Small-Group Prague City Walking Tour Including Vltava River Cruise and Lunch
A must tour to get to know Prague
, Feb 2020
I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was Petr and he was excellent. Knowledgeable and friendly, everything you would want in a guide. We only had a party of 6 which was great as much more personable. We got to see many of the sites and Petr explained their relevance without going over the top with too much info that some guides do. We stopped off for a snack (included in the price), a boat ride with a drink (I had the hot wine that was delicious), a tram ride and lunch. We ran over time but Petr just carried on and made sure we were well looked after. He even sent us an e-mail after the tour giving us some hints and tips on things to do. Thanks Petr you made our visit to Prague that extra special.
A very good way to see, and maybe better understand, Praha!

This is a very good way to see, and maybe better understand, Praha! The guide
Michaela Tseneva was very knowledgeable. She gave us the right amount of information. And was always able to answer our questions. This is important, but she also had so much positive energy that we enjoyed the rather long (about 6 hours) tour until the end. The tour is balanced, walking, tram, break, lunch, boat with snacks. Good value for the money. We were lucky with the weather, cold but sunshine. I also enjoyed the company of the rather small group.
Tour was most enjoyable and our host was friendly, funny and kept us moving at a good pace. He stopped off for a little mid walk break and bought us a traditional Czech breakfast to taste, not part of official tour so I think a great touch.
Experience Prague’s historical highlights by foot and riverboat in one enjoyable city tour. Explore must-sees such as Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and the Jewish Quarter as your guide recounts their histories, and savor a hearty Czech lunch at an Old Town restaurant. Afterward, admire sights such as the Charles Bridge on a Vltava River cruise, complete with a complimentary drink. Finish with a tour of St Vitus Cathedral, the Gothic showpiece of Prague Castle. Numbers are limited to 12 on this small-group tour for a more personalized experience.
Other than a slight delay in getting drinks once we arrived this was an amazing evening
Plenty of entertainment and drink and for a mass banquet style meal it was very good
I would suggest two meeting places as we walked through the old square to the Charles iv meeting place and then walked back
With better organisation this could be so much better

It was a good experience but could have been so much better. Probably still worth going if you don't mind the negatives. The first issue is that you meet about 10/15 minutes walk away from the venue. Not sure why the meeting place can't be closer. It wasn't a great walk for us because it was pouring down with rain. Next issue is that once you are at the venue you then need to queue. We queued for over 30 minutes before we got seated. Our invoice said we would get a welcome drink but we didn't. Once seated you sit next to other guests in long tables which is OK apart from the fact that they squash you in. We got lucky because a couple didn't turn up so we managed to have some space. You have a choice of beer or wine or soft drinks. The beer flowed quite well and my partner got her drink almost as soon as she sat down, but the wine not so much. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes before I got a drink and then had to keep flagging the waitress each time I wanted another wine. The entertainment was OK, but if like me you are seated with your back to the floor you will have restricted view unless you can turn your head 180 degrees. The food was OK. A bit basic but edible. It's 5 courses but don't get too excited about the last one. Overall I've given it 3 stars because the food and entertainment were OK.
The plave and the show are amazing which makes the experiente worth it. The food was very poor and with no explanatión of what we were eating. The wine was awful. But in the total and because of the show it was worth it.
Immerse yourself in the romance of medieval times with a 3-hour dining experience in Prague. Leave the modern world behind as you step into a candle-lit tavern, and kick off the evening with a mug of beer or glass of wine. Sit down to five generous courses of medieval food, as jugglers take the stage alongside belly dancers and swordsmen. Lose yourself in the music and fun, and meet vivid characters that range from a frightening executioner to an old fortuneteller with magical powers.
I was quite worried that I would not physically fit enough to do this hike, but it was totally manageable. I would describe it as an easy to moderate hike that’s well paced and the trail was well groomed. Our tour guide Janca was wonderful.
There were 6 of us which was a great sized group. More than that would have been uncomfortable in the van.
Experience some of Czechia's and Germany's top scenery in one day on this tour from Prague. In the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, discover the village of Hrensko and Pravcicka Gate—Europe's biggest natural arch—and ride a gondola-style boat on the Kamenice Gorge. Then, admire the natural wonder of Bastei Bridge in Germany's Saxon Switzerland National Park. Choose from various tour options, with lunch and hotel pickup and drop-off included.
Informative, grim, comprehensive. Hit the right note.

