This was exactly what we were looking for. We were picked up in a van from our hotel and began exploring the coast. We had about 1 hour and 15 minutes self exploration time within each town of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello which I initially did not think would be enough time although it was plenty. Lunch was mediocre although the company was great. Would book with this company again.
We had a delightful day with our guide/driver Antonio and six other fun guests during our recent Amalfi Coast Tour. It was just the right number. Antonio was a great driver handling the crazy driving along the Amalfi Coast with ease. He was informative, funny and charming. We couldn't have had a better guide. We expected a pizza lunch - not the delicious three course meal we were served. We'd recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit the Amalfi Coast - see if you can get Antonio!
See the best the Amalfi Coast has to offer with an 8-hour small-group minivan tour of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello from Sorrento. Enjoy free time at each stop to explore at your own pace. Take a midday lunch break at a trattoria with a view (included) to enjoy pizza, pasta or salad along with a beverage.
This was one of my favorite experiences in Italy! The Pompeii archeological site was really cool and well preserved. The climb to Mount Vesivius is pretty intense but definitely worth it to see the scenery on top. Definitely recommend!
Pompeii is one of the world’s most fascinating archaeological sites, but getting there—especially from Positano—is no easy task. Simplify your trip during this full-day guided tour, which includes VIP pickup by comfortable, climate-controlled minibus. Enjoy enriching commentary on the mysterious ancient town, preserved by volcanic ash for almost two thousand years. You’ll also visit the infamous crater itself, where you can peer into the rim.
Totally recommend this tour. The tour guide Frank from Goodheart Limos was super nice, patient, informative and drove us to Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano making the appropriate stops and showed us and explained us the best of the area. Loved the experience!!!
Our group was three of us: me and my wife and our 20 year-old daughter in early Dec 2019. Frank was tremendous! Every part of the experience was top-notch, and Frank made the process easy! He accommodated our pick-up location at Napoli Centrale station, helped line up a tour guide at Pompeii (for us it was Sasha, who was also fun and excellent), and set up a wine-tasting and lunch at a great family winery on the side of Mt. Vesuvius. The information and humor Frank provided on the drive (and stops) along the Amalfi Coast absolutely made the trip special. We had some freedom to explore Positano, Amalfi and Ravello while Frank waited for our return. We did our trip in December, so we ran out of daylight about the time we got to Scala (plus side is that there is no where near the traffic or people as there is in the summer months), but even then the view was spectacular when we came over the Milky Mountains and saw the lights from Naples, Pompeii, etc, all wrapped around the base of Mt. Vesuvius. Definitely a "Wow!" moment in a day that was full of them. Thank you to Frank (and Sasha and the folks at Cantina Del Vesuvio) for creating a wonderful experience and providing great conversation and tons of information about every place we visited for our small group! We felt like we had known Frank for years! I would jump at the chance to do a tour with Frank again if the opportunity is there for us in the future. Hopefully, it will be!
Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast are two must-sees, but visiting means facing the area’s challenging roads or overcrowded public transportation. Instead, enjoy these two highlights stress-free with this private driving tour that includes a flexible pickup location and time. Stop in Pompeii to explore on your own before continuing on to the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy free time in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello plus plenty of photo ops along the drive.
Capri Island small group Day Tour by Boat from Sorrento
What a blast!
, Sep 2019
This tour was amazing. We had such fun on the boat and the guide was very informative. They brought us sandwiches, beer, soda and water. They made stops so we could swim and we had plenty of time to explore Capri. High recommend this tour!
Visit the Italian island of Capri on a day trip from Sorrento. After traveling by boat across the Tyrrhenian Sea, cruise around the island to see sights from the water, such as the Faraglioni rocks and the Bay of Marina Piccola. Then spend time on the island to walk along the streets and enjoy a traditional lunch. This small-group tour is limited to 12 people.
Our guide throughout the day (Mama Lucia) was wonderful and knowledgeable but the technology used at Pompeii was inadequate. If we were more than 3metres away from her (even in direct line of sight) the audio would crackle and then fail. And with a large group (by itself no problem) its not possible to always be within 3m. The rest of the day was wonderful, driver was great and it all went as expected.
Explore a famous ancient city and the infamous volcano that buried it with this full-day tour of Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius from Amalfi. Travel by luxury coach and listen to commentary from your guide as you first explore Pompeii's ash-covered remnants, before a drive and walk to the summit of the volcano. Finish the tour with a visit to a cameo and coral factory to see how cameos are produced.

Take in the views at the botanical gardens. Then enjoy a cruise around the island to see the grottos and listen to a little Dino. And you get to swim in the sea.

Very well organized and our driver Rino could not have been more accommodating. He was professional and very knowledgeable of the arrears we visited. He made modifications to our trip based on the weather conditions ensuring we had an enjoyable day. The tour of Pompeii was amazing, our guide opened our eyes to many things we were not aware of. The winery tour was very good as well, their olives were amazing to eat ant the spicy bread was spectacular.
The visit to Pompeii, despite the oppressive heat and crowds was informative and educational. 1 hour 45 minute tour went by quickly. I could have spent more time there. The visit to the vineyard was fabulous. Lunch was out of the world good and we bought some bottles of wine and shipped home. Vesuvius was a bit of a disappointment. Took a while, long climb and visibility was nil. I guess if it was a clear day it might be worth it but would rather have had that time at Pompeii.

Amalfi, Positano & Ravello small group tour from Sorrento with lunch
Amalfi Coast Small Group Tour
, Oct 2019
Fabio was our driver. He did an excellent job. We went to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Those sites are beautiful. We stopped in Scalo for lunch. The place we had lunch was beautiful. Unfortunately the food did not measure up to the beauty of the site. The food was not served hot. It was luke warm. It must have been sitting outside the ovens for awhile before being served. This was a small group tour and the other folks on the tour were nice to spend time with.

