Enjoyed the bus tours, I didn't have time to take in the river cruise, as Moscow is such a beautiful city, loads to see, you'll need to go round twice to take in all the beautiful buildings. The commentary was very good and insync, the steward was very helpful, only downside being the Moscow traffic jams

2 Day Complete St Petersburg Tour with Faberge Museum
From $35.00 (Price varies by group size )
, Nov 2019
We traveled independently to St. Petersburg and booked this tour through Viator. Ludmila was very helpful with visa and other details. And the guide she provided was absolutely fantastic. She took us to all the well-known sites and a few off the beaten track, facilitating our entry and providing excellent information. Highly recommended!
We booked our first cruise solely for the purpose of going to St Petersburg, so it was critical that we made the most of the the two days we had there. Our two days were absolutely perfect. Our guide Jane was knowledgable and friendly and seemed to have a magic wand that whisked us to the front of all lines and enabled us to see so much in the time we had. The Mercedes minibus was comfortable and our driver Andrey manoeuvred us through St Petersburg and out to the countryside with finesse and was always ready waiting when we came out of an attraction. From the very beginning Ludmila was easy to communicate with and not having to worry about the Russian Visa process was a relief after doing it ourselves 18 months prior when we visited Moscow. St Petersburg was a stunning city and the museums, palaces and cathedrals incredibly ornate. The history shared by Jane was invaluable to help understand and appreciate all that we saw. Those on our cruise who participated in shore excursions provided by the ship did not cover anywhere as much as we did. I would totally recommend the mentioned tour in particular and Ludmila tours in general to anyone travelling to St Petersburg.

The Trans-Siberian Train- a term that thrills adventurers of all kinds. Of the different branches of the Trans-Siberian Train, the Trans-Mongolian is the most traveled route, mainly due to the fact that in one journey one could explore three different countries, and three different distinct cultures. But long train rides over the vast open Siberian taiga and tundra might just not meet the preferences of many travelers. We have thus designed a trip that focuses on the true real gems of this long train ride.
