Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Full-Day VIP Tour from Ho Chi Minh city
, Feb 2020
The van to transport us from place to place was amazing, recliner seats with massage chairs built into them. The tunnels were very good to see and we were provided great information. The visit to the Mekong delta in the afternoon was a relaxing way to end the day.
This day trip was our highlight in Ho Chi Minh city! We packed SO much into one day and never wasted a moment. Our guide Ben was absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and could tell that he loved what he was doing! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! It was a great way to immerse ourselves in Vietnamese culture.
The best way to tour Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta
, Feb 2020
The best way to tour 2 of Vietnam's highlights in a single day. Our guide, Mr. Cung, was hysterical and very informative. The van was the best transportation I've ever had on a guided tour - extremely nice and comfortable. You learn so much about the American-Vietnam War and seeing and learning about life in the tunnels is very powerful. The lunch and snacks provided were excellent. Would highly recommend!
Visit two major attractions of southern Vietnam—one historical, one natural, both cultural—on this full-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the tunnel system and learn about its role as a hospital, living quarters, storage, and more during wartime, and then cruise through the canals of the delta on a motorboat and rowboat to visit a village.
Cu Chi Tunnels: Morning or Afternoon Guided Tour (Ben Duoc Option available)
, Feb 2020
This trip is a must, while staying in Ho Chi Mihn. Everything went smoothly, our guide was very friendly informative. Found the whole experience very interesting. The tunnels are small inside but you can do as little or as much as you wish. The firing range is an optional extra but well worth the experience. Recommend comfortable footwear and mosquito repellent.
Great experience. We did the
Cu Chi Tunnels - Less Touristy Route (Morning). BAUnny was our guide and she was VERY knowledgeable (she knew more than we did about American history). Friendly, helpful and funny. A great day, offered at a great value. Highly recommended.
Great trip. Very informative and gives great insight into how the VC were able to defend and defeat
Our guide sally was terrific. Great English, very knowledgeable and great sense of humour. She also new how to miss the crowds!!!
Thankyou - highly recommend
Hear stories of the American-Vietnam war as you discover the maze-like Cu Chi Tunnels, a 136-mile (220 kilometers) network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong soldiers. Step back in time as you peek into the old storage areas, poke your head through camouflaged trapdoors, and crawl through military supply tunnels.
Amazing from start to finish. Pick up time from our hotel was promot l. We got on the boat and were given croissants fruit and water for the journey. The boat took a little over an hour and was very relaxing. The tour guide was amazing (I think his name was hai). He answered every question with great confidence and kept us very much on schedule. We were given an amazing lunch at the end that included a soft drink. On the way back we were given more fruits. The value for money was excellent. Would highly recommend

Mekong Delta Guided Tour from Ho Chi Minh city with Vinh Trang Pagoda & Lunch
Wonderful cruise and bike riding experience
, Feb 2020
We had a wonderful day. When booking this day trip, we decided to take the non-touristy choice which included the Mekong delta river cruise after which we licked up bikes and enjoyed a terrific two hours bike ride through tiny villages, thru dragon fruit farms, rice fields and roving paths. After all the touring and visits thru markets and shopping area in other cities, we felt this bike ride adventure would provide us from a welcome change. We so enjoyed the group, our tour leader was amazing and decided we had definitely made an excellent tour choice.
It would have been helpful if the tour information included appropriate dress for the Pagoda part of the tour. Fortunately our guide offered me his jacket to wear for this part of the tour and it was appreciated.
Our guide Viet was excellent at organizing the tour in a timely fashion. The actual tour however had some cons. It was very, very touristy and most notable during the rowboat ride on the Mekong River. The many, many rowboats on the river were at times aggressive and bumped into our boat along the two kilometre ride. The rowboat drivers weren’t exactly shy at asking for a tip either. Our lunch wasn’t too bad but the portion of fish wasn’t enough for the number of guests. The soup was quite delicious.
Be prepared for a very long bus drive to the river. It takes about one hour and 45 minutes total which isn’t mentioned in the tour information.
Everyone on the tour was dropped off at either their hotel or market. We were the last customers to be dropped off at our hotel and to our dismay the bus driver dropped us off across the busy street from our hotel. He didn’t attempt to drive us into our hotel. He left us to try and cross the busiest street with no cross walk. If we had even attempted to cross we would have risked our lives. We had to walk in the opposite direction about a half mile to find a safe place to cross. We were not at all impressed therefore a three star review.
Experience the best of the Mekong Delta on a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City, and explore the distinctive delta landscape by motorized river boat, row boat, and horse cart. You’ll visit a traditional temple, canal island, and local home along the way, then stop in a restaurant for a delta-style lunch. Your tour includes all transport, activities, entrance fees, lunch, and snacks, as well as hotel pickup and drop-off in central Ho Chi Minh City.
3-Day Mekong Delta Tour from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh
From $105.00 (Price varies by group size )
Awesome value - one of the best organized tours I have ever taken.
, Feb 2020
One of THE BEST organized tours I have ever taken. Great value for the money. Very interesting places chosen to visit. Only minus is that the busses could have charging ports, but I certainly can live with that.
Fantastic value for the money. Interesting visits, good local food, adequate 2 star hotels, enthusiastic, cheerful and informative Gordon as guide. Do it but be prepared fo very full days and early starts.
Value for money for an outstanding Mekong Delta tour
, Nov 2019
Our 3D 2N tour with Viator & TNK Travel was an absolute fun and extra ordinary experience. A total value for money and for this we absolutely and highly recommend this tour to everyone who wishes to visit HCMC across Mekong Delta to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our tour guide Vank has an exceptional knowledge of Vietnam & Mekong Delta. He is professionally trained and was very helpful the whole time we were with him. Husband & I had a great time and so many precious & happy memories were made with our group which no more than 30 people from all parts of the globe. We made friends with them, laughed with them, ate with them and made loads of fun with them. There were also so many additional activities on this tour that was not mentioned initially on the description of this tour, we were so amazed with the amount of activities we have done and for that we are eternally grateful. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour to all first timers in Vietnam & even those ones who've been but wish to do the Mekong tour again. Thumbs up to all the crew, staff & organisers of Viator & TNK Travel :) Till we meet again :)
Travel the Mekong River from Vietnam to Cambodia on this three-day trip that showcases the best of this iconic destination. Follow a friendly local guide as you make your way through the waters lined with quiet villages, lush tropical foliage and plenty of local life. This memorable tour is one of the best ways to see one of the region's top attractions and is not to be missed!
I highly recommend this tour, especially our guides and crew - Henry, Thy, Tu and Be - were super!!!
They thought of everything and anything we may need, were so friendly, helpful and super informative about all the various things we experienced. They took care of us so well and made this a wonderful day out. I would especially recommend this to those that do not want to do the regular run of the mill tours and don't want to be packed in with a large number of tourists.

