Imagine being able to dive into the sea of Rome. With the Regina Ciclarum all this is possible, you will cross 40km of bike path and sections of dirt road starting from the center of Rome, along the Tiber to get to Fiumicino, where you will expect a well-deserved swim in the sea and a tasty piece of Calamari and Prawns before taking the return train that will take us to San Pietro, and then head to the starting point.ATTENTION: Recommended for people with a minimum of training.
Rome: I came, I saw, I CLEANED. It's no secret, the city of Rome has seen better days. Take part in a great local cleanup effort! We all know Rome wasn't built in a day, so nor can we expect to spontaneously solve it's myriad of problems in one day. However, we are making strides to restore Rome to her righteous place as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, one cleanup at a time! This is a terrific opportunity to REALLY help the city of Rome by taking direct action while enjoying the spectacular backdrop of Renaissance cathedrals and Roman ruins. You'll learn about the crises and challenges faced by modern Rome. We meet in the vicinity of a Roman park, one of Rome's Seven Hills. Here, ancient and historic churches have fallen victim to neglect and vandalism. Our cleanup includes (but is not limited to) picking up paper, cans, bottles, and other unsightly detritus. After giving back to a city in need, it'll be pats on the back all round to reflect on a job well done!
