Doug was our driver, gave a great deal of information that was not on the narrative. Rode from stop #2 all the way around on got off at #8 the second time. When we got back on several hours later at #8 we were fortunate enough to have Doug as our driver once again. Great day with his help!

Our tour was shortened half an hour from 2 hours to one and half because there were a group of thirteen people were late. If the tour guide told us it would cost other tourists time loss, we would be able to talk and questioning, but the tour guide has never explained that situation which was not fair for us. It was the last day of 2019.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of facts of city and added appropriate humor a long the tour. Gave visitors an understanding of the history of the city, as well as, the architecture and economic business

The Ice Hotel is a must see! I wish their was more time allotted at the location, so we could have tried the tubing and other attractions available. It wasn’t as much a “guided tour” as a shuttle to and from the ice hotel.
The hotel was really unique and the transportation services were really convenient. Worth it. The only one thing is the pick-up and drop-off spot in Quebec City was in front of the monument of the world heritage. Technically it was not in the tourist information or in front of it. The tour website didn't specify it and we didn't know that, so we nearly missed the bus at 9 am.
Eliminate the need to rent a car while visiting the Ice Hotel with this tour that includes round-trip transportation. With pickup and drop-off in Quebec City, you can just sit back and enjoy the scenery on the ride. Once you arrive, embark on a self-guided tour to see the rooms, suites, ice sculptures, and stop for a drink at the ice bar. Learn the history of the ice bar and all the facts and figures that make it so special.
Half-Day Trip to Montmorency Falls and Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré from Quebec
Easy way to spend the day in Quebec
, Jan 2020
We made a last minute booking for a half day excursion around Quebec. We visited a chocolatier on Isle D'Orleans, Montmorency Falls, a Copper museum, and Ste. Anne's church. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours on a frigid day with single digit temperatures. The "chocolatier" was really just a candy store with artisan chocolates, and the copper museum was more store and less museum - with a bit of education about the art mixed in. Each stop was enjoyable appropriately timed. I did not find myself wishing for more, or feeling anxious to move on. Our guide, Allain, was delightful. He was kind, knowledgeable, provided amusing and informative anecdotes about the areas we visited and drove through, and kept the tour moving at a great pace.

Guided Tour of the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec City
One hour tour of Hotel Frontenac
, Nov 2019
The guide was in period costume and stayed in the character as one of the original architects which was fun. The tour started with just a few mins outside and the rest is inside. I found the hotel to be quite warm so dress in layers (no coat check available). The tour was informative and provided access to meeting rooms that are available for personal/business use. If you have several days in Quebec City, it’s worth it, if a short visit, I recommend a history or food walking tours instead.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the tour. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Marie, our guide was so very pleased and well informed. At the end of the tour, not only were our palates satisfied, but we felt as though we were saying farewell to an old friend.
Exceeded our expectations for tour and gourmet food
, Nov 2019
We had our tour on Nov. 26th and Denise was our guide. He was prompt, on schedule, and was the perfect ambassador for Quebec City. Each restaurant we stopped at was better than our expectations and delicious. We are hooked. It is likely we will return in future and will definitely book this tour again and not waste time searching other food tours. We hope Denise would be the guide once again.
My wife and I have traveled extensively & taken many side tours during our 50 years of marriage. However, the food tour of Old Quebec City was probably our "best ever". Our guide, Gabriella, was superb. It took us a little while to find one another because of the crowds, but eventually Gabriella was able to bring the 8 of us together. She kept us on schedule to visit a variety of places. First for hors D'oeuvres and a nice glass of wine. Next to an old factory converted to a hotel where we sampled a typical charcuterie platter of prepared meats, fresh bread and a variety of cheeses with both red & white wines. Later, on our 3rd stop, the piece de resistance, we were surprised to visit a restaurant called Le Continental, an exquisite place where we were treated to one of the "best ever" meals. Shrimp sauteed in a lobster bisque sauce with several other ingredients; alcohol was added, flambeed to perfection at the table & accompanied by a very light, crisp Pinot Grigio. Next to another popular restaurant for a dinner of wonderfully cooked Beef Bourguignon, mashed garlic potatoes and green beans. More excellent wine and still more. Finally, Café La Maison Smith St-Jean, known for great coffees, croissants and a wide variety of the local cookie specialty, MACAROONS. A perfect ending to a tour we will long remember. Don't miss it and make sure you ask for Gabriella as your guide.
