lesser-known gems among the vast exhibitions. Best of all: your private tour can be tailored to your preferences and you can stay at the museum as long as you like after the tour ends.

Excellent tour with a great guide
, Feb 2020
We selected two guided tours from Babylon tours; the first was at the Orsay Museum & the second was at the Louvre. We selected them separately, but scheduled them back to back on the same day.
From the start Babylon tours was nothing but professional. They sent a confirmation email (directly), later on an update with details on where to meet (photos included) with our tour guide's name and finally a reminder email the evening before. I was impressed with their attention to detail before our tours even started.
This was awesome, we had the same guide (Lucia) for both tours. We ended up walking together from the Orsay to the Louvre. Once again, probably since it was January and fairly cold outside, no one else had signed up for the museum tour...another private tour!
Once again the tour was great; Lucia was very knowledgeable about the sculptures, history and artwork. She has a small binder with additional reference material to share for some of the more well know pieces. The pacing of the tour was great, we took plenty of photos and had a great time. 2 1/2 hours is not even close enough to see everything, but it's a good start. We were told that at 3 minutes per piece of art, you would spend 3 months in the Louvre trying to see everything.
I would definitely recommend a guided tour if this is your first time visiting the museum. Babylon tours as a company was great to deal with and Lucia was an excellent guide and we enjoyed spending our day with her.
Glad we were able to skip the LONG lines. We were blessed with the best tour guide we have ever enjoyed with Lili Perovic. She was absolutely incredible, personable, funny and had an incredible depth of knowledge, She taught us things we would have never found in any book and made the art come to life. Awesome experience! We highly recommend this tour!!
Visiting the Louvre can be overwhelming for first-time visitors, so why not enjoy skip-the-line access and personal attention from your guide on a small-group tour? Journey through the history of art as you explore one of the world’s biggest and most famous museums on this 2.5-hour tour, with numbers limited to eight. See iconic works like the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa, discover little-known masterpieces, and learn how to distinguish different art styles and techniques. After your tour, spend as long as you want exploring the museum independently.
I chose this particular cruise because it advertised that it had audio headsets. I did not notice any (I stayed on the upper deck). They, however, had a sound system that announces just the main attraction as the boat passes them, but not much info. They also have an app you could use -- I did not know about this beforehand but just saw a sign when I was already on the boat. I was thus left with hardly any information on what these places and buildings were that we were passing. When I finally managed to get it, I heard mostly static.
I gave this four stars and not three because it is probably my fault that I did not find ways to know how to download the app beforehand.
In general, a great cruise and you get to see beautiful places even at night. As others have mentioned here on the review, if you go upstairs, you don't get the audioguide they offer. But you can use the audioguide through wifi in many languages, though it crashed some times.
Enjoy a leisurely trip down the Seine on this Bateaux Parisiens river cruise. Glide past Paris’ world-famous monuments including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower and historic bridges like the Pont Neuf. Listen to audio commentary along the way to learn more about passing attractions. Cruise during the day, or choose an evening departure time to float through the enchanting city at night. Either way, it’s a fantastic introduction to the highlights of Paris.

The line for w tickets or voucher was just as long as the line wo them. I liked having mmt tickets/ voucher in hand early bc things sell out. We did a day trip and the museum is a hot tourist spot. Very crowded but we enjoyed it.

This was a great tour! Easy riding, nice pace, saw some things I never knew about. Riding along the Seine and inside the Louvre courtyard was amazing. Our guide was fantastic. Friendly, warm, and made sure we were safe at some of the more hectic crossings. Highly recommend!

Paris is a magical city and this evening cruise was exceptional.
The lights, the sites, and the people are all lovely. The Eiffel tower glimmers and sparkles, the Seine cruise is romantic and soothing. Just being there and traveling through history, in a word Incredible.
Really organized guide. Night bus tour left at 11. We were not able to stay as the next day we had an amazing tour of Monet's House and Gardens, wonderful lunch and your of Versailles. Wish our bus tour could have been honored another night this week
Don’t miss the views of Paris from the Eiffel Tower at night, when the twinkling City of Light spreads before you. This evening combination package lets you experience Parisian monuments three enchanting ways: sightseeing by coach, cruising on the Seine River, and admission to the Eiffel Tower's first and second tiers. Orient yourself to top attractions like the Champs-Élysées, and Louvre Museum, and be part of Paris’ lively nighttime atmosphere.
