Wet 'n’ Wild Water Park
Just 30 minutes from downtown Sao Paulo, Wet 'n’ Wild is one of Brazil’s largest water parks. With more than 25 slides, pools, and activities, the park has plenty to appeal to kids and adults; attractions range from super-fast water slides to a lazy-river cruise.
Admission tickets to Wet 'n’ Wild grant you full-day access to all of the the park’s water-based attractions. If you’re a thrill seeker, brave slides such as the Space Bowl and Crazy Drop, or enjoy family fun at the Wave Lagoon and Suntan Lagoon; there’s also a Hot Land water play area with a retractable roof for rainy days. Additional paid activities include a treetop adventure playground and zipline, and boat and kayak rentals on the lake.
Things to Know Before You Go
Skip-the-line bracelets, which let you bypass the lines for each slide, are available for an additional fee.
On-site facilities include lockers, free sunbeds and parasols, gift shops, and a selection of cafés and restaurants.
‘Wet Money’ bracelets are issued to each visitor at the park’s entrance and can be used to purchase items at the shop and restaurants. These can be topped up by cash or credit card.
There are swimming areas and activities suitable for all ages, but some slides and activities have height restrictions. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
The park and pools are wheelchair accessible, but not all of the activities are suitable for those with limited mobility.
How to Get There
Wet 'n’ Wild is on the Bandeirantes Highway, between the cities of Itupeva and Vineyard, and around 44 miles (70 kilometers) northwest of São Paulo. Buses run to nearby Vinhedo, from which you can take a taxi. If you’re driving, there’s a paid parking area at the park entrance.
When to Get There
Wet 'n’ Wild is open from 11am-8pm, Thursday to Sunday. The busiest time to visit is in summer (December to February), when the park gets particularly crowded on weekends. Outside of peak season, some rides operate with reduced opening hours.
Family Fun in Sao Paulo
In addition to Wet ‘n’ Wild, Sao Paulo boasts plenty of family-friendly attractions.
