What a wonderful private walking tour if Prague we had. Pavel met us at our hotel..6 adults, 4 children under 5 in double strollers. He navigated us around the city like a champ! Over and under bridges, onto the tram, through the castle and cathedrals we went. Along the way, he expertly educated us on the history of the country, the intricacies if the sights and a worldview from a native Czech. From 1 year old to 62, we were all amazed, amused and entertained. May you be so lucky!

Winter Charm of Prague - private tour with PERSONAL PRAGUE GUIDE
Winter Magic in Prague
, Dec 2019
Our guide, Tereza Polakova, was fantastic. She met us at our hotel, The Carlo IV, which is conveniently located close to all the major attractions within easy walking distance. It was our first day/time in Prague and she assisted us in changing dollars for ck, she went slowly at our pace (my husband is 73 and can't walk fast), she stopped at each major attraction to provide historic information and answer questions we had, she even timed our walk to coincide with the noontime show at the Astronomical Clock! Her English was excellent and she was clever in avoiding the tourist crowds. She knew the best vantage points for each attraction so our views were unencumbered by the many tourist visiting this time of year. She provided us a great orientation to Prague so we were entirely comfortable walking and touring on our own the remainder of our visit.
Andrew was a great driver/guide. He made the stretches in the car enjoyable and the time quickly! The tour itself was great-Hallstatt was beautiful even in the rain. Then on to Salzburg which was perfect. We spent 3 hours touring and the restaurant recommendation of St. Peter’s was amazing. The town at Christmas is stunning. Overall a great day trip from Vienna-highly recommend it!!

Private Half-Day Tour From Prague To Terezín Concentration Camp
Exceptional tour of Terezin
, Dec 2019
Our group of 4 toured Terezin on a Sunday from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. We coordinated our pick-up to be at the hotel and our drop-off by the Church of St. Nicholas in the Mala Strana district of Prague. Our pick-up was on time and the ride to Terezin extremely comfortable in a new Mercedes van. Jan (John) was our tour guide and gave great historical information about the countryside and events in Prague as we traveled the 30-minutes to Terezin. He was friendly, informative and managed our time efficiently. I felt like getting there early provided us with a more personal tour before the busses of other tours arrived. I would highly recommend doing Terezin as a small group with Lucy Tours as it was more personal and we saw more than others on the large tour bus. The experience of standing in such a place is hard to put in words and the horrors of this camp are apparent during the visit. I’ve read before that to forget the atrocities of the Holocaust is to live it twice. So by learning about the history of the concentration camp and those who were killed there, their memories will love on forever. Jan was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable in the Terezin history and at the conclusion of the tour he gave us lunch recommendations. We decided to eat at Malostranska Beseda, which was amazingly delicious!!

Bara went above and beyond during the tour she gave us of the Jewish Quarter. She was so knowledgeable and so accommodating during the tour. Our son is spending the semester in Prague for NYU and had a ton of questions that Bara was able to answer. She really went out of her way to give us suggestions on other sites to see, restaurants and shopping. Overall, we learned a ton of information about Prague and it's rich history and culture. Thank you Bara!!!!

Michael was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable and personable. He made the trip unforgettable. The car was very comfortable. Michael pointed out very interesting sites as we drove from Prague. He parked to places included in the tour. He made several stops so we could enjoy shops and tasty treats. He thoroughly explained the history of the town and pointed out interesting aspects of some of the churches we visited. The lunch was delicious and the restaurant was perfect.
We had read about the Ossuary and after seeing a few pictures, concluded we had to visit. It was absolutely worth it as pictures don't do it justice. We booked a private tour with Michel Stanislav who met us at our hotel for the drive. He is an engaging young man who talked freely about his country and family, even sharing a picture of his wife and infant son. He made the trip a memorable experience. St. Barbara's church is spectacular.

A great way to see Prague with an amazing tour guide
, Aug 2019
Thomas was a Prague native and knew exactly where to go. He was ecstatic about photography and did very well with my teenage kids. He also greatly enjoyed the technology I brought with me – sometimes I think he liked my camera and the camera on my phone more than I did. He had great energy and this excursion was the highlight of our time in Prague. It was not super fast-paced; we took time to stop at a restaurant for food and drinks midway through the tour.
Take a guided walk around Prague at night while learning photography tips from a professional photographer. Stroll the streets of Prague learning about where the best angles are in the city for taking pictures and find out about new techniques for taking photos at night.

The private transfers to and from the event were on time and comfortable. The food at the event was tasty and portions were generous, as was the quantity of drink offered. The entertainment was excellent and the singer and band were talented and versatile. There was a good level of audience participation.
Enjoyed this evening spent with local food, dance and music. Transportation provided worked perfectly and we had the pleasure of meeting other travelers who sat at our table which added to the great night.
