Was a very good experience allowing a good general overview of Singapore. The only issue was having to travel to Suntec City to redeem tickets which wasted time when we could have been on the bus, this requirement was not mentioned at time of booking. Tickets should be redeemable at hotels also.
Good way to get around but info is pretty light...
, Jan 2020
Not all plugs work for the head phones and drivers constantly talk over the commentary so that you can't hear it. They could include lots more info about sights along the way. Tried to get a copy of the maps online beforehand to plan the day but could not access or have them sent...company never replied to my email. Stopped at Botanical Gardens and Orchid display - highly recommend (on yellow line). We always take Hop on Hop off buses but his was not one of the best. Lots of room for improvement.
Go sightseeing at your own pace on this Singapore hop-on hop-off tour. Choose from either a 24-or 48-hour ticket, and enjoy the flexibility to explore the city across two different bus routes. While you’re on the open-top double-decker bus, listen to narration about the sights, and then hop off when you want to visit attractions on your own.
Perfect half day tour to see all the sights and figure out which ones to go back to later. Bus picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the staging place with the larger bus that would take us to the sights. Well worth the time and money as we went back to most of the places later in the week.
Interesting City but very poor transport this tour.
, Jan 2020
The tour bus used had too many seats collapsing back and the stickers on the windows made viewing difficult. Botanic Gardens were the highlight but visit to Little India was a little disappointing with the tea drinking especially poor.
Take a Singapore city tour to orient yourself with popular districts like Chinatown, Little India and Marina Bay. A great activity for the start of your trip, this half-day tour introduces you to top attractions like the Merlion, colonial landmarks like City Hall and cultural sites like Thian Hock Keng Temple. A stop at the UNESCO-listed botanical gardens is also included along the way.
Got off a cruise at 8 am and flight home wasn’t until 9:30 pm. Had a shuttle from cruise port to airport, stored our luggage, and headed out. No stop is real close to airport so we took a taxi to stop #1 for all the routes. Because I use Viator for many of my excursions we had booked this two days before. The only downside is that the green line doesn’t have any commentary. Some headphone connections were better than others. The young girl working the ticket stand was excellent. They seem to schedule the lunch about the same time, but she came over to be sure we knew which bus was leaving when. Some drivers a bit better than others in that they make sure everyone is down from upstairs or on the sidewalk wanting to get on before pulling away.
The variety of routes and the ability to hop on and off at a number of different points, changing routes whenever is great. You don’t want to be sitting upstairs in the uncovered seating in the hot sun without a hat or some sort of cover though.
Underground is no way to experience Singapore. See the sights with ease and hop off at the ones that take your fancy with the Big Bus Singapore. Enjoy a 1-day hop-on hop-off experience with the classic ticket; add on two walking tours to Chinatown and Little India with the 2-day premium ticket; or get all of the above plus a guided night city tour with the deluxe ticket. Upgrade to a combo deal to include tickets to top Singapore attractions.
Singapore Night Out: Music & Light show, Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, River Taxi
it was an ok night out
, Feb 2020
i met the group at marina bay sands gardens which there were no signs that i was in the right spot, that would have been less frustrating, then we were walked up the path and told to meet back at a certain time, then after the light show we were bussed to the skywalk where there was some issues with the lady in charge and the other lady who was trying to translate to her group what our guide was saying, it got really tense. the queue for the sky walk was pretty short but the taking of all the pictures and all made it seem longer and then after coming down after only about 12 minutes up there was another long line of trying to sell overpriced pictures, then we were waiting but never were told about a bathroom break or getting something to nibble on or even if we had time, this should have been told before we left to go in the first place then we walked out to the boat which was a nice little ride at night taken over to clarke quay where all the action was, we were told we could stay there or get back on the bus, the lady seemed to not care, i stayed in clarke quay which was all great. i cant remember what i paid but im sure it was adequate for what we got . i feel it could have been a little more personal and fun and more informative. the guide was a fast speaker and not great english. it was ok for a nite out and not knowing what to do
This tour is to three separate location highlights, on a fairly tight schedule and takes place in a crowded environment. To be effective it requires an experienced guide with good, clear communication skills and participants who have reasonable mobility, are prepared to listen, and stay close as the guide has all the entry tickets. Our group of 19 had all the above plus the guide's 3 foot pole with double red lights for added identity so the results were fabulous.
Marvel at the illuminated sights of Singapore during a night tour. Explore top attractions with a knowledgeable guide, including a synchronized light and music show at the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. Visit the Sands Skypark Observation Deck and finish with a cruise on the Singapore River.
Great way to get a taste of what Singapore has to offer. Driver was excellent and tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and kept the program moving. Highly recommend! Great way to start a trip to make plans on what you want to return to. Went with my aunts, uncles and cousin (all adults) and everyone enjoyed it.

, Jan 2020
We were just the 2 of us (my husband & myself). ST our guide/driver was slap on time & knows the history of Singapore. It was ideal being dropped off right in front of the places of interest & then picked up after 20/30mins depending on our interests. One cld spend a whole leisurely day at the botanical gardens though! The 4 hours flew by on rosy wings!

