Love this zoo,. Quite a few changes since we were last hear. Lemurs played hard to get but we had a lovely visit. Great they now use paper straws but a lot of other places they can cut back on single use plastic. Still one of my favourite places to visit.

Dolphin Watching Excursion in Gibraltar With Optional Top of The Rock Cable Car Ticket
Great Way to See Gibraltar from the Sea
, Nov 2019
The boat was comfortable and had ample viewing space. The staff was full of enthusiasm. We saw many pods of dolphins and the children were so excited. The views were amazing. It is easy to find the marina and our tour included tickets on the lift to the top of the rock.
We enjoyed the ferry and Dolphin watching very much, It was a beautiful day on the water though. From there we had to take a TAXI to the Cable Car. We did not realize we would be paying for that and for the trip back to the cruise. I recommend you read the description very well and call if you have questions.
Unfortunately, even though we had pre-paid tickets for the "Rock", there is still a line to get on the small cable car. By the time we actually made it to the cable car, we were afraid we would not have enough time to get back to the ship for out early departure, so we turned around and walked down without taking the cable car.. That became another problem though.....We could not get a taxi back to the Port. There are many taxis parked in the front of the Rock, but they are only for the passengers they brought up the mountain. I walked the five blocks downhill to get a taxi at the next taxi stand and they too would not take us. Eventually I went into Mamma Mia's Restaurant at the "Rock" parking lot and they reluctantly called a taxi for us which came almost immediately. I say reluctantly, because as the waitress told me, they have called taxis many times and once the taxi arrives, the passengers are nowhere to be found then the taxi driver is angry.

Had a really great trip to watch the Dolphins. Not too many people on the boat, plenty of room to move about and get a better view. Really friendly staff who were very knowledgable about the Dolphins and the area. Most importantly plenty of Dolphins to see.
A Lovely way to spent a few hours