What a wonder evening. This tour package better then I can express.
The driver was awesome. Picked us up at hotel and walked us through every step and made sure we were well taken care of. He was there to greet us after the show and walked us to the van. Leaving the show was super crowded and that was nice to have someone to show us the way.
Dinner on the cruise was way better then I expected and the show at the Moulin Rouge is definitely a must see. Quite an enjoyable evening!
Enjoy two iconic Parisian experiences during this evening tour that combines a dinner cruise on the Seine River with admission to the Moulin Rouge. First, see Paris sights like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral while enjoying a 3-course meal of French cuisine aboard a La Marina de Paris glass-enclosed boat. Then head to the Moulin Rouge in the Montmartre district for a performance of the show ‘Feerie,’ which includes a half bottle of Champagne per person. Hotel transport is included for your convenience.
Montmartre Walking Tour: Paris' Best Art, Culture and Food
Great tour with Hafid
, Jan 2020
Great fun! Hafid was very knowledgeable about the history and had some very helpful inside tips. We (the group) had a blast. Montmartre is incredibly beautiful and Hafid lifted the experience to the next level with all the stories and insights. Highly recommended.
Hafid was awesome!! The best tour guide I’ve ever had. His knowledge of Montmartre was interesting and kept our attention!! He allowed time for pictures. I never felt rushed! I highly recommend Hafid, he even emailed me recommendations for other tours!!! That was over the top!! Such good information!!! I wish I could have him for all of our tours in Paris!! I left with a smile on my face!! I had made a new friend!! Thank you Hafid!!!

We loved the illumination bus tour and the Seine river cruise! Even though it rained, the views (and pictures we got) were amazing. The tour is very well organized, the duration is perfect too. The place were we had to redeem our vouchers for tickets was easy to find.
The Seine River Cruise and bus tour was a great way to see Paris at night all lit up and beautiful. The bus tour provided some great information about some of the major tourist attractions. Definitely worth doing. The staff were very attentive and the nibbles were lovely and plentiful.
This tour is an absolute must do!!! The tour began just before sunset and finished at the Eiffel Tower with the tower floodlit and on the hour the 20,000 lights also blinked for 5 minutes making the tower appear to sparkle. A great way to see Paris illuminated and to relax whilst getting your bearings in the city.
Paris is fabulous any time of day, but to truly experience the City of Lights, you need to explore after dark. During this evening Paris and river tour, see illuminated attractions by both land and water, including the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe. Dinner and Show at the Paris Moulin Rouge with Transport
A fun night!
, Oct 2019
We signed up for transportation to and from a central location. the bur ride to Moulin Rouge was very nice. We waited outside for a few minutes before we were brought into the center. Once inside, we were not able to select our seats but rather were directed as to where to sit. We were close to the stage which was nice. Before dinner was served, various singers entertained us. They invited people to come to the dance floor to dance but it was impossible to get there unless you were seated close to it.
Dinner and the wine provided were fair. Neither of us liked the appetizer. You had a choice of chicken or fish for dinner which was fair. The wine included in the package was not good. dessert was okay.
You can not take pictures during the show so if you want some memorable buy one of the souvenir books before the show. The show was wonderful and exactly what we were hoping for! The dancers were fantastic although clad with varying amount of dress. There were many bare breasted women during the show. The men were good dancers too. There were many dances including what could be considered a traditional can-can.
When they sat you will be dropped out in central Paris, they mean it. It would have been better to have been taken back to the ticketing center. We were able to catch a taxi back to where we were staying.
Spend an evening at the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris, where you enjoy a 3-course dinner with wine before watching the show ‘Feerie.’ Dine on quintessential French dishes then see dancers on stage perform the famous cancan. Transportation by coach is included from central Paris up to the bohemian Montmartre district. The Moulin Rouge dress code is elegant, so dress to impress!