Shun airport food for some delicious local treats at a nearby hawker center, soak up the hectic energy of Chinatown, get your cultural kicks in Little India or stretch out those legs in the Supertree Grove.

Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
Dinner buffet was decent with selections from many cultures, but limited withing the culture. I don't like the hotel pickup system because you end up going to a collection point and then put on a different bus. Same thing with the return to the hotel. Animal viewing was pretty good with very few animals not visible.
The Night Safari was a unique experience! This proved to be an opportunity to view the animals when they were at rest in the twilight of the evening. We got a chance to see the animals close up and you almost felt like you were intruding on their space. It was an exciting and pleasant evening.
Use your skip-the-line pass to the Night Safari tram for priority boarding, and spend your time exploring the nighttime rainforest rather than waiting in line. Just hop right aboard for a family-friendly journey into the world of nocturnal animals, including lions, tigers, and leopards in specially designed habitats. Disembark for a closer look along softly lit jungle trails, enjoy animal shows and cultural demonstrations, and feast on a dinner buffet. Round-trip transport from major hotels in Singapore is included.
This excursion takes their guests to so many different places using different modes of transportation!
, Feb 2020
This evening tour is one of the very best!! Florence was great! Tour was so well organized, we visited so many different exciting areas of Singapore in one evening, including, by way of a fabulous long trishaw ride and gorgeous 40 minute river cruise! Also Included shopping time and all started with a very good dinner. Terrific!!!!
The ride was so much fun. My 'driver' was very entertaining - he would add to the recorded commentary. Lovely man. Enjoyed learning all about Little India. Great evening. Worth doing for the lights, sounds and smells afforded to an open air transport, the fun of being on a Rickshaw and learning about the history of Little India. Thank you.
Experience central Singapore during the vibrant evening hours with this Chinatown tour by trishaw and riverboat. With a guide, walk through the bustling Night Market and learn about the history of Singapore’s Chinatown. Shop for bargains as you wander through this captivating district, indulge in dinner, and take a thrilling trishaw ride through Little India and Bugis Village. Then, cruise along the Singapore River on a bumboat to admire the city skyline lit up at night.
Singapore Super Saver: Night Safari and River Safari
Two great experiences in one dat
, Feb 2020
Loved both of experiences and doing both the river and night safari made for a long day but totally worth it. Had extra time at the river safari so could do the extra boat trip around the lake. The animals looked well treated. The night safari was like nothing experienced before.
The program was OK to start, we like the River Safari, but less so with the Night Safari. Especially after the Night Safari tram ride, the tour guide asked everyone to stay for additional 1.5 hours or so to wait for other people who want to explore more (on our own without the tour guide service). While we were already very tired, we don’t see the reason to wait for many different groups of people to get collected together to come back on the same transportation. We finally decided to come back by taxi on our own expense.
Combine two of Singapore’s top attractions in one animal-filled day on this Super Saver. Spend the afternoon and evening at some of the most popular wildlife experiences in Asia—the River Safari and the Night Safari, affiliated with the Singapore Zoo. At River Safari, see more than 300 animal species from the world’s freshwater river environments, from Amazon manatees to Chinese giant pandas. Then head to Night Safari for a tram ride—with skip-the-line admission—past open habitats where nocturnal animals spend their waking hours. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
Walking around steamy Singapore can be a sweaty business. Beat the heat, catch the breeze, and cover lots of ground on this guided mini-Segway tour. See Singapore highlights including Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion statue, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, and the Esplanade as your guide explains the city’s history, heritage, and culture.

This magical night tour is absolutely a must for everyone!
, Jan 2020
This tour is absolutely a must for anyone who visits Singapore! We fell in love with this beautiful country and its culture thanks to this well organized tour! Our guide, Stanley, was great - knowledgeable, professional, punctual, friendly highly motivated! He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every minute of this wonderful excursion!
We highly recommend this magical night tour for everyone, both adults and children!
Although all of the venues were very crowded, our guide, T.C., and his driver were able to get us to all of the listed sights and to provide friendly and informative commentary. This is a great tour to get a general idea of Singapore. The sound and light show at the Trees is the highlight of the tour.
Make the most of a short amount of time in Singapore on this private nighttime sightseeing tour, perfect for overnight layovers or as a family-friendly alternative to nightlife. Amazing Singapore City Guided Tour with Hotel Transfers
It was an excellent tour!
, Jan 2020
Our guide was excellent! She was knowledgeable, friendly and had a delightful of humor. She patiently explained each of the attractions and answered any questions that the members of the group asked. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire excursion.
This tour is nice to have a quick view of Singapore. I would recommend to skip little India stop since is not interesting. The guide that we had for this tour was one of the worst ever, he was talking about money for every attraction (this has cost so much, this so much etc) and what I didn't like was that he was too severe for the time-schedule, a group of 3 people was 1 min late and i wanted to leave them there and depart with the bus.....
Discover the cultural mix that makes Singapore special on this small-group guided tour, with hotel transfers to keep things simple. Soak up the sights and scents of Little India; stroll the streets of historic Chinatown; and savor the surreal skyline of Marina Bay. Wrap up the day with a visit to Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanical Garden & National Orchid Garden. Choose between morning and afternoon departures.

