Santa Cruz District

Whitewashed buildings, maze-like streets, and courtyards lined with orange trees: No place really defines Seville charm quite like the streets of the Santa Cruz district. As the city's former judería, or Jewish quarter, it is home to many of ...

This tour was worth every penny! Our guide, Raquel, was SO good! She spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and professional - her father grew up in the Barrio de Santa Cruz. She also took pictures of us when we asked and provided us with a great late night cocktail recommendation - Hotel EME - which has an incredible view of the Giralda Tower.

Our Private walking tour with Antonio was fabulous! A real hi-light of our trip to Spain. Antonio was knowledgeable and entertaining. We had skip-the-line visits at the Royal Alcazar and the Cathedral Santa Maria and a lot of fun walking around the Santa Cruz area. Seville was wonderful and I would highly recommend the city, this tour and Antonio!

Nice combination of bus and walking. Bus to get to the far away things like Plaza Espana - a must see and walking around within the Santa cruz historical area. Good opportunity to rest/take resfreshments and use facilities which is important in a 3 hour tour. My only issue was that the tour we had booked was advertised as being in English when in fact most of the talking was done in Spanish with a shortened English version afterwards. the tour leader tried her best to get both languages out quickly but the reality was that sometimes we had passed the particular site when the English version came out. I think it would be better to have a morning group in one language and an afternoon one in the other. Enjoyable none the less and without a car we would have found it difficult to get around all the sights in our short 2 day stay in Seville.

This is the worst tour ever. First of all, this is a large group. The tour guide spoke 3 languages. The English version is shortened. Then, we took a walking tour at Santa Cruz where she told us to use the restrooms. By the time I came out, the tour group was gone! The tour guide didnot make an effort to wait for me at any of the following sight point. Just left me in the middle of no where. When i called the office, the was no one speak English! This happened all before I visited the Cathedral and the Alcazar. So I had to wait in line to purchase my own tickets. I sent an email to Viator and did not received any apology or response after two weeks. The one star is for the sight of Seville. A beautiful city!
