Ostrog Monastery is situated against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda, in Montenegro. It consists of two parts - the Upper and Lower Monasteries. We will visit both parts.Rijeka Crnojevica, the small town on the same river is one of the most beautiful small towns in Montenegro. It is a very beautiful little historical place, in the central part of Montenegro. The road to the town, via Pavlova Strana, will show you a breathtaking view of the river Crnojevic and hills.

They also produce (and sell) donkey milk, said to be incredibly therapeutic. It's a wonderful, non-exploitative place for animal lovers and families; the donkeys are used to small children. Reservation is necessary before visiting, and though it's free to enter, visitors should take appropriate treats (apples or carrots) for the star attractions. You will also visit a donkey museum which is located in farm area.
