Sunrise Small-Group Tour of Angkor Wat from Siem Reap
From $26.00 (Price varies by group size )
The visit to Bayoun tempe
, Jan 2020
We had this trip with a wonderful guide Mr. Savoon. He gave a complete description about things asked. He gave enough time for us to enjoy just about everything that we want to while on this tour without losing any of it. So we felt really lucky to have him as our guide for this tour. Thank you Mr. Savoon.
Excellent tour picked up from hotel on time,Bob our guide was brilliant took us to the best position to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat,Bob was very knowledgable and gave us great insights into the meanings of different temple stone drawings etc all in all a really brilliant day.Thank you
This tour was fabulous from start to finish.
we took the lesser known route into Angkor Wat, met no-one until we were actually at the small make waiting for the sun to come up.
The guide was very informative and looked after us throughout.
The UNESCO-listed Angkor Wat is the star attraction of Cambodia and the magnificent temple complex is even more atmospheric at sunrise. This full-day small-group tour from Siem Reap makes an early start to avoid the crowds and visits highlights including Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and Bayon temple (entrance fees at your expense). Hotel pickup and drop-off is included.
The Phare Cambodian Circus should be a must on the itinerary. It is a very enjoyable show. The coordination and dance moves really hold your attention. The artists are really good. Ensure that you book your tickets online ahead of time and pick the front center seats for a good view.
Be mesmerized by the captivating choreography and hypnotic color of a Phare performance in Siem Reap. Feast your senses on a spectacle that blends riveting theater with folk music and distinctly Cambodian stories. Commend the determination of the young circus artists, many of who are from challenging social and economic backgrounds, as they hypnotize the audience with their energy and emotion. Gain insight into the charity Phare Ponleu Selpak and discover the work the organization does to help vulnerable children and adults in Cambodian society.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend! Our guide San was very knowledgeable, set a comfortable pace to accommodate all within the group and was very detail oriented when explaining notable things at each site. The tour itinerary was well planned with a comfortable lunch break in the middle -- the restaurant was quite tourist oriented but I'm not sure there are many options within the temple complex.
One minor point of feedback for the tour company: it would be great if they could proactively confirm pickup times the day before via email; we had to call the company and confirm ourselves.
Exploring the UNESCO-listed Angkor Temples is a must for visitors to Siem Reap and this small-group tour ensures a more personalized experience. Stand in awe before the legendary temple of Angkor Wat, admire the sculpted façade of Bayon temple, and discover the atmospheric jungle temple of Ta Prohm.
Our guide Mr. Sin Peng Eang was delightful. Picked up at time stated, warm welcome and comfortable van. Mr Sin was knowledgable and enthusiastic and made the day whizz by. The sights of Angkor are amazing and this was a great way to see them in a relatively short time. Lunch very tasty. Yes it was very warm, but there is iced water and wet wipes each time you return to the van. Also toilet breaks! Highly recommend.
You need to visit the temples with an amazing guide named Mr Sok Chea ! He is one the finest guide I have ever came across. From the history of the temples to taking amazing pictures, he is just perfect. Plus we were a nice lil group of 6 people. Perfect tour for a short stay in Siem reap.
This was a fantastic trip - Sin was a great guide with lots of interesting facts and knowledge! I could not believe how different each of the temples was, and was so grateful to get the opportunity to see some of these world heritage sites!
The UNESCO-listed Angkor Archeological Site is a highlight of any visit to Cambodia, with temples and sculptures that sprawl across 150 square miles (400 square km.). This full-day, small-group tour makes it possible to explore the complex in one day with a professional historian guide. In addition to visiting Angkor’s architectural highlights, take in jungle-shrouded buildings.
We visited Kmpong Phluk in the dry season so our tour was on foot. Very interesting to see how all the homes were built on stilts. We did have a boat tour out to see Tonle sap Lake and a short canoe ride with a local. It would be worth coming back to see the village during the wet season; it would be completely different. Be sure to take a car or mini van tour, not a tuk tuk. The ride by van was 35 minutes and at some points we saw people having to get out of their tuk tuk and walk up small hill's bcz the tuk tuk couldn't handle the extra weight. Our tour guide Chausan was excellent- try to request him. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
Cruise Tonle Sap Lake to Kompong Phluk on a half-day tour from Siem Reap, and explore the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. See communities that thrive at the edge of the water, pass floating schools and markets, and visit a local home to get a glimpse of daily life and culture. This half-day Kompong Phluk tour includes all activities, as well as pickup and drop-off at Siem Reap hotels, and both morning and afternoon departures are available.
Guided Angkor Temple Bike Tour from Siem Reap Inclusive of Lunch
Guided Angkor Temple Bike Tour
, Jan 2020
Country side bicycling showing real life and housing. Nice local lunch. Temple visits with beautiful sights and interesting facts and storytelling by our guide Samnang Chan. Excellent way of spending a day
We rode with Chen and some lovely travelers to 3 temples. Chen was a very informative guide - he knew a ton about the temples and shared with us some key insights to understanding current Cambodian culture. Highly recommend!
We are so happy we took this tour! Biking turned out to be a phenomenal way to see the temples because we saw the countryside all around them, more than if we had taken a bus. Biking through the very large, impressive gates on either side of the temple complex was an experience I won’t forget! And the exercise was also nice! Our tour guide was very informative and happily answered our many, many questions (we’re history buffs).
I would do this tour again tomorrow if I could!

