Skip-the-Line Small-Group Tour: Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica
, Feb 2020
I’ve been to Rome many times and toured the Vatican at least four times. This was the best ever. Our guide spoke excellent English and was a trained archeologist. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Massimo was a wonderful guide that showed my fiance and I. He was the perfect blend of tour personalization and keeping the tour load manageable. There were many hidden aspects of the museums that the other tour guides were not even aware of that were expertly guided. Thanks again Massimo!
See the best of Vatican City on this small-group tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. Skip the long lines at the Vatican and go straight to the remarkable art and architecture, including galleries, the Julius II apartments, the Raphael Rooms, and Sistine Chapel. This intimate Vatican tour is limited to six people for a personal experience and individual service from the guide, and includes all entrance fees.
I paid for a self guided audio tour of the Basilica. We only wanted to see the inside of the Cathedral. I ordered and paid for the tickets from my phone for a 1:00 viewing time. We got there early around 11:00 and were pleasantly surprised that they let us go right in 2 hours early. That was great and we literally went right to the front of the line. There was no waiting at all!
Enjoy the freedom to explore St Peter's Basilica at your own pace and on your own mobile device with this wifi audio guided tour. Use the access code and the Basilica's wifi to download the audio guide to your phone or tablet.
This tour helped us get in to the Colosseum faster and then we were able to tour the site on our own, meet back up with our guide to be escorted to the Roman Forum and then explore on our own again. I would definitely recommend this tour- save your money for a guided, semi private tour of something like the Vatican.
Getting into the Colosseum through X-ray definitely takes time, but is to be expected. Had plenty of time in the colosseum to look around. Usually stay 45 min - 1 hour. We were given 1 hour 20 min. However, you have to meet back at the designated point for the staff to take you through the line for the forum. Unfortunately, the afternoon tour is starting and you must wait for the staff to check the afternoon group in before the morning group is taken to the forum. We waited approximately 40 minutes in between tours.

• Skip the long lines to enter the monument
• Access the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum

After the visit Colosseum you will be escorded at the entrance of the Palatine Hill/Roman Forum, where you can explore both sites by yourself at your own pace.
PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOUR BEFORE BOOKING!
There is so much to see on this tour that there is no way to see it all. It is a fast paced tour but our guide, Felix, was awesome! He showed us the highlights, which was still a little overwhelming. I know we would've missed a lot had we tried to do a self guided tour so I highly recommend this tour. If you want to spend extra time anywhere you need to avoid the guided tour.

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Entrance Tickets
Rushed but interesting
, Jan 2020
I took this tour on New Years Eve - so we were really rushed with early closing. I enjoyed the tour, and it would have probably gotten a better overall rating from me if we hadn't been so rushed. I left feeling like I hadn't really seen the museums at all - just rushed through on our way to the Sistine Chapel.
when we arrived our ticket sellers met us at the suggested point on time and very friendly, we were offered an upgrade to a guided tour conducted by a man called EDDIE which I am very glad we went. Ed was clearly very well versed in Rome history as he also conducts other tours. It was educational and engaging. We went in December the weather was pleasant and the question were minimal as opposed to other times in the year. Definitely would buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment or queues
Our guide, Eddie, was knowledgeable, entertaining and had a history in archeology. Our group was only 12 making us less half the size of other tour groups and quite nimble navigating the Vatican. I believe there was at least 3 times where we were able to skip lines and avoid hours of waiting as we saw others doing. A couple of times he had permission (connections?) that allowed us to go from point A to B through a restricted area. Even such things as “the best, quickest bathrooms” was something we enjoyed where others had no idea. Our time in certain areas was timed so crowds were limited however in some areas we wizzed through to stay on schedule. (What “map room”?).
I believe this trip was a very good value and we all learned a lot in 3 hours.
At my age I have decided I have more money than time. A Rome highlight.
The long lines that the Vatican attracts are a testament to its status as one of Europe’s most famous attractions. If you’ve got limited time in Rome, don’t waste a moment waiting with a skip-the-line admission ticket to the Vatican. You are able to explore the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms independently while still benefiting from priority entry, usually only reserved for visitors taking a guided tour.
The Vatican Museums are among the largest museums in the world and with over five million annual visitors they can get incredibly crowded. This self-guided tour is ideal for those who want to take their time and not be restricted by a guided tour. Save time with fast-track, skip-the-line entrance tickets, browse the galleries at your own pace, and visit the magnificent Sistine Chapel at a time that suits you.
Skip the Line: Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Fast Track Admission Ticket
, Oct 2019
I booked what I thought to be an English guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. It cost $233.56 CDN for 2 people. Instead what we received was a "guided entrance" only. What this means is the "guide" escorts you directly through the entrance (skipping the lineup), distributes admission tickets, then dumps you on your own. We then had to rent audio guides for 7 euros each for a self guided tour, in order to get some info about what we were seeing. We felt completely ripped off, and found the reception at the tourist office where we met the "guide" was completely disorganized, with the staff lining us up and counting heads over and over, at least 6 times before we finally set off. I would not recommend this tour at all. It also does not include admission to the Vatican itself. The attraction itself is fabulous but make other arrangements to see it.
I thought the museum was beautiful and there is tons to see. But it is SO packed full of tourist it took my husband and I almost 4 hours to walk through the entire museum and we didn’t even do the audio tour.... can’t even imagine how long it would have taken us if we did do the audio. If you decide to do the Vatican definitely get the fast pass!

