So glad we chose this experience! We'd 100% recommend. We did the champagne tour our first full day in Reims and it was a great way to learn about the area, the champagne region and houses that grow there, and a behind the scene look at the industry. Jerome was AMAZING, the lunch was incredible, and everyone was so knowledgeable and made this one of our favorite parts of our trip to France. Absolutely worth it and we would definitely book again!
Go behind the scenes of the Champagne industry on this full-day guided tour of Epernay from Reims. Sample Champagnes throughout the day, including a visit to the prestigious Moët & Chandon cellars. Drive through the Avenue of Champagne and admire UNESCO-listed vineyards, and visit a restored 19th-century Champagne house for a regional family-style lunch. Small-Group afternoon Champagne Tour with Champagne Tastings from Reims
Great experience at small Champagne houses!
, Dec 2019
We took train from Paris to Reims and Tom was waiting for us just outside the train station. Had a great afternoon seeing some of the France countryside and two small production champagne houses. Was fun learning about older and newer production methods and loved the tastings. Tom was attentive and efficient in leading us. Great time! Just what we were looking for.
Champagne lovers—this is the tour for you. Spend a day exploring and tasting your way around the idyllic Champagne region of France. You won’t have to worry about how to get there, as round-trip transport from Reims is included. Visit the UNESCO-listed Champagne Avenue at Epernay, see the historic village of Hautvillers, and visit vineyards and boutique wineries for multiple delicious Champagne tastings.
Our guide Radames was excellent and the tours of Tattinger and Moët & Chandon could not have been better. The small group aspect allowed us to give input and stop to spend some time around the grapevines. Not to be missed!
We booked this trip as a last minute decision and didn't really know what to expectm, but we were very happy with everything. Our guide Christoph was very friendly and accomodating, and extremely knowledgable about the area and the Champagne industry.
Our train ride to/from Paris to Reims was very easy, as we always find European train travel to be. We were picked up in a large van and taken throught town, and a tour of the local Notre Dame cathedral, which is just beautiful. The tour of Tattinger was probably my favorite part, through the chalk caves and a very interesting description of the process of champagne. The tasting included was basic, but we were able to pay to upgrade to other higher-priced tastings, all very reasonable. Our tour of 8 was added to a larger group, but all very manageable.
We drove to Epernay, with a stop at the tomb of Dom Perignon, which was wonderful, and we were able to stop for some very beatiful photos with views of the vineyards.
In Epernay we were on our own for lunch or an hour and there are lots of options that are good. We went on to the Avenue of Champagne and stopped at Moet and Chandon for our last tour. It was beautiful and well done, although less personal than the Tattinger in my opinion.
It would have been great if we had had some time to walk through Epernay and the other champagne houses, which were beautiful. That would be my only real critque of the day. It might also be nice to visit some smaller family chateaus instead of the very large ones like Tattinger and Moet. But overall, we were extremely happy with the tour. Great value for the price.
Champagne tasting at Moët & Chandon and Taittinger is a not-to-be-missed experience for connoisseurs of vintage French bubbly. This small-group tour of the Champagne-producing region of Reims, France also includes a stroll down the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.
Veuve Clicquot Tour, Champagne tasting lunch 1st & Grand Cru at a Family Domain
It is an absolut MUST to do! Great Tour
, Oct 2019
We loved it. We were 8 people in a mini van and our first stop was at Veuve Cliquot. It was really impressive discovering the cave. After this guided tour we tasted one glass of champagne. Very delicious. Then we started a sight seeing tour through Reims and eat lunch about 30 min away at the countryside. There we had another tasting tour at Dom Caudron. Also very delicious. We got almost drunk :-) but it wasn't finished yet. Another tasting tour started right after near by. After 8 glasses of champagner we skipped the sightseeing tour of the cathedral of Reims. Too tired :-)
Overall we very impressed and lucky having booked this tour. Highly recommended!!
What a fun day! Christophe was our guide and he was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the region. We toured 3 champagne houses from the large and famous Veuve Clicquot to a much smaller and beautiful family run house. We had a delicious lunch at the second house located in a small village in the beautiful French countryside. We learned about the extensive process of champagne making and it gave us all much more appreciation of the bottles of bubbly.
Christophe also took us to a beautiful cathedral and told about it's history. We were accompanied by 5 other people and we all had a great day of champagne sampling and getting to know each other. I think we all agreed, it was one of our favorite days during our Paris stay!
You guys have miraculously - in this world of hyperbole and marketing mayhem - completely undersold this tour. It was divine in every way. The meeting was concise and the van was high level. The guide, an engaging and highly knowledgable local gentleman named Julian, was so accommodating to our time and questions and needs, yet kept the day moving at a brisk but enjoyable pace. He had great pride for his region of birth and it shown through. The places we visited were even ore intriguing and beautiful than we had imagined, and we have wild imaginations. The lunch was unbelievable high class and tasty and the personal tour of one of the local champagne houses was so welcoming. We drank and tasted and ate and laughed and just took it all in. I highly, HIGHLY recommend people take this tour and hope you get Julian, but I am sure if he is working it than you guys have quite a team. One of the highlights of our 20th anniversary France trip. Thank you all!