Skip the Line: Giverny and Monet House Half-Day Trip from Paris
Easiest, fastest, best way to visit Giverney
, Oct 2019
I’ve visited Giverney on my own before from Paris : subway, train, bus, walking. This experience was so much less taxing, and enriching. Our guide gave us nearly an hour of history and context on the journey. He walked us right to the entrance and through, skipping any line. Our orientation to the garden was quick and clear, leaving us time to see and explore and photograph alone. We left on time and returned exactly on time. I brought my mom, who thoroughly enjoyed and could not have done the more rigorous way.
The bus was very comfortable and the guides gave us interesting information along the way. Once we arrived the guided tour was amazing! Lots of good information from our guide and the opportunity to take as many pictures as we liked. He also gave us information on things to see in the village after the house tour. I would do this tour again!
If you don’t want to spend an entire day and want to experience a visit - this is a perfect tour - not rushed and you have plenty of time to enjoy the gardens - just plan accordingly if going during peak season.
Fans of French Impressionism don’t want to miss this half-day trip by luxury coach to the village of Giverny, where Claude Monet and other artists lived and painted. Enjoy priority access to Monet's exquisite 19th-century home, then, with an art historian as your guide, tour the flowerbeds, Japanese bridge, and water lily pond that served as inspiration for Monet's paintings, including the Nymphéas series.
This tour was so much fun. Our guide, Dan, was very fun, knowledgeable and organized. I would definitely recommend this tour it was the highlight of my trip to Paris. I almost cancelled Bc I got lazy a few days before, but I’m really glad I went.
I would definitely do this tour again next time I’m back in France.
Experience the magnificence of Versailles on a fun full-day bike tour, including round-trip transfers by train from Paris. Meet your guide on arrival and spend the day pedaling around the beautiful parks, royal gardens, and forest trails. Richard from the UK was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and simultaneously entertaining. He ensured our safety and took us thru the key highlights of Paris. Great tour, easy to hear thru headsets. Would definitely take the tour again!
Our guide Eugenia was amazing. Had a very fun way of narrating the historical events. Her instructions on biking in those busy streets were effective and held the pack together. What a way to see the streets of Paris on a bike. A must do thing in Paris

Louvre Museum Guided Tour in English (Small Group 6 max)
Great highlight tour
, Jan 2020
Excelelent introduction to lourve.
We came in January and it was just us on the tour. Went via the group line which was short and entered the museum early.
Our guide was very informative and friendly and we saw the highlights.
At the end of the short tour our guide pointed us in the direction of other areas which interested us (Mesopotamia) and left us to explore. Overall very good
Our guy was very informative and friendly. She has very good knowledge of things in the louvre. The tour was easy paced. Even though it was only an hour and a half we saw and understood some of the key pieces in the museum.
G’day from Australia I booked this tour online not knowing what to expect, it was Very good, our tour guide spoke perfect English, very knowledgeable & pleasant experience, but at times felt a little too rushed through the museum, if you have mobility issues or walk slow maybe consider another tour as it’s quite fast paced. The small group was excellent as we were able to hear clearly. Only thing I would add would be a longer tour but still a small group of 6 as there is so much to see. Thank you!! 😁
See the world-class treasures of Paris’s Louvre Museum on a 2-hour guided tour. Group size is limited to six people for a more intimate tour.
Paris Shuttle Departure Transfer: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Meet up call
, Feb 2020
i recommended to have a fixed meeting time or any pre-call for customer because when i get the call, the driver is waiting at the hotel lobby (more than 4 hrs before my flight) which this is absolutely unreasonable, i only to do to pack everything in mess and get down to the lobby within 10 mins which I won't let the driver to wait so long, i can't imagine if this happening to a family with children.
When it’s time to say goodbye to Paris, end your trip the easy way with this shared departure transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport. It’s a wallet-friendly alternative to the pricey private taxi rides. Transfer services are available from centrally located Paris hotels with a postcode starting with 75 and apply to flights departing between 4am and 11pm.
