Conquer the rugged terrain of the popular Broken Arrow Trail in Sedona in a 4WD vehicle during this tour. Bounce along and hang on tight as your guide points out the important landmarks and photo ops among the red rock formations.
Very cool experience, and one that I would ultimately recommend to others. That said, it was a little imbalanced that a party of 2 like my wife and I were placed in uncomfortable dining room chairs at a small and somewhat wobbly table, while a party of 4 was placed in two large and comfortable leather couches facing one another with a larger, lower coffee table in between. In a four hour trip, that makes a difference. Also, some of the best photo opps are not properly noted prior to happening, and require going through another car to the outdoor car, where some folks just stayed the whole time, cutting off the ability to get photos without people on the rail in the background.
Enjoy a 4-hour sightseeing journey by train aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad, which glides through the beautiful wilderness of the American Southwest near Sedona. Nibble light refreshments while traveling on the Verde Canyon Railroad through Arizona’s desert. Ride in a vintage train car or open-air viewing car to get a great perspective on the region’s natural and cultural treasures. See ancient cliff dwellings built by the Native American Sinagua people, historic mining sites and more as your train cruises along a route that follows the Verde River.
Antelope Canyon Original Tour and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona
, Jan 2020
Antelope Canyon and Horse Shoe Bend are stunning and certainly worth a visit. I understand that interest in Antelope Canyon has grown substantially in the last decade, resulting in a bit of a touristy feel. There will be multiple guided groups of 12-14 touring with you. There’s a bit more space at Horse Shoe Bend, but still crowds of tourists even in the off -season. If you’re booking from Sedona, it is a 3 hour drive each way. Plenty of good views to enjoy and Sheldon, our guide, provided great commentary along the way. The passenger van is a bit tight. You’ll be shoulder to shoulder with someone, so make sure it’s someone you like! Lol!
This was by far one of the best excursions I have ever taken. Very well organized with so much pure natural beauty. Antelope canyon is truly indescribable and the pictures don't really do justice to the wonder and beauty. Our guide, Lynn, was both knowledgeable and fun. My only recommendation would be to allow for more time at Horseshoe Bend. I could have used more time there to soak in the beauty. Otherwise it was spectacular. Definitely a "must do"!
Explore the natural wonders of Antelope Canyon, a narrow slot canyon carved by wind and water through the ages. A Navajo guide helps you photograph the shifting light and creamy colors of the sandstone canyon, a must-see amid the splendor of the American Southwest. Views of Glen Dam, Lake Powell, and Horseshoe Bend are included en route from Sedona.
Full Day: Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff
Informative and comfortable
, Feb 2020
An amazing tour. The Grand Canyon has been at the top of our bucket list forever. This tour was so much more. Mark explained the fascinating story of the geology and native peoples of the broader area in an engaging and easy to understand way. Having never considered myself a “tour” person, I am now a fan for life.
This tour was fantastic! Charlie was our tour guide but he was training two other guides who came from another company Burton and Frank. There were only two other couples in our group and so we weren’t crowded. The guides were so knowledgeable and we learned so much. The stops at the Canyon were awesome. Can’t say enough about the tour and the guides. I would book this tour without a thought.
Get a comprehensive view of the Grand Canyon and surrounding attractions during this day trip from Sedona. Take in views of the Painted Desert, see Native American ruins and volcanic lava flow fields. Ride in comfort along some of the country's most picturesque roads while listening to commentary from your guide. Entrance fees, lunch, and round-trip transportation from Sedona hotels included.
The Ultimate Grand Canyon Small Group Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff
Grand Canyon day trip review
, Dec 2019
DEC 28 2019 tour of Grand Canyon South Rim and Monuments, led by Arizona Tours Guide Cindy Morrow revealed the Grand Canyon in 23 degree winter splendor with crisp snow and clarity. National Park Service did a great job keeping roads and parking accessible. A once in a lifetime treat, Cindy made sure the tour group of nine was comfortable and accommodated. Narration on road trip highlighted natural features along the way and in the Grand Canyon. Recommended!
Due to weather, our tour deviated from seeing some of the highlights because of road closure. However, our tour guide Ty was full of knowledge from 27 years of experience. We were 9 in the van and Ty picked us up right on time. The sun came out often and the snow gave the Canyon so much more character. We had a great hot lunch with many different offerings. Because of road conditions, and we had never been to the Grand Canyon, taking this tour was the way to go if you're not familiar with this area. Thank you Ty for the wonderful day and great information.
This Grand Canyon day trip from Flagstaff or Sedona is limited to no more than 14 people, ensuring you enjoy a more personalized Grand Canyon experience. The tour blends ancient ruins, lava fields, majestic volcanoes, and amazing views throughout Grand Canyon National Park and the remarkable Painted Desert. Highlights include a drive along the South Rim and East Rim; visits to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument and Wupatki National Monument; and a Southwestern lunch at a historic Navajo reservation.
My bad. Had no clue that Vortex's weren't geological formations, but rather energy sources in the earth. The tour wasn't what I expected, but had I expected a mystical experience, I would rate it well done.
Thoroughly enjoyed the vortex tour. As a Reiki practitioner I have always wanted to experience the vortex's in Sedona. It did not disappoint! Lee was an exceptional guide, very warm and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour, and I would ask for Lee.

