How to Get There
Acqua Mundo is located along Enseada Beach in the coastal town of Guarujá, around 60 miles (98 kilometers) southeast of Sao Paulo for about a 1.5-hour drive. Daily buses run from Sao Paulo’s Jabaquara Station to Guarujá, and from there it’s a 10-minute taxi ride to the aquarium. Paid parking is also available.
When to Get There
The aquarium is open daily from mid-morning to early evening on weekdays and mid-morning to later evening on weekends. Time your visit to coincide with the daily animal feedings—the penguins, Amazonian fish, sharks, and rays are typically fed between 11am and 1pm (check the website for exact times).

The seaside resort of Guarujá is best known for its long sandy beaches. Enseada Beach is the main family beach, lined with beach bars. Pitangueiras and Tombo Beach are popular with surfers.