I actually enjoyed this cooking class! The visit to the market was extremely different from western culture. The kitchen space at the house was lovely! I learned some new tricks and recipes! The host was awesome

2-Day Angkor Wat Small, Big Circuit and Banteay Srei Tour
From $105.25 (Price varies by group size )
, Jan 2020
Sam was amazing in providing a private tour and insights into the history of ankor wat. The second day of temple is a must as well and the guide adapted to spending more or less time where we preferred :) The customer service was exceptional in also arranging to pick us up from the airport on the first day instead of the hotel for an small fee. Would highly recommend this tour and our guide and driver Sam 1 and Sam 2!
So easy, fun and great to see to many temples it really took the stress out of us having to organise it and know which temples were best to see etc. Guide was so knowledgeable and gave a real insight into the history and life in Cambodia !
We loved this 2 day guided tour of the Siem Reap temples with our wonderful guide Sokheim Neim and courteous driver, Sril. We learned about the history, architecture, religion and community and social life of a number of the extraordinary temples in the Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom cities. As it was so hot, it was fantastic to come back from a 2 hour temple visit to a comfortable air conditioned car, cool towels and cold water. "Pappa" Niem was informative and interesting, and he and the driver were always professional and punctual, even at 5am for the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Really enjoyed this tour.
Day tours to the Angkor Archeological Complex often rush through the two circuits on offer, which means that you don’t have the time to truly appreciate the history around you. Make the most of the sights on this private tour to the complex, spread out over two days. On the first day, enjoy the temples and ruins on the Small Circuit, including Ta Prohm and Ta Nei. Start the second day with sunrise views of Angkor Wat before exploring the temples on the Big Circuit.
Full day Angkor Sunrise Bike Tour Inclusive of Jungle Breakfast & Lunch
Great day but know what you are signing up for
, Jan 2020
I loved seeing the sun rise over Angkor Wat and then touring the temple which had been on my bucket list for many years. The reason I say know what you are signing up for is because we did 22 km through the jungle on a mountain bike which even me who is in pretty good shape was tired and very sore at the end of the day. If you can handle it this tour is a lot of fun.
I loved this day! I thought biking was so fun and a great way to get from temple to temple, as well as take in additional sights such as local landmarks and villages. Grasshopper took care of every detail for us. Would highly recommend! I do think our tour guide could have been a bit more thorough in some places on the temple tours but I think part of that may have been due to a language barrier, and it was great that he was a local of the area.
Get an early start to watch the morning light splash over Angkor Wat’s triple towers, a fantastic beginning to your full-day bicycling tour among the ruins of the Angkor Kingdom. Your local guide leads you through the Angkor Archaeological Park, showing you several iconic temples in the sprawling complex. Stop to stroll around different sites and examine intricate stone carvings and statues. Your small-group tour is limited to six participants, and includes a Western breakfast and Khmer lunch, and round-trip transport by minivan from Siem Reap.
This was a good trip overall to get out of the busy city. Beautiful country side. But the guide did not share much about the area, and I had to look up most of what we saw on the internet when we got back to the hotel. There was also a money issue at the local restaurant, the guide was worthless and did not help.