Begins the whole sad history of the setting (fort and town) from its founding in 1780' and it's various uses since then, incl. of course, by the Nazis. . The tour guides, both the main guide - who is with us through most of the tour, starting and ending in Prague, and the local Terezin guide, were articulate, responsive, knowledgeable, and - as stated in the title above - hit the 'right note' (my opinion), which must be very much a challenge considering the grimness of the matter.
Take in a poignant piece of World War II history on this half day tour of Terezin Concentration Camp from Prague. Led by an expert guide, learn the history behind one of the largest camps in the Czech Republic and preserve the stories of the lives lost. See the complex as well as the Terezin Memorial, the only institution of its kind in the country. Your tour will conclude with transportation back to Prague.
Cannot recommend this enough! All corners of Czech food and drink are covered from beer and bar snacks to local wine/gin and entrees at a Michelin starred restaurant. Karolina is an exceptional host, she'll take great care of you.
Ever since we started the first food tours in Prague back in 2011, the idea has been simple. We take you to places you would not have found by yourself. We carefully choose delicious, authentic dishes and drinks you should not miss. And in the meantime we tell you things you could not google.
We could go on through all the clichés. (Off the beaten path, traditions passed from generation to generation, hidden corners, and seasonal organic produce from local farmers? Check!) But the basic fact is that we run this on empathy. We know how precious your vacation time is, so we will not waste it on second-rate food or experience. We will treat your vacation and trip to Prague as if it were our own.
So if you want to spend a few hours in the company of well-traveled locals who will serve you must-try foods and drinks and will not resort to tourist clichés because simply our conscience would not let us (and our Czech friends and would eat us alive for it), we'll be happy to have you.
Simon BEST GUIDE ever! He knew so much and gave us a lot of information, plus he knew the best spots for coffee or to buy crystal souvenirs ❤️ For sure we recommend him to anyone! He talked so many languages and his Spanish was amazing !
Be seduced by the historical monuments and medieval charm of Prague on a half-day tour of the Czech capital. Listen to illuminating commentary from a guide as you gaze at UNESCO-listed monuments from an air-conditioned coach. Discover the ancient majesty of Prague Castle on a guided tour; cruise the Vltava River and enjoy panoramic city views from the boat's top deck; and conclude by exploring the ambient tangle of Prague’s Old Town, home to the famous Astronomical Clock.
Our tour guide Alice was exceptional. While fighting a cold, she was energetic, informative and fun. Prague Castle is a must-see adventure. The river tour offered an excellent vantage point to see Prague.
Initial tour of city was not good. We were crammed into the back of a small van. We could not hear our tour guide as he took us on “rapid-fire” drive through Prague. It did get much better, however, on the walking tour. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable & light-hearted. Lunch provided was very good.
Discover Prague on a comprehensive full-day tour, including lunch and a relaxing Vltava River cruise. With a guide, enjoy a panoramic city coach tour and a walking tour around the exterior of UNESCO-listed Prague Castle. Savor a 3-course lunch at a luxury restaurant and later, take a leisurely sightseeing cruise, passing the Charles Bridge as you enjoy complimentary refreshments. Lastly, stroll around the Jewish Quarter and Old Town to see more highlights.
What a wonderful private walking tour if Prague we had. Pavel met us at our hotel..6 adults, 4 children under 5 in double strollers. He navigated us around the city like a champ! Over and under bridges, onto the tram, through the castle and cathedrals we went. Along the way, he expertly educated us on the history of the country, the intricacies if the sights and a worldview from a native Czech. From 1 year old to 62, we were all amazed, amused and entertained. May you be so lucky!
Explore Prague your way with this private tour that gives you the option of walking through the narrow streets or traveling by private car. With a guide, check out the city’s main attractions—from Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral to the Jewish Quarter, Old Town and Charles Bridge—and follow the Royal Way, a route used during coronations of Bohemian kings.
We immensely enjoyed this dinner cruise. It started on time, and both food and service were excellent. If there is one area for improvement, I hope that the city could put more lighting on the attractions by the river. Otherwise, we had a very good evening.
We attended this dinner cruise on a chilly evening in October. Our table setting was beautiful, and our location in the front was wonderful. Our waiter was extremely attentive, professional and welcoming. The food was delicious! Our only real complaint was that 3 hours is entirely too long for a *cruise* that was limited to a small section of the river. You see everything once, and that is enough, yet there is much idling at the locks, etc. Perhaps the price needs to be adjusted and the dinner cruise (at least in the colder months, can't really enjoy the outside upper deck) could be 2 hours. Also, I hate to say that while the piano player was talented, it was much too loud and we would have preferred it to be background music so that conversation could be facilitated.
My Husband and I aren't "foodies" so we didn't seek out high end dining while in Prague. To avoid our nightly quest for a dinner location I booked this cruise. Seeing Prague at night while cruising on the river was magical. The service was excellent. The food was good. This isn't a fine dining/gourmet experience for example we both ordered the steak option which was two top sirloin cutlets about 3/4" thick. We ordered medium and for each of us one was prepared perfectly, the other well done. The steak prepared properly was very good, the other one not so much. I think the trip was as described, but based on my experience and expectations not "gourmet" food so this is why I rated a 4 rather than 5.
Savor a gourmet meal served with a view you won't find in any restaurant on this Prague dinner cruise. Float down the Vltava River past illuminated landmarks like the Charles Bridge, National Theater, and Prague Castle, all the while enjoying a delicious 3-course meal at your private table. A welcome glass of sparkling champagne and live piano music help set the scene for a romantic and memorable voyage through one of Europe's great capitals.

