The tour was nice but we didn't see much and it was far too expensive for what we received. I would like to recommend a more coordinated tour so that people weren't running into each other. Also there needs to be more commentating. We received very little by way of information.

Also, see friendly manatees in their natural environment. It’s a favorite tour for all ages—great for the beginner or experienced paddler. The use of a kayak and life jacket is included.
I took my son and daughter and we had an amazing time. The adult courses were awesome and some were quite difficult but always had a blast. The youth course was also enjoyable for my 9 year old. The only thing I would say if you have a mixed group of youth and adult, is to have something for the youth to do while you are doing the adult version. My daughter got bored waiting for us, but she enjoyed her time when she went.

Despite the fact that I have lived in Sarasota area seasonally for 25 years I learned tons from the tour.

Despite the fact that I have lived in Sarasota area seasonally for 25 years I learned tons from the store. Both the driver Siggy and the tour guide Pat were humorous, a little cheesy at times, but very informative. Highly recommend
My husband and I had SO much fun on this tour. Derek, our tour guide, made the tour fun and made sure we didn’t miss out on any cool photo opportunities or fun knowledge about specific locations. And to top it off, we had THE PERFECT sunset!
Well worth the money!

Daniel was an excellent tour guide, took time and each stop giving the history. You didn’t feel rushed to get to the next stop. The Ringling tour of the grounds was a good overview and another couple that was with us had done the inside tour and highly recommended it. We’ll go back and do that on our own sometime. Daniel is also available for custom tours which is a nice option.

Our tour will always be led by a Florida Master Naturalist for coastal systems. We are passionate about what we do. We want to give you an experience that will create memories that'll last a lifetime. Your safety is our top priority but a close second is trying to get you to like our "office" (Sarasota Bay and the Mangrove Tunnels) as much as we do. We also feel that smaller tour groups are the way to go so we will limit the amount of people that can go on tour so you are never stuck at the back of a massive armada of kayaks. We have multiple guides and on busy days we will divide the tour into smaller groups for your enjoyment.
Although this park is primarily a wildlife refuge, it can be a personal refuge - a place to relax and collect shells along secluded, pristine beaches. Accessible only by private boat, Egmont Key has a unique natural and cultural history, including a lighthouse that has stood since 1858. During the 19th century, the island served as a camp for captured Seminoles at the end of the Third Seminole War and was later occupied by the Union Navy during the Civil War. In 1898, as the Spanish - American War threatened, Fort Dade was built on the island and remained active until 1923. After touring the historic sites and trails, visitors can enjoy swimming, wildlife viewing, and picnicking. Located at the mouth of Tampa Bay, northwest of Anna Maria Island.
Levi was the tour guide. He easily brought the group together and encouraged communications. Initially though that we should have visited more places but NO the 4 places we taste tested was perfect, the choices varied and all selections were very good
Thanks to our personable and knowledgeable guide Levi, this tour far exceeded our expectations. The foods samples were varied and delicious, the restaurant owners were gracious, and we learned so much about Sarasota! We definitely recommend this to anyone who likes unique experiences, and can’t wait to take the Twilight tour!