AMALFI COAST DRIVE EXCLUSIVE WITH POSITANO VISIT FD- from Sorrento
, Sep 2019
these places are a must to visit - they are incredible, however found a few things very annoying on this trip, we were picked up from meeting point, nearly an hour later, after waiting at various pick up points for ages we went past the same place we had been picked up from. the microphone on the bus was very screechy, and photos through the windows did not come out well due to the type of windows, and apart from the main towns it didnt stop anywhere else for photos.

From $276.06 (Price varies by group size )
Family Vineyard vs Business Vineyard
, Oct 2019
First vineyard was small family owned and provided a personal experience! Mama cooked wonderful food!! 2nd vineyard runs like a business and we felt like a burden to owner for tour. Tour guide purpose??? Not sure we needed her
The steeply terraced vineyards of Irpinia region produce some of southern Italy’s most acclaimed wine. Wend your way through vineyards and age-old cellars, see production in progress, and enjoy two tastings with up to six different varietals of wine.
11 strangers met, got on a boat a d had a blast! Our skipper, Alessandro (alex) was adorable and very accommodating. He had at least 3 or 4 bottles of prosecco, plenty of water, beer and made us a delicious bruschetta snack! We stopped at the restaurant on the water of capri "da gioia" (instead of splitting 100 euros for a docking fee to then figure out where else to go). We enjoyed our time at the restaurant enough that we stayed there for 3 hrs! Even grabbed dinner as a group when it was all over. Worth the value, highly reccomend.
Climb aboard a boat and venture off to explore the stunning island of Capri on this small-group tour. Spend the day swimming in the crystal clear waters, soaking up the Mediterranean sun, and exploring small caves, grottoes, and villages. Sip on complimentary drinks and enjoy a few nibbles while you sail along the Italian coast.
The boat trip was amazing! But, since we stayed in Positano, Capri itself was a bit of a let down in comparison - WAY to crowded to enjoy anything. Do yourself a favor - stay down by the beach or go up for the view - but skip the shopping chaos in the city center.
Capri is one of the most popular day trips from the Amalfi Coast, but reaching the island by ferry means dealing with crowds and timetables. My wife and I did half-day Ancient Pompeii Tour with Viator, leaving from Praiano cost way $188 plus $30 entrance fee (Australian Dollars)
The tour guide was excellent the knowledge he had regarding Pompeii was amazing. He also showed us things which we would have missed if we by just walking through the streets.
This well-preserved slice of ancient life, where you can walk down Roman streets and snoop around temples, shops, cafes, amphitheatres and even a brothel.
Don’t take the tour from Amalfi coast as the roads are so small and traffic is absolutely crazy it takes a lot longer to get there

The staff was gracious, funny and accommodating. Amalfi was first stop and it is magnificent. The tour gave us time to explore but
we chose to chilling at the beach and enjoying the blue waters. Afterwards we took a ride to Positano which we had a good amount of time there also.
We were given some swim time which was alot of fun. Great tour well worth the money. Highly recommended.
Our Captain and Mate of the Sasima were outstanding in their professionalism & friendliness. They knew much information about our surroundings and took great care of our family and others on board. We had the time of our lives!

Semi-Private: Discover Sorrento and Capri - from Positano
Great but disorganized
, Aug 2019
Our tour didn't start off well when our driver was 30 minutes late picking us up. Once we arrived in Sorrento (you really only drive to it, not sure why the tour is labeled "discover sorrento") there were multiple large groups of people that had been dropped off at the same location. None of us were given any information as to where to go next or what was happening. Everything about finding our boat and our skipper was given to us by other tourists who had been waiting around for hours for their own boat. Once on the boat the trip was enjoyable, though the tour guide was barely audible when pointing out places along the way. Overall it was a good trip but the tour company itself was very disorganized.

Sorrento, Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Trip-Prime Experience with max. 7 guests
Perfect day trip to Capri
, Nov 2019
This day trip was the perfect way to experience Capri! We were picked up very close to our hotel and taken to the marina. FYI that there is a short walk from the bus drop-off point. It is not far or difficult, but also not something that was advertised, so most of the group was surprised at this part. Once we got to the marina, we were taken to our boat, which was very nice. There were only 6 people in our group on the boat tour, so it really did feel like almost a private trip. We were taken around the entire island on the boat and made stops at all of the major spots. Our skipper, Tomasa, was wonderful. He explained the history of the island and the importance of each of the stops we were shown. We did have the option to stop at the Blue Grotto, but we did not feel like it was worth it, as the entrance to the Blue Grotto is extra and controlled by a different group. Our guide took us to another grotto that was completely private and had the same water coloring as the Blue Grotto, and we had the chance to swim there. Then we had a few hours to explore Capri, and then headed home. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this tour!
Sorrento, Capri and Blue Grotto Boat Trip-Prime Experience
, Oct 2019
Excellent day trip. Boat ride was the highlight of the day. Beautiful scenery. Total of 3 couples on the craft gave us plenty of room. Got us to the Blue Grotto early with very little time waiting to get in.
Our captain, Federico provided our group with a full day of fun. Our group of 8 became fast friends while touring the areas around Capri, swimming in the sea, stopping at the blue grotto, and just taking in the beautiful scenery. The tour included wine, beer, and snacks. Our expectations were exceeded, thanks to Federico's expert tour guidance and boating skills. He played great music and told us everything we needed to know about the area. Everyone on our trip had an amazing time! This was the highlight of our trip!!