Reims is the Champagne capital of France and there’s no better place to sample the world’s finest Champagne. This full-day tour includes a tour of the Veuve Clicquot Champagne estate, a visit to the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of Reims, a Champagne lunch, and Champagne tasting in the Montagne de Reims’ vineyards.
Champagne Day Trip to Veuve Cliquot and Family Winery including Lunch from Reims
Champagne Day Trip from Paris
, Oct 2019
Outstanding experience!!! Our tour guide Martin was the best. Very knowledgeable about the region and about champagne. Easy going, patient and very charming. Our lunch was outstanding! Loved our tour of Veuve Clicquot as much as the small family champagne house. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves champagne. Next time, we will stay the night in Reims as there is so much to see in this charming French town.
I booked this tour for my mother, sister, 14-year-old daughter and I, and we all had a wonderful time! Our guide was Guillaume, and he did a fantastic job. We learned a lot about Champagne and the region. The tour took us to visit three wineries: two family vineyards and one corporate winery - Veuve Cliquot. We enjoyed visiting the different wineries and especially enjoyed our lovely lunch. And, there was plenty of champagne throughout the day. It was great experience. If you're looking for a fun day trip from Paris, this is it! We took the direct train to Reims from Paris, and it was easy and comfortable.
My mom and I booked this tour to experience the Champagne region during our week long trip to Paris. This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip. Guillaume, our tour guide, was knowledgable and kept it light and fun. There was a younger gal on our tour (she was 14), and they even provided a special kid-friendly juice tasting for her to keep her engaged. I couldn't recommend this tour enough. Book it! :)
This tour is a champagne lover’s dream. Enjoy the freedom of not having to organize transport, as you have a minivan to drive you between spread out attractions. Make the most of your day by sightseeing in Reims, seeing the UNESCO-listed Cathedral, and then having a tour of the Veuve Cliquot winery. Entrance fees, champagne tastings, a guide, and a delicious regional lunch are included, making it the ultimate fun, informative, and hassle-free day.
Champagne Day Trip with E-Bike including 2 Producers and Lunch from Reims
Best way to experience the Champagne region
, Sep 2019
My boyfriend and I did this tour on our second of three days in Reims. It was absolutely the best way to really experience the Champagne region. Guillaume, our guide, was fun, funny, accommodating to all the participants and very knowledgeable. The e-bikes are also really fun. It was our first time on one.
Our group had athletic and non-athletic folks. Everyone enjoyed the experience because the e-bikes can make it as hard or easy as you want. As long as you can ride a bike, you can do the tour.
Even if you have only one day, like some of the other participants in our group, do this tour. It is awesome and worth every penny.
Immerse yourself in the world of champagne and tour the region on two wheels. Let the e-bike do the heavy lifting while you enjoy the sights and fresh air. Cruise the Avenue of Champagne, Hautvillers (the home of Dom Perignon), and Le Clos Corbier, a restored champagne house where you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch.
VERDUN battlefield tour, guide & entry tickets included
More Americans should see this!
, Oct 2019
Fantastic museum, Gwen was a very knowledgeable guide. It would help to have laminated maps for those of us touring to get a sense of the greater geography. However, the transport was first rate, Gwen had water for us, and was very accommodating to what we needed. The sites will be in our memories forever. We even went to the American Memorial at Belleau Wood on our own to continue the learning.
Turn back the time and discover "the hell of Verdun", one of the most important and terrifying battles of the first world war.
Through this tour, thanks to your guide, you will understand the specificities of this battle, walking on the path of the soldiers, visiting the fortifications, the trenches, and the remaining shell holes. You will be impressed by the impressive Ossuary and this endless number of crosses...
How not to be touch by the sacrifice of those brave young men (and women), whatever the country they were fighting for.

We undertook this tour for a general overview of the champagne making process and a look at one of the big houses. The tunnel tour of Taittinger was particularly interesting. The tour goes out of Reims to a small family producer and this gives people who are not familiar with vineyards exposure to them. The guide was informative and engaging.
Our guide Susanne was very friendly & informative. We were fortunate that our family party of 6 - 2 from Hamburg, 2 from London & 2 from Australia - were the only passengers. The tour through Champagne Taittinger was most informative. The drive out into the country was pleasant, and our visit to Michel Fargot Champagne was lovely. Upon our arrival back into the City, we had a tour through the Cathedral. On Susanne's recommendation, we went back to the Cathedral that night for the light show - this should not be missed. It was really lovely, we were all so pleased we had the opportunity to see this.

Wish I could give a 6!
, Nov 2019
Andy was a great guide. Having worked for Moët et Chandon, he was very knowledgeable in the producing of champagne. It was so nice to go to a couple of smaller houses rather than the well-known ones. I bought 2 bottles from the first one and one from the second. The prices were quite reasonable. The amounts of the pours for tasting were perfect - no getting drunk! And the stop in the vineyards for the view of the fall colors of the vines was perfect. I'm glad the timing of my trip to Paris allowed the bonus of fall colors. Highly recommended and merci Andy!
Lea, the guide, was the most amazing and nice person. She showed us the entire process of the champagne making and we tasted 6 different champagnes, grape juice and even the grapes themselves!
Amazing trip, she was so knowledgeable about most wine related stuff and very kind to answer our questions.
