Great to do one time if you never did it. It worths so much to see animals in their natural space and not in a zoo. You are ensured to cross kangaroos, wallibies and wombats on this tour. Very low chance about koalas and platypus, feel very lucky if you do.
See Australia's most famous native animals in their natural habitat on a full-day tour from Sydney. In a comfortable 4WD, explore the Southern Highlands with a naturalist guide to look for koalas, kangaroos, platypus, emus, wombats and other critters in the wild. Your small-group tour includes refreshments and dinner in a classic pub, and you stay out after dark in order to view nocturnal animals in action. With numbers limited to 11 people, enjoy a more customized experience.
Port Stephens Day Tour with Dolphin Watching, Sandboarding & Australian Wildlife
wonderful tour guide Peter T
, Jan 2020
I had an excellent day trip with a very caring and funny tour guide Peter T. Everything is on track and I enjoyed all the activities. The only pity part is that I only saw 2 dolphins that day... but even without dolphins, the sea view is so fantastic and definitely worth seeing.
My husband and I went on this excursion yesterday and it was excellent! Not only did John S show us some tricks to navigating Sydney before leaving toward Port Stephens, he explained the history of each area in a way that keeps everyone's interest. The reptile park was fun, but my two highlights of the tour were dolphin watching and sand boarding. (Note that the reptile park does have many native species including koala, not just reptiles!) John S. gave us some food selection and dolphin watching tips which proved to be imperative in maximizing our experiences at Port Stephens. John S. also gave us great food suggestions for Sydney including a great Japanese pub that was one of highlights of our time in the city. We also had a great time sandboarding despite me being a bit afraid of heights. This is an excellent excursion and if you have the chance to do so (especially with John S.), definitely check this out!
I liked this trip. It as been a great guide, who took very good care of us and could teach us a lot of the surrounding. We have been very lucky and saw many dolphines and even a sea turtle. For My personal Feeling, I think the Timing was very tight. We could not even stop for toilettes, but needed to use the Toilette in the Bus and I like rather smaller Groups. We have been 38 People. If you dont mind that, I would give even 4 out of 5 stars.
Enjoy a trip to Australia's North Coast, traveling to Port Stephens and the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes, on a full-day guided tour from Sydney. Check out the wildlife at the Australian Reptile Park, take a dolphin-watching cruise from Nelson Bay, experience 4-wheeling and sandboarding at the sand dunes, and soak up gorgeous scenery all along the route. Accompanied by a guide, enjoy views of kangaroos, koalas, Tasmanian devils, bottlenose dolphins, and other marine life for a memorable outdoors experience on Sydney's doorstep.
First of all our original booking was for a morning trip with a different operator and due to several circumstances on their end we were left stranded but Viator did immediately refund our payment. This left us half-way around the world with nothing to do. Tour operators in the Sydney area told us it was too late to go to the Blue Mountains area as all the tours leave in the morning. Then we found this tour on Viator. Perfect! We had a great time and saw so many beautiful scenic landscapes. The guides, Donna and Kelly were not only very knowledge and fun they did a great job adjusting the schedule ad-hoc as was needed do to the bush fires in the area. Our tour ended up being the last ones to this area for at least a week as fires forced the parks to close yet Kelly and Donna both did an amazing job and adjusting on the fly and making the day one to remember. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have a morning commitment or simply don't like to get up too early. The provided lunch as was great and they also did a great job of professionally dealing with a few who seemed to complain about everything and not understand the magnitude and strain the fast-spreading fires were putting on our tour guides.

, Aug 2019
Terry was an amazing guide! He has great local knowledge about the areas we visited and shared many stories and little bits of information about Sydney and Australia. We managed to see alot on this tour without it feeling rushed at any point. We had enough time at each stop to admire the amazing views, take photos and listen to little bits of information Terry had to share with us. Terry was really good company, even cooking us lunch while we did the walk at the rainforest and helping us take some really good photos. Superb views and an amazing guide - already planning to book with Terry again soon!

Best off the beat and path tour ever- Sydney Nimble Tours!
, Sep 2019
My husband and I were in Sydney for our 24th anniversary. We wanted to a tour that took us some of the places that were not so touristy and "off the beat and path." Greg provided an amazing, informative tour and took us to places we would have never heard of that were just beautiful! Since we already had spent time at the harbour he customized our tour with other amazing stops outside of Sydney and it was awesome to have the dialogue and history from a local perspective. Greg was a fun, informative guide and his tour was a highlight of our trip. We loved his fun, easy going manner and his flexibility. My husband and I highly reccommend his tours! We saw more of Sydney and the surrounding beaches in one day with him then we did all week! Truly Nimble!!! Thanks again Greg!

Our guide was one of the best guide I ever had. He was knowledgeable, always made sure they we take care of and wanted us to have a great time which we did. Plus he would go out of way to make sure we enjoy every moment. For an example, One of are party wanted to retake the railroad up and down the hill again he let her after asking us do we mind. I wish I did it with her. Rain forest was outstanding because our guide answered all of our questions,
I was visiting Sydney of my own before meeting my husband Mike in Freemantle so I only had few days and the Blue Mountain tour ultimate was a great option for me to see the outside of the city. This is a first rate experience- every thing from the prep to the climb itself is really nicely done. We were equipped with rain gear in the event of rain, and that really helped. We wore the rain pants on the way up but only put the jackets on once it started to rain.
Great photos, reasonably priced, and Richard was an excellent tour leader for our group. Don’t miss it!
Was so much fun!! Would highly recommend it! We did the sampler and that was plenty. Is the same as the full excursion, just not as long and we didn't go as high up. Also, it could not be any safer...they cover all the bases.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The departure point was extremely convenient - only an hour train from the Central Station. Daniel met us at the Brooklyn wharf and then took us over to Milsons passage by boat. We kayaked on the beautiful Hawkesbury river, walked in the bushland behind Milson’s passage, and had a great motorboat tour around the river. The landscape is truly stunning and and incredibly serene. Unlike other areas of natural beauty near Sydney (such as palm beach and the Blue Mountain) the area was pristine and calm. You could really get a sense of what the land was like hundreds or even thousands of years ago. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and clearly an experienced guide who knew the land well. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique adventure in a truly stunning setting within a convenient distance of the CBD.

Step out of the city for the day, and join us on a spectacular 15km trail that combines salt swept coastlines, long sandy beaches and dramatic sea cliffs.

During our 28 years on Sydney Harbour, we know all the top spots to visit. We can explore many different locations depending on the conditions and we will do it in style by using beautiful Australian made lightweight sea kayaks (made by Mirage Sea Kayaks).
On our paddle, it is more enjoyable that we cruise at a leisurely pace, therefore you will only need a moderate level of fitness.
You will need to be at least an intermediate or experienced kayaker.
We do not recommend this tour for beginner paddlers.
Beginner paddlers should first start with our Middle Harbour Eco Tour
