This culinary tour of Turin is perfect for the gourmand! In groups of at least twelve people, you will, over the course of four hours, have the chance to sample a variety of local delicacies in several locations. Your experienced guide will meet you at the Porta Palatina, before leading you to the Porta Palazzo – Europe’s largest open-air food market. Here you will try a variety of cheeses and seasonal fruits.Next, you will head to a local restaurant in the Roman Quadrilateral for lunch; Agnolotti – a pasta speciality of the Piedmont region - washed down with a glass of local Barolo wine. After lunch you’ll head to the Consolata church; just in front you’ll see the Bicerin café. Here you can taste the soft drink of that name – a blend of coffee, milk and chocolate - in the place it was born!Finally, you will walk along Via Garibaldi to view the beautiful façade of Palazzo Carignano, as well as have a taste of the Pinguino ice-cream, where it was invented!
