Food is a huge part of South Korean culture, so to really immerse yourself in city life you need to scout out the sikdang (restaurants) where locals eat - and to do that you’ll need a Host by your side! Feast on street eats, Korean bbq, food “towns” and centuries old dishes like kalguksu, a soup made of handmade noodles and anchovy-based broth or the city famous ‘garlic bomb chicken stew’! You’ll have the opportunity to see some of the coolest neighbourhoods like Insadong, famous for its street food creations, Ikseondong, a neighbourhood which is famous for its Hanok style cafe street and Jongno, a district known to be where you can find some of the best traditional dishes like dumplings and noodle soup.