We have a great time on our tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels! The Speedboat option was such a great choice - we were picked up at our hotel, brought to the docking station, and set off for about an hour on the boat. Snacks (fruit and croissants) were offered on the boat, and our guide told us about the area we were boating through, as well as the history of the tunnels and the people who built them. When we arrived at the tunnels, our guide made sure the entry process was seamless, and confidently explained to us each station that we visited, being careful to avoid crowds and ensuring we had time to explore. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, you do have the option of using the shooting range for an additional fee - though even if you aren't using it, it is very loud and can be heard throughout your visit (be mindful for young children or those who are sensitive to this!). The tour concluded with lunch (plentiful! They also did a great job accommodating a vegetarian diet), and we were then brought back to our hotel. What a great time!
Be whisked away to Cu Chi by luxury speedboat on a tour from Ho Chi Minh City. Learn about the tunnels built by Viet Cong soldiers and the transformative battle in the fierce fight for independence. A light breakfast is served as well as a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

They were vibrant, funny and knowledgeable. They have us the Ho Chi Minh street food experience that we expected and the menus tasted were pretty good and certainly satisfying!! We highly recommend this story team!!
Totally enjoyed this tour. All the food was really tasty and the tour guide did a great job showing different types of food and gave some interesting information about some of the places as we were walking.
The street food choices of Ho Chi Minh City can be astounding—and overwhelming. A personal guide makes the decisions and communications easier on this evening walking tour. After a convenient hotel pickup by taxi, savor a menu of delicious dishes washed down with beer and homemade Vietnamese rice wine.

This is a tour I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try more of the local food! Its an awesome chance to get on a motorbike and see different parts of the city! The food was amazing and the guides were great! 10/10
My guide, Khang Nguyễn Thanh, took me to five different venues. All were very different from each other, offering a wide range of tastes and influences.
It was great fun to eat with the locals, and get an idea of how Vietnamese people live.
Khang provided cultural context to where we were visiting, and his confident driving skills and good humour made for a great solo night for me.
Getting driven around in the Saigon traffic was an experience I won't soon forget!
Thank you Khang. ("Call me K")

It’s a long day at around 15 hrs - but you get to cram 2 days worth of tour into one. The itinerary has a lot of elements and moving parts and each was coordinated to perfection. Our guide was great, and I felt a personal touch on everything as we did our best to beat the crowds most places.
Great experience and fully recommend it.

