Considering that New Year’s Eve in Spain is more of a family holiday spent at home in front of the television, chances are that big celebrations won’t be quite as ubiquitous as you might be used to. And while many prepaid club parties abound (largely for out-of-towners) in famous nightclub spots like Joy Eslava in Madrid or Shoko in Barcelona, the best way to get in on the New Year’s Eve fun, is do it like the locals. Here are a few ways to ring in the new year Spain-style.