Martin was really great. He picked me up right from my AirBNB so I did not have to find a meeting point or anything for the tour. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave all of us an overview of what was included and what to expect. The views were absolutely beautiful even though it was a little foggy that day (but it is expected for January). It was the best thing I could have done to end my vacation. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves hiking.
Wow, what a great trip ... fantastic scenery, and an amazing guide!
, Nov 2019
We were comfortably transported from our hotel in Prague to hike locations on both the Czech and German sides of the border. The Tiske Walls and the Bastei Bridge really have to be experienced up-close to be appreciated. The chilly weather allowed us to experience the park without the crowds, and our knowledgeable guide, Marek, pampered us with a thermos of warm mulled wine, and a sumptuous lunch in Hrensko.
Immerse yourself in the nature of Northern Bohemia on this day trip to Bohemian Switzerland National Park. This small-group tour takes you south of Prague to the border of the Czech Republic and Germany and puts you smack in the middle of Central Europe's most beautiful landscapes. Sail on a gondola-style boat down the river, walk along the Elbe River and gawk at the views offered by The Bastei rock formation.
This is a must do!! The guide was very knowledgeable and shared many details you just don’t get on most tours. The car was quite comfortable and the driver was great. Absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Prague.
Maximize your time in Prague with a private guide, a driver at your disposal, and a full-day tour custom-made for you. Explore the world’s largest castle complex, including Prague Castle, the St. Vitus Cathedral, and the Golden Lane; admire the distinctive landmarks of Prague’s Old Town; and pose for photos on the famous Charles Bridge.
Great experience! We stopped at 4 different bars (one microbrewery) and enjoyed various local beers and Czech food dishes. During this time our guide Tomas provided a rundown of the local history and culture of beer (from production to the stomach) in Prague/Czech Rep and answered any questions we had. Couldn't ask for more from this tour - my wife and I enjoyed it very much!
We have been on Viator tours in several cities, and they have been uniformly excellent; thus, we went in with high hopes for the Prague Beer and Tapas tour. I'm pleased to say that the evening exceeded even these high expectations, all due to Eliska, our guide. A graduate student with years in Prague, she knows the city - and its beer - very well indeed, and she shares her knowledge with the comfortable air of a good friend letting you in on the local scene. The other folks on our tour were great, but honestly we might not have known that if we hadn't had such a great host. Eliska balanced information about Prague, Czech history, culture, and politics, and beer in a effervescent mix. Conversation flowed easily. The four bars she picked were each excellent in different ways; she ordered a different plate of tapas in each one (giving us a taste of the different types of beer snacks that Czechs favor), which was more than enough to constitute dinner, especially when paired with the beers. And the beers were great - different enough that you didn't get tired of drinking them - the (compared to the US) relatively low alcohol helped, too. I'm a wine drinker who is only in the last few years tentatively branching out to beer, and I had a great time! We ended up sitting at the last bar for over an hour after the tour was over, talking and drinking with Eliska and our new friends. If I could give this tour six stars, I would!
Lukas made the tour. He chose great local spots, created a fun atmosphere and was very informative. We had enough food and beer to keep us full and happy for the entire time. We enjoyed getting to know our fellow travelers and sharing tips. This was a great way to get outside of the city center and see how the rest of Prague eats and drinks.

Really enjoyed our tour with Gustav as our guide. So knowledgeable, very customer focused, and great communicator. Cesky Krumlov is amazing as it is! We also commend the tour agency for continuing with the tour even though there were only the two of us. Highly recommend!

I've done a lot of food tours around the world and this was one of the best. All the food was great, loved the variety. Also, our guide, Neil Ware, was really great. He was very funny and personable. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.
This was one of the best food tours we have done. Our guide Helena was excellent; her comprehensive knowledge and explanations of the food we were enjoying were amazing, and she complemented this with historical insights about the areas we were walking through, The food was plentiful and delicious, and the walking not at all taxing. Highly recommended.

