Discover the vast health benefits of seaweed and its importance in our lives in ways we may not realize – from its use in toothpaste to ice-cream! You will also get to browse unique seaweed products from around the world.
After this introduction to seaweed, you will drive to the shore for your foraging tour. Explore, identify and sustainably harvest and taste seaweed, raw from the rocks. Your foraging tour will last about an hour after which you will return to the restaurant to indulge in an 8-course seaweed tasting menu. Your meal may include dishes such as marinated sea spaghetti, onigiri stuffed with kelp relish and spiced beef cured with kelp powder and juniper berries.