Sunset Dinner on Tonle Sap Lake with a Floating Village Tour
, Jan 2020
Really enjoyable trip. Picked up on time from the hotel, interesting tour of a lotus farm before riding in the river boat around the floating village. Lovely stop for sunset on a beautiful old ship, great drinks and food before the trip back. Your was excellent and a great experience.
Overall I felt as if the tour was rushed and a lot of time wasn’t spent at the places we stopped. We were so far from the floating villages while “passing by”. I would have to say my expectations def didn’t meet reality. I wish we could’ve got closer or spent some time there. However, the sunset was amazing from the boat while eating. The unlimited drinks were a great bonus! The bartender was so cute, I had to tip him personally. Reminded me of a cute lil grandpa
Thanks for a lovely tour! Everything, from food and drinks to the lake visit was top quality.
We were mostly impressed with the tour guide! He told us a lot of things about Khmer culture that we didn't know. Only think I would suggest to dismiss is the crocodile farm, I think we shouldn't support this kind of "animals for entertainment / tourism" initiatives.
Besides that, it was one of the best tours we have been to, a beautiful memory from Cambodia we would never forget.
Experience the magic of Tonle Sap Lake at twilight on this romantic 4-hour dinner cruise from Siem Reap, including hotel pick-up. First, enjoy a small boat cruise around the floating village, lotus fields and crocodile farms of Chong Khneas. Then, board the Taras floating restaurant for a delicious buffet dinner and enjoy unlimited cocktails as you watch the sunset over the lake.
You simply can’t come to Siem Reap without a visit to the Angkor Wat Archeological Park, but the magnificent temples aren’t the only highlight. Get your adrenaline pumping on this half-day zip-line adventure and soar through the Angkor rainforest on a series of 21 thrilling zip lines, sky bridges, and abseils, enjoying spectacular views over the jungle.
I highly recommend this tour, and I would like to especially commend our tour guide, MR. T!!! The tour guides in Cambodia by our experience are generally passionate and knowledgeable, but Mr T is certainly the best. Very kind, passionate, witty and funny. We experienced a roller coaster of emotions during the tour. Also, he knows where and how to take the best pics. Big thumbs up!
This tour allowed me to see the sites I wanted to see in one day. Be mindful the staff did a good job to cover all the area on my list and the food was also great. Not included with this package but still the food was great. I would recommend you get What’s app to be able to link up with your tour guide about pick up time and location. They only down side was the tour guide when on with personal conversations and minimal knowledge about the locations which I felt it may have taken time away from being able to take more pictures of the sites. Again I was able to cover all sites I wanted to see and depart for a flight later that day. You have to be willing to adjust to a fast pace if you are going to take on a tour like this. All in all pretty good tour.
Explore the key sites of the UNESCO-listed Angkor Wat complex (admission at your own expense) during this small-group tour. Learn about the history of Cambodia and Siem Reap from your tour guide as you visit the Terrace of the Elephants, South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Ta Prohm Temple, and much more. This tour also offers the opportunity to watch the sunrise over the ancient temples as well as hotel pickup and drop-off.
Good package to get if you plan on going to Angkor Wat
, Oct 2019
Good trip. Angkor Wat is a must see if in Cambodia. It’s better to do it with transport and a guide as to do it solo would take you much longer as the complex is so big. This works out value for money as the transfer not only takes you there but at some points of the tour drives you from temple to temple.

Then we visit Ta Prom, the most picturesque and attractive ruins taken over by jungle and big trees overgrown its structure. It is also known as the Tomb Raider temple, which was made famous by Angelina Jolie, of course. Feel like one of the early explorers as you visit this temple which has been left to be reclaimed by the jungle. And thee last one is Banteay kdie templ
The agency was easy to communicate with. The tickets were not at our hotel on arrival but came that evening after I emailed. Unfortunately they said there were no three day tickets for my dates so I ended up buying the 7 days which with the agency fee was very expensive. On top of that there was no ticket queue on the day we went (Feb 2029) and tickets were obviously available
well worth paying the extra $23 dollars for the 3 day pass as we wanted it to use from day 1 (After arriving late night the day prior from bangkok). The team at the travel agency were prompt and constantly in touch.. thank you
Save the hassle of visiting the ticket office by buying your 1-, 3-, or 7-day Angkor Archaeological Park pass in advance. Rather than waiting in line to purchase your pass on the day—particularly inconvenient if you’re heading to Angkor Wat for sunrise—your pass is delivered to your hotel the night before your visit, meaning you can go directly to temples such as Ta Prohm and Banteay Samre without wasting time.

The tour takes you to the four major temples in Seam Reap. Mr Chet was fantastic and knowledgable guide. He not just explains you the history of temples and Cambodia, but also a hospitable host who gives clean wipes and cold water after every excursion. He takes great pictures.

Had à Great tour with our private guide. It Washington however very tiring and we decided against the sunset part as it involved à further climb. The tour was amazing and our guide gave us alot of information.

Half Day Join-In Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour by Minibus
, Dec 2019
Angkor wat at sunrise is beautiful and well worth getting up early. We were picked up at 4:30am on the dot. Be prepared there are A LOT of people. Our tour guide was a lovely man but he talked too much and there was lots of hanging around in the blistering heat before we could actually get inside. Lots of his stories were irrelevant or were about things we already knew about, Buddism for example. By the end of the tour it was clear people were fed up and not really listening. Despite this he seemed nice and was very organised. The 3 temple sites we visited were amazing and we have lots of great pics. Please note that entry to Angkor Wat is not included in this tour and will cost you 37 dollars per person.
From pick up to drop off, our guide Mr YOUK was ever attentive, ever smiling and throughout the tour exhibited indepth knowledge of the Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, and Bayon.
He patiently answered our queries and most times with a dash of humour making the tour a delightfully unhurried and " free and easy " one .Thank you Mr. YOUK and wishing you every success!
The temples at the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park have almost a thousand years of history, so a guided tour is a good way to learn as much as possible about the temples’ art and architecture. On this shared tour, your APSARA authorised guide takes you to the highlights of the three main temples.