Honestly, review is regarding customer service for the dinner cruise. - we had ordered and paid for the dinner cruise but unfortunately the dates we picked were on the New Year. The cruise was not running these dates. Contacted buy email - telephone regarding this. Customer service was very helpful and we sorted the rebooking. Looking forward to the dinner cruise in a couple of weeks...
We were seated at a corner table with gorgeous views all around. It’s a traditional boat with a nice ambience, just perfect for catching the evening breeze while enjoying a seven-course dinner. Very friendly and courteous staff. Highly recommended.
Embark on a dinner cruise on the Saigon River during your stay in Ho Chi Minh City. See the city at night — a beauty to behold when draped in shimmering lights against the night sky. Crossing the heart of the bustling city, the river cruise offers a tranquil escape aboard a wooden yacht. Enjoy dinner accompanied by traditional musical and dance performances.
That was a lot of fun, a great experience for us and the children. Our guide, Sugar, provided us with plenty of info about the sites and the city adjusting the schedule to our family needs. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a fun and efficient way to visit HCMC.
This was an amazing trip for us and our friends. Our guide Vincent was very informative and good fun. We saw this vibrant city in a different light, scooting through all the madness on the roads. What an experience! We stopped at various interesting places, including a local market where we purchased fresh fruit for our 2 drivers who were vey appreciative. Thanks for a great day, Vincent. From your Scottish friends.
This was a great way to quickly see some of the main sights in HCMC. Vincente was our guide and Minh was our driver. It was very helpful being able to ask questions both at the sights and as we drove around.

Our guide was sweet did her best to make everyone comfortable and was organized. The Mekong river has LOTS of garbage in this area. It was disappointing to see this. I has this vision of seeing sites of beauty but hard to get past all the trash.

Small-group Mekong Delta - My Tho & Ben Tre (Day Trip)
From $11.00 (Price varies by group size )
Good for First timers
, Dec 2019
The tour was very good. Well organized, came off without long delays and our guide was from the area so had a little gossip about the family lives. (If you get Danny tip him). For me as a very experienced traveler it was not what I was looking for. We got a little taste of everything but I wanted a long drink from the Mekong!
Well worth the money spent and Asiana really does take care of it's guests.

Great all around
, Jan 2020
Guide was very funny and informative. Van was very comfortable. Cu chi was incredible and astonishing. The row boat on Mekong was very interesting and enlightening. Good to see how the people live in that area.
Can't say enough good things about this tour and our amazing guide, Lan (Unicorn). Very comfortable ride, even equipped with wi-fi and aircon and ice-cold water to keep us all cool, refreshed and connected during the long journey in the car.
Lan was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, taking great photos and videos of us throughout the day and sharing them with us during the ride home.
Cu Chi Tunnels was an amazing experience and our tour guide knew how to keep things moving, escape and beat the crowds and other groups, and shared with us a lot of interesting facts about the famed Viet Cong fighters.
The tour of the Mekong Delta was beautiful and we really got a good feel for how the locals lived. We even got a lovely coconut to sip on, which was a nice touch. Lan made many additional stops during the day to keep us comfortable, and make the experience more enjoyable. The tour should really take credit for all the additional activities not highlighted in the itinerary when booking. For example, we experienced:
- a quick tour of a local handcraft facility where many amazing handcrafted art is made by individuals with disabilities;
- opportunity to touch and take photos with a cobra (if so desired!);
- horse-cart ride, local folk singing, tea and fruit breaks; and
- experiencing locally made coconut candies (a real treat!);
The tour was one of the highlights of our trip, second only to our visit to Halong Bay, and this was truly and solely down to the VIP Tour Group and our amazing guide, Lan!

We had a nice time with other tourists who came from different countries. Our guide Fully speaks decent English and he was always willing to learn. We expect more war memory but bit surprised by all the sales of Mekong area's products. For our generation Mekong Delta is a place of sad sentiment and it was only our hope to pray for all the souls both Vietnamese, Americans and others.

My cousin and I (aged 18 and 21) loved this tour so much. It was such a great introduction to Ho Chi Minh City. Our tour guides, Su and Toni (I hope I spelled their names right) were incredible! They were so punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and hilarious. They always made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Riding on the motorbikes from place to place was such a highlight! It really felt like we were immersed in the culture. The food was all delicious especially the Obama noodles! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

Very informative guide, interesting to see the juxtaposition of the new sky scrapers with the old shops beneath. Little to long at independece palace, slightly less time here would have given more ti.e at war museum. Lunch was excellent.
Absolutely a 10 star trip with Daniel. His English was superb along with his knowledge of Saigon. The lunch was a five course delight. He took care of us like we were his family. What a memorable day in Saigon!!

Very reliable and dependable service, good for people staying in other districts in Saigon
, Nov 2019
I pre-booked and paid our transfers to and from Tan San Nhot International airport in Ho Chi Minh City, I found this service to be efficient and very reliable, when we arrived in Vietnam the driver was waiting for us in the arrivals hall with a placard with my name on it and was easily located and took us straight to our holiday apartment in District 4 and on departure the driver found us waiting for pickup in the lobby of our apartment block. I do not know why ( as District 1, the main hotel precinct in Saigon is just across the bridge from where we were staying, a 10 minute walk ), very few airport transfer services in Ho Chi Minh City won't do airport transfers to accommodation in District 4 despite the fact it is adjacent to District 1, this service does and it is very affordable, friendly and you can depend on it, I recommend using this service especially if you are staying outside of District 1, it will off course do District 1 transfers but will go places the other transfer services won't.