The Colosseum is one of Rome's most-visited attractions but, with this privileged entrance ticket, you don't have to waste time waiting in the line to get in. The ticket also includes entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and can be upgraded to include a tour guide.
Our tour was AMAZING. Our guides were funny & knowledgable, and they gave us some free time after the tour for pictures and gift shops. The Roman Hill tour started 15/20 mins late due to the guide not having enough tickets for everybody, but he add time at the end, so everybody was happy
Booked this for my parents and they had an excellent time. The guide explained everything in detail and they had enough time to explore. They also did not feel rushed. Unfortunately, they had a flight to catch could not stay for the second part of the tour but the Colosseum itself was worth it :).

Loved the Vatican and chapel
Unfortunately the guide was very hard to find
Directions confusing and two sets of stairs so we found the wrong guide. Thankfully a local woman came to our rescue and helped.
Need to make the guide easier to find

Exclusive First Entrance to Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel with Vatican Ticket
Worth the money for being there so early with so little people!
, Jan 2020
Being able to be the first ones into the chapel was TOTALLY worth the extra price and the sacrifice of getting up so early. The only reason I would give the experience a 4 is because it is very, very confusing how to get your tickets to get in. You are instructed to get your ticket and meet at Cafe Vaticio (?) across the street from the Vatican Museum. The confusion was that the guide wasn't at the Cafe. Split up and one stayed at the Cafe, the other went across the street to try to get into the museum. It was closed until 15 mins before time to go in and there was a huge line and it was freezing cold. Finally, (after the time the tour was supposed to start) a guide showed up at the Cafe. We still had to all wait in line for a bit outside until we got in. They then leave you and you are on your own to go at your own pace. We liked that part.
Skip the long lines at the Vatican, and see the Sistine Chapel before the crowds with early morning priority access to the Vatican Museums, well before they open to the general public. After your time in the Sistine Chapel, spend the day exploring the Vatican Museums at your own pace, with access until closing time.

Explore the Vatican’s highlights with a small group that’s limited to 12 travelers, so it’ll feel like an intimate and special experience for your group.

Good way to tour
, Jan 2020
We were very happy with this tour. Our guide, I think Nadia, gave us a lot of information we would not have gotten on a regular tour. We were able to cover a lot of ground by omitting the lines. When you are limited on time, this is the way to go!
We really enjoyed listening and talking with Serena as part of this tour. She's so knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions without hesitation. This tour is truly skip the line as well, which was hugely helpful given the long lines at the Colosseum. Highly recommend!
Our guide, Serena, was very knowledgeable. It was a relaxed tour, based on our priorities and expectations. We also had a beautiful day - not Serena's responsibility - but it helped very much. It is a long walk, but we took our time. She left us in the Colosseum to explore a little more on our own, A wonderful morning.