I think it was very expensive for what it was. Seats and personal space were crowded, couldn’t buy a drink easily. Felt pushed into the corner. Show itself was pretty good, few more men in it would have been nice! Just felt needed a bit more comfort but felt perched on a small seat !
The girls all look like Victoria secret models , the way the lights get used to make it artsy on their bodies is innovative. There were a couple of numbers that we loved but some numbers were very slow or “sexy”, for instance it’s just a girl sitting or standing and the lights would make different Pieces of lingerie on her body. Our favorite part was a man dancing to different tunes depending on what hat he took out of the bag. He was funny and does great Michael Jackson moves. Would I go see this again? No. Would I recommend? Yes, but I’d suggest Lido or moulan rouge before this one.
Celebrate 65 years of folly and glamour at Crazy Horse Paris with its new show, Totally Crazy. The Musée du Louvre, perhaps the most famous art museum in the world, as well as the biggest, can be overwhelming for both first-time and repeat visitors, with its maze of galleries and thousands of works. Entrance fee is not included, but skip-the-line access is provided with your guide.
Small-Group Loire Valley Three Top Castles Day Trip with Wine Tasting
, Dec 2019
My partner and I reserved this small-group day trip to Loire Valley to visit three castles and I can't stress enough how amazing this tour was! We were met at the pick-up spot right on time in a small passenger van that held 8 people, and after a 2 hour ride south, we arrived at our first castle. We were the first visitors there and it almost felt like a private tour, which was extremely pleasant. We were also given tablets that we can use in just about each room that would transport our view to what these rooms looked like back in those times...augmented reality at its finest! Since this was the biggest castle of the 3, we were given plenty of time to explore on our own without feeling rushed. The second castle was less than an hour away and the ride to the castle was amazing as we traveled through the French countryside. The 2nd caste, Chenonceaux was our favorite! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the fact that there were very few visitors was a plus as we got some really amazing pictures. Our tour guide gave us the best tip, which was to walk through the gardens on the way to the castle rather than heading down the main path and boy was she right! The experience was definitely worth it. Lastly, we headed to Amboise castle a few minutes away in a quaint little French village, where we had lunch at a local restaurant (there are many to chose from) before visiting the castle and Leonardo DaVinci's grave. The only thing I would change on the tour is the wine tasting. It was held at a wine shop in the village and would much rather have gone to a winery for the tasting.
All in all, our tour guide was amazing and very down to earth. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and it is much more enjoyable than doing a larger group tour. Next time I go back to France, I will check out this tour companies other small group tours like the champagne tours.
My mum and I went on this tour on 03 Dec 19. It was fantastic! Highly highly recommend paying a little bit more to do this smaller group tour. We saw other tours with huge bus loads of people, which I’m sure are still good, but looked nowhere near as enjoyable or comfortable as ours did. It was just us and another two ladies who had booked individually. Our guide Antoine was amazing (and a great driver!) and never made us feel rushed. Better yet, there was no risk of being left behind! Thanks Antoine and Olivia :)
A fun day visiting 3 chateaux in the Loire Valley with a little wine tasting thrown in. Long drive out of Paris but our driver/guide Hanna kept us informed and laughing. Background discussions outside each location with time on our own to explore inside. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who hasn't been.
Stroll through the châteaux of Chenonceau, Chambord, and Amboise on this full-day tour from Paris to the UNESCO-listed Loire Valley. Admire Chenonceau’s amazing floral gardens, and marvel at the sheer grandeur of Chambord, the largest chateau in the valley. At Amboise, see the quarters of King Francois I and the tomb of Leonardo Da Vinci. Learn from an informative guide about each site, and fit in souvenir shopping along the way.
We had a great time cooking quail, potatoes, and chocolate lava cake with the chef. He provided an intimate environment to learn about French cooking and everyone in our group seemed to have a fantastic time.
We had a blast cooking with Chef Myriam! . Would highly recommend doing this. The food we cooked was amazing and the experience was on a personal level. Cannot wait to do it again. Not to mention the views from the apartment were gorgeous. Definitely a MUST!
Get the authentic French culinary experience with a small-group cooking class in a private Parisian apartment. Head to the centrally-located home and get ready to learn — and eat!