This is an opportunity to ride an ATV on a track. That part is fun for about 20 mins. However, I suggest that the word tour should be removed from the title. We weren’t told anything about the location or history. Lastly, the operation was unprofessional and haphazard. We were running an hour behind because the ATVs weren’t setup and ready to go.
We really enjoyed our ATV ride and loved our guide, George. We booked the 8am tour on Sunday and were the only two on the tour so it felt like a private tour. The tour lasted 3 hours, and we saw a ton of the area. George took the time to point out all the major places and to keep a pace that was fun but also comfortable as we were inexperienced ATV riders. I’d recommend this tour to anyone new to the Sedona area who is interested in seeing the red rocks from a different angle and covering a ton of ground in a short amount of time.
Unleash your inner adventurer on this ATV tour of western Sedona. Ride down a desert trail surrounded by red-rock bluffs, steep canyon walls, and trees to get to lookouts, vistas, and quiet locations away from the sightseeing crowds. See spots of Sedona that have been used as filming sites for more than 40 movies, and drive up to the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain.
Drive the dramatic Mogollon Rim on a small-group tour that follows a primitive wagon trail to spectacular views of Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. You’ll spot Snoopy Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Elephant Rock as you learn about plants, history, and legends from the local guide, pausing along the way to snap photos of the landscape. This adventurous tour is limited to 12 people for more personal service, with multiple departures available throughout the day.
Take an off-road tour with a professional guide, traveling through the desert backcountry of Sedona by Jeep. Admire towering red rock formations, ancient canyons and native American art in the Honanki Heritage Site, which dates back at least 700 years. Learn about the history and wildlife of this amazing landscape on your choice of a tour to see the ruins only, or a tour that also includes Diamondback Gulch. Several departure times make this easy to fit into your sightseeing schedule in Arizona's Red Rock Country.
As advertised, we saw the Chapel, Airport Mesa, and a drive-by commentary on sites as we drive past them. Our guide rattled on non-stop about irrelevant things. Several times (while on the road) she slowed the van to a
crawl while she talked.
Her watch was off; the Heritage Museum was closed when we got there.
This tour was absolutely amazing! I became very concerned in the beginning due to a miscommunication however, the situation was quickly and more than adequately rectified. Our tour guide Sheldon, was very knowledgeable of the area as well as accommodating and patient, being that I was traveling with my elderly mother. This was our first tour of the day . It exceeded our expectations so much that their really wasn't a need for the other tour we booked. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sedona area. Amazing!
Mark was very knowledgeable about the history of the area - fact and fiction alike. He picked us up at our hotel for a private tour. We did not feel rushed at all the sites we stopped at and he went over the time allotted to give us a complete tour. Will definitely recommend him and will call him when I return to the area.