Our tour guide and experience in Singapore was over the top!! I wish I had a way to say how absolutely great our tour guide was, how accommodating he was, how knowledgeable he was and just how great he made us feel during the day. He truly made our experience in Singapore a memory for a life time.
Our guide, Jeff, was just great. He was gracious, accommodating, knowledgeable and just a nice person.
Since our cruise was cancelled, it was the highlight of our trip. If he is an example of your staff, we will use your services often. Thank you again for selecting Jeff as our guide.

My teenage son proclaimed Monica "the best tour guide he's ever had!"
, Sep 2019
My normally jaded, usually non-communicative teenage son loved this tour. We had some flight problems and ended up getting in late on the day we had booked this for, but the company and the guide were very accommodating in working with us to find an adjusted schedule that worked. We got our heads filled with history, culture, food, art, music, religion, and all the highlights. We used public transportation, and did LOTS of walking. Monica tailored the tour to fit the divergent interests of me and my son, and made sure everyone was happy. In fact, the tour company sent out a questionnaire before assigning a guide to make sure they gave us a person who would best suit our style and interests. They hit it out of the park!
This day tour with a local host is an ideal outing for first-time visitors to Singapore, or those with a short stay in the city. Leave the guidebook behind because your guide for the day is a knowledgeable local, who will take you to must-see sites and spots that are lesser-known to visitors. Your guide will also show you the very best places to eat, and give you tips for the rest of your stay.

The tour guide gave it a 100%. He was personal and very informative. This was best tour I have ever had on Viator and worth every penny. He was promptat pick up and spent all his time with us on a one to one basis The tour is 10 times better than the other tours offered . I would assure anyone this is a great tour of the city
Kenny Chen is extremely knowledgeable, interesting and patient. My husband has COPD and Kenny was very mindful of that. We not only learned of the many cultures of Singapore, but got to taste great food. Wish we had more time to explore Singapore with Kenny.
I really enjoyed hanging out in Singapore with Eliza, she was very knowledgeable and personable. She took me just where I wanted to go, a few tourist sites but mostly local eats, which I enjoyed. She also was able to customize the drop point at the Orchid Garden which was a change on the fly. Highly recommend her tour!

A full day in Singapore with a local: private & personalized
From $160.04 (Price varies by group size )
, Nov 2019
Had a brilliant day with our guide Priscilla who adjusted her pace to fit our slower walking speed and yet managed to fit in all we had asked for and more. We were able to use public transport and saw so much that we would never have found on our own. She helped us find shopping items, took us to an authentic and cheap eatery for a delicious lunch. Singapore has several districts each with a distinct personality and we experienced them all, finishing with the Sky Gardens which were much larger than we had expected and totally mind blowing. We only had one full day to spend in Singapore and wanted to cram in as much as possible, so we cannot thank Priscilla enough for making this visit such a wonderful experience. We easily organised and paid for this tour before we left England and would definitely recommend Viator to anyone who wants a hassle free personalised tour.
Get more out of your visit to Singapore with a customized full-day tour led by your own private guide who creates an itinerary that suits your interests. Choose to visit top destinations such as Marina Bay Sands Skypark, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, and Tiong Bahru, or go to other places that you would like to explore. Benefit from the personalized attention of your guide throughout the day.
Singapore Night Safari with Priority Tram Boarding & Return Transfer
, Feb 2020
The night safari itself was enjoyable, but getting there wasn’t great. The bus had seen better days, the seats were not secure and very uncomfortable. The guide was quietly spoken and I don’t think the microphone was working very well as I could not understand what he was saying, which was very frustrating. He did make sure that we all understood he would leave at exactly 10pm however and would not wait even one minute for latecomers. Disappointed.
The guide we had was fantastic- helping with transportation, getting tickets, getting fast tram etc.
The issue we had was trying to find out when our pick was, since no one called us or sent email as promised.
Firstly drivers were punctual. 2ndly the priority tram boarding got us onto the tram in less than 10mins. Thirdly enjoy looking for/at the wild animals rather than trying to get a good pic as ‘flashes’ are not allowed. Finally temperatures are slightly lower in the evenings which makes the walk around quite pleasant. Must add we had a great guide, Shiva 👏
Don’t miss the Singapore Night Safari, one of Singapore’s top family attractions, located next to the Singapore Zoo. You’ll explore the jungle park on an open-air tram, catching sight of nocturnal animals in authentically created habitats. Then follow a guide on a walking trail to see leopards and other wildlife up-close. You can also watch one of the nightly shows, and you have the option to upgrade to include dinner at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.
Get beneath Singapore’s skin in a way that’s only possible with a local to connect you on this insightful private tour that goes beyond the obvious to deliver hidden gems. You might meet a third-generation spice maker, tour an opera house turned hotel, get behind the scenes at a garland maker in Little India, or explore Singapore’s best hawker court. Travel by public transport for an authentically local experience.
