The tour was a great way of learning about Newport present and history from the shops to celebrity homes. The Breakers stop was my favorite! My friends and I had a nice weekend girls trip and the Breakers plus the tour guide made it unforgettable. Highly recommend, the few hours are worth it!

Peter was our driver and private tour guide. A Newport native, he knows the streets, points of interest, and history quite well. Peter presented a detailed account of all the above without sounding too academic or dry. One of our travelers(4 total) is by no means interested in history, but she found Peter's tour engaging and delightful. We all found him humorous, but not cheesy in any way. Our mansion choice was the Breakers, which was worth experiencing.

Wacky Walks is a royalty themed scavenger hunt. It is similar to a board game, in which the power, or control, of the game shifts from one player to another and instead of a board, you'll be exploring the streets of your city with your smartphone to complete the game.
The objective of the game is to have fun, find some cool places in your city, and enjoy the company of whoever you are playing with. Wacky Walks will start out by designating who will be the first King or Queen. The Royal Highness will then direct the other players to locate items and participate in challenges throughout the kingdom (your city). You'll use our scavenger hunt app to prove you've found correct items and completed the challenges correctly.
Wonderful Experience - personalized tour of Newport

Such a special thing to do. Justin, our guide, provided such a great experience for us, taking us to places we otherwise would not have had access to. We saw a lot in the 1 hour tour; This was a great start to our day.

Noel and Shawn were great! Tour we purchased on island was unprofessional and driver was rude. Forgot 6 passengers and we had to go back! Wasted an hour of our trip and he didn't even apologize or request another van to pick us up when we decided to end tour. We were on a very right schedule and he didn't care! Please tell your passengers to use buses and not purchase 3,4,5 hour tours on island. People can just hop on and hop off buses and so much cheaper.
Just to be clear, this day trip only includes round trip car service from your hotel in Providence to the Martha's Vineyard ferry terminal in New Bedford, MA and round trip ferry tickets. So, once you are on the island, you must do your own thing. There are tours you can purchase independently once you arrive at the island. Having said that, it was a very convenient way to go. Our driver, Dan, was very pleasant and friendly and he gave us great service.
The assistance received from the Host was great. The calls received and information given to help us to get to location, everything ran smoothly, and most of all the kindness and pleasantness we received. Great trip.

If you like enjoying amazing comfort food and sharing your time with fun and knowledgeable guides, while walking the town and tasting some local fun food, then this is the tour for you. Our tour guides Sue and Tom were a wonderful team. Friendly, outgoing, and full of interesting information about the city of Newport. At each stop they made sure we were well taken care of. We had great sliders, amazing fried chicken, the most unique and delicious biscuit I have ever tasted, fantastic pizza and the perfect ending of cupcakes and a cocktail. Who wouldn't love a tour like that?! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits and wants something besides a visit to a mansion. Have some fun and take the tour!
Lots of interesting history of Newport. Lots of fun historical facts. The couple was lovely. Food was very ordinary a hamburger, fried chicken, and pizza. Thought we might get local fish, clam chowder, etc. portions were very generous just disappointed with food choices.

If you’re a believer it was a treasure hunt. If you’re a non-believer, like me, it was just a fun walk with lots of stories. Either way, worth it and met some interesting people. Holly, the tour guide, was fun and knew how to spin a good ghost story.
It was Friday the 13th and a full moon so we decided to go to and were not disappointed. It’s not scary but you hear a fair amount of obscure stories of Newport’s past residents. We’ve been coming to Newport for years and this was something new to try out for the night walking around town and our guide Rachel is a good storyteller too.
