Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary Tours

Get up close with lions, tigers, bears, and much more at the Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary. This non-profit sanctuary was opened in order to provide a safe home for big cats and other exotic wildlife in need of rescue. The sanctuary features three indoor/outdoor residences for the animals, with exercise habitats. Visitors can see the animals in the habitats or check the schedule to catch one of the training demonstrations that show how the sanctuary handlers safely work with these large and powerful creatures.

Practical info

Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary was founded by the Rosaire family, former animal trainers from the Rosaire Circus in England. The sanctuary is non-profit, providing protection and rehabilitation for exotic wildlife, and offers visitors access to see the animals in the afternoons, every Wednesday through Sunday.