We visited Kutna Hora from Prague with Andrea as our guide. We mostly wanted to see the Ossuary, which was fascinating, but we also got to see some other lovely places and learnt some really great facts. We also had an amazing lunch in an authentic Czech tavern. Andrea was a fantastic guide. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Evening Prague: Traditional Czech Food Tour in Old Town
Excellent food tour
, Oct 2019
It was my first time in Prague and I wanted to try Czech food but didn't really know where to go, that's why I booked this tour. My guide Eliska was great. She took me to places that are not invaded by tourists and where the food is excellent. I tried different dishes, beer and wine. Eliska gave good advice about the food and also tips for other places to go to and things to see in Prague. I had a great time and I definitely recommend this tour !
Jana our tour guide was fantastic, thnaks! We got to see and sample some of the great food spots in Prague. Great value for money, we got to try some great Czech food and some great local wines and beer. We also heard a little about Prague's history which was great. Definitely worth doing, you wont be disappointed.
What a perfect way to begin our stay in Prague -- having a local show us smaller, farm-to-table restaurants and suggesting some specialties (not touristy items) to sample. A true pleasure. Our guide was Sasha. He was exceptional. Enthusiastic. Passionate. Knowledgeable. He made the evening even more exceptional. And he recommended restaurants for our subsequent nights. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Sasha.

Our driver Andrew was excellent & provided us bottled water once in the car. Excellent service!
, Jan 2020
Our flight from Heathrow was delayed 2 hours& I called & notify the company. Our driver was at the airport & waiting for us. Our driver Andrew was very courteous & professional and answered all of the questions we had about Prague. Will use this service again when we return home! Excellent!
The driver arrived at 7:50 AM for our 8AM reservation at our hotel on 28 Jan 2020. He was very friendly and was a safe driver. He got us to the airport in plenty of time. I would highly recommend to get to the airport.
Don't go through all the hassle of waiting in a long taxi or shuttles queues and use our private, door to door airport transfer to Prague Airport. A professional driver will meet you in the arrivals hall (arrival transfer) or in the hotel lobby (departure transfer) and take you directly to the point.
Choose from two comfortable vehicles to suit your group size: sedan up to 3 people and minivan 4-7 passengers. Thanks to the car size variety, it is an ideal choice for individuals, families and bigger groups. Hope you will enjoy your stay in Prague!
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip but obviously sorry we couldn't go as far as usual. Congratulations to the Captain for is very efficient turning the ship round several times. Staff very helpful and plenty of food.
The boat was very nice and clean. The food was so-so - they ran out of a few items on the buffet by the time I got there. (There was no announcement or indication that the buffet was ready.) We finished dinner by about 8:30pm and there was still 1 1/2 hours to go. I think it would've been ok if the lights had been dimmed or turned off so we could see out of the windows. Overall, it was an okay experience.
Experience food, music, and Prague’s top monuments on a 3-hour dinner cruise down the Vltava River. After your complimentary welcome drink, enjoy an open buffet of both Czech and international cuisine. Relax as live music accompanies your dinner. The cruise offers unobstructed views of the city’s illuminated attractions, which you can appreciate from inside or on the outside deck.
For some reason I thought this would be more sight seeing and less going in circles in the river. No worries. The food was perfectly fine, with plenty of it. We enjoyed the cheese way too much. Be warned: wine is sold by the bottle! We accidentally ordered two.
Also, this is a simple catered meal onboard. It is nothing more, nothing less. But for prague, this is a very expensive dinner that was not worth the cost.
Glide past nighttime Prague’s illuminated castles and cathedrals on a dinner cruise along the Vltava River. Pick your favorites from a hearty buffet lineup, and dine under a glass dome roof that allows panoramic views of Prague Castle, the National Theater, and the underside of Charles Bridge as the boat passes beneath it. A welcome glass of sparkling prosecco and live music set the scene for an elegant evening on the water.
Kutna Hora Tour including the Ossuary Visit from Prague
Great chance to see a town outside of the city
, Feb 2020
It ended up being almost a private tour as there was just me and one other couple. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The bus was nice and comfortable. We went to the Ossuary and St. Barbara’s Cathedral, as well as walked around the town a bit. Our guide knew of some great locations to get some amazing photos. Then we had about and hour and a half of free time to walk around the town and do whatever we wanted. My guide pointed me to a small restaurant in the town square that had good food and coffee and she was absolutely right. I got to sit by a window and relax with a good cup of coffee and people watch for a bit. The fact that this tour offered hotel pick up and drop off was a great bonus as I didn't have to try to figure out how to get to where I needed to be, which can be stressful. The only downfall would be that it felt a bit rushed at times. But that could just be me as I like to really stop and take photos and appreciate what I’m seeing. So there were a few times that I got behind the group as I was stopping for a photo or to look at something, but my group was never out of my sight and since there were only three of us, I never had to worry that I would be left behind.
All in all, for the money spent it was a good tour and a good chance to see a town outside of Prague that also had history behind it. Very worth it
This tour allows you to visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kutná Hora, including the Ossuary, on a trip from Prague. Skip the hassle of renting a car with round-trip transportation from your Prague hotel. Entrance fees are included for a hassle-free experience.