You have to see the canyon to believe it and even then it's hard to wrap your head around it.
, Jan 2020
Our tour guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable, a great tour guide! I don't think there was a single question he couldn't answer. So glad we booked this tour. There was so much we would have missed had we done it on our own.
This was a really great day trip from Sedona. Our guide, J. R. had plenty of entertaining stories for the long drive, about 2 hours one way. As a lifelong local, he knew a lot and we enjoyed listening to him. The rim visits were spectacular and J.R. was happy to help us get great pictures. He also brought along a telescope so we could look a little closer. A high point for me was our stop at the Kolb Brothers studio and of course, El Tovar lodge. I felt like the pace was perfect and J.R. knee exactly where to take us for the best photos and experiences.
Our guide Mark is a walking Google! He is a wealth of information. He made the entire bus ride interesting all the way Through. He took us to seven amazing scenic points! Anyone thinking about renting a car, and doing the canyon on your own, don't!

Fantastic! Nick our driver was awesome; witty, knowledgeable, and fun. The jeep ride was perfect for our family from granny down to mid twenty grands. The company was wonderful to work with - very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time - in spite of the rain! I definitely recommend this!
Arizona Safari Jeep Tour is a first rate company. Our guide Doc was extremely knowledgeable and projected a true respect and love for the Red Rock area. Answered all questions and gave a huge amount of information. Would recommend for any visitor.
We enjoyed the tour a lot - Michael was very informative and really knew his history! He was able to answer our questions with knowledge and wit. We saw everything we wanted to see in the way we wanted to see it. The office staff were very fun and friendly. They had the most social turtle we've ever seen and Rose the pet tarantula was also a treat.

Brad brought showed us 4 Vortex areas once we told him what tour we paid for!
, Sep 2019
We did get to see 4 Vortex sites , including the Chapel in the Rock and get close to Cathedral Rock on this tour and Brad(Tour Guide) was informative, however we booked with Earth Wisdom Tours and they sent us to their sister company Red Rock Tours. Once we arrived and got going, it seemed like Brad was totally unaware as to what tour we booked and what the tour we booked was about!

Enjoyed the information shared and the use of the Night Goggles. Saw many images moving about in the distant sky that did not appear to be Airplanes as there was no apparent blinking of multicolor lights visible. Makes one wonder as to the reality of situations presented to us by the Government that we rely on. It really makes one wonder.
Our hostess for this tour was simply delightful and knowledgeable. Our viewing took place on a perfectly clear night. Chatting away with the group was captivating, and we viewed the skies with the coolest gear. Would do it again!!

We were picked by Steve at a hotel at Sedona to Williams, to catch the train which took us to the Grand Canyon. Lunch and water was given out prior to boarding the train. Although the scenery was reasonably good along the way, it became monotonous after a while. We were a bit disappointed that we did not see the Grand Canyon at any time during the train trip. At the Grand Canyon Train Depot, we left the train and was given about three quarter of an hour to see the Canyon. Steve Took us to see the Canyon at several different spots, Bright Angel Trailhead, Pipe Creek Vista, Moran Point and Finally at the Desert View Watchtower. He escorted us on these short hikes, told us valuable information about the Canyon. We saw the Colorado river cutting and running through the Canyon at several sports. I would rate the group van tour as superb, but the train trip as OK. We most strongly recommend Steve Benson as a guide (Great Venture Tours) for the Grand Canyon Tour. He is the best guide we have even seen - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good time management.
My wife and I wanted to see the Grand Canyon and were pointed by our friend to check out your tour..... and we are glad we did. The train ride was nostalgic and the different views shown to us by our guide could not have been better......
Speaking of tour guides .... Sheldon was nothing short of amazing....full of facts, gracious, and made you feel like you were family.
Do not miss this tour and if want a guaranteed perfect day .... ask for Sheldon!
