The tour was well organized and ideal for small groups trying to take a look around the center by foot to get a feel of it. Anna was my guide and was very knowledgeable and passionate to share the history. We ended the tour with traditional Russian food. Overall was a good experience. Would recommend to take this tour to get a feel of the place, narrow down your interests and go in detail to the ones that you would like to explore more.
We were fortunate to be the only people on the tour so our charming guide, Oksana, tailored the walk to ensure we covered highlights of the historic area that we had not already seen during our week here. Then we had a simple, yet delicious, lunch at a local restaurant. Definitely recommended.

Relaxed Shore Excursion: 2-Day St. Petersburg City Explorer
Excellent tour guide!!!
, Oct 2019
Our tour guide, Natalya, was the perfect guide to tour around St Petersburg for two days. We were super lucky to get her. Our tour was a small group of eight. That made our stops quick, efficient and intimate. I learned so much on the history of St Petersburg. Loved all the stops! High recommend!
Immerse yourself in the spectacular sights of St Petersburg during a 2-day shore excursion to the remarkable Russian city. Marvel at the majesty of the Peterhof Fountain Park; take a sightseeing cruise along the Neva River; absorb the sacred ambiance of the Church on the Spilled Blood; and visit the Hermitage, which boasts the title of Russia’s largest museum. Receive an insightful introduction to the history of St Petersburg from your expert guide and enjoy two lunches and luxurious transportation by air-conditioned vehicle for the duration of your shore excursion.
We had a good walk around revolution square, the Bolshoi and a few other historic building and squares. It was a very cold walk at sub zero temperature. However, our tour guide Elena was very talkative and kept us warm with her stories of atrocities during the Soviet era. She was quite obsessed in criticizing the Bolsheviks, to the point of glorifying the Tsar period or worshipping the USA and the west. Partly the tour sounded like Lenin and Stalin bashing. I think it will be more appropriate if the tour give a more general overview of the communist transition to a more open society Moscow and the rest of Russia, without too focus trying to convince us that socialism or communism were really terrible. Overall I enjoyed the walk and we end up in a very beautiful supermarket.
Interesting for people who come to Moscow and wanna know a bit about the communist past of the city and the country. Nikita is a funny guide, has an pleasant way of telling, is easy going and open to questions. Recommend!

We met our guide precisely as indicated on the ticket. She was timely and walked us through central Moscow, showing us the sights and providing interesting historical commentary. We saw the Bolshoi, the Metropol Hotel, Red Square, GUMM Department Store, Kemlin, and much more. Our guide was very friendly and spoke great English. This tour was great for our first day in Moscow and getting the lay of the land and some great recommendations and tips on how to navigate the biggest tourist spots in Moscow. Highly recommend.

Definitely worth the visit

We were in a small group of just 4, plus our guide. What a pleasure to just walk past the long queue and straight up to the entrance without waiting. Queues can be extremely long so paying a little extra to skip it is definitely worth it. Our guide, Ilya, was awesome. Very knowledgeable and made the visit even more interesting with all the anecdotes he gave us. Try to get him as your guide, you won't regret it.

Great Christmas Experience
, Feb 2020
Nikita was a super friendly and easy-going tour guide for our Moscow trip. Despite the short hours we had, Nikita was able to fill us with the main location history and information that helped us to know the city of Moscow a lot better. Considering the fact that our visit period was over Christmas time, there were road blocks around Red Square main areas, which might be a little inconvenient to commute from one point to the other. Thanks to Nikita, who guided us through short cuts and routes that required minimal detours while showing us the main key visit points. The tour was very enjoyable as Nikita was able to answer most of our questions, will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good tour guide in the city

It was a wonderful tour! We have different guide for each day, it just happened that they both call Kate😃. We’ve been to many interesting places, eg the Kremlin( not in the itinerary but they were so kind to arrange it with additional entrance fee), the Red Square, the wooden Kremlin, a few lovely metro stations, the former KGB headquarters, etc. We highly recommend this tour, our guides are so knowledgeable and helpful. Anna was a wonderful guide with in depth knowledge who answered all our questions and made the day fun and interesting. We were fortunate as there wasn't a large crowd with it being off peak season. Highly recommend this tour as Anna also allowed us a few choices as to what we would like to see on top of showing us the main highlights. Definitely too much to cover on your own!
Getting a skip the line entry is highly recommended given the high number of tourists visiting the Hermitage, but getting a personal guided tour is even better. Having a guide will make tour gain deeper understanding of the museum's history & the exhibits on display. Tim was our guide this afternoon, and he made sure to arrange the walk as if he was telling a story with a smooth and natural flow. We were amazed that he managed to share all those details and talk non stop for 3 hours! We also did not get bored at all and he had our full attention throughout the tour. I highly recommend joining this guided tour!

Packed informative day to remember

We chose this excursion the first day of 2 in St. Petersburg cruise port. It was well worth the cost. Transportation and timing was stress free and efficient. Just tell the crew you are going to Moscow and you get off the ship with the early groups. It was a great way to see Moscow and we learned much about Russian people and society along with seeing the amazing landmarks.
We loved this tour. Our time was limited so this was a great way to see everything we wanted to see and travel to Moscow. Anton picked us up from the terminal, flew with us where we met Max in Moscow who showed us all around all the highlights of Moscow. Then we met back up with Anton who rode the train back to St. Petersburg with us. Definitely do this tour.
