Michael was an amazing tour guide and made us feel like a group -“not just a bunch of strangers in a van”
Great way to see areas of Austin and learn about the history and the present day life of an Austinite.
The visit to the food truck and the present of a warm cookie was much appreciated.
As a lone traveller I would recommend this tour and if you are lucky Michael might be your guide.

JFK Assassination and Museum Tour with Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House
Educational & Fun
, Dec 2019
Great tour for me and my 15 year old grandson.
I was 11 when the assassination took place and thought knew all about it. Now, I see I need to go back and do some more reading, especially.about the possible connections between Oswald, Ruby, and Tippit.
Really enjoyed tracing the steps of Oswald from the School Book Depository to his capture at the Texas Theater. One of the highlights of the tour was visiting Oswald's last residence. It was like walking into a time capsule.
Had a great tour with Johnny Aguilar. He was prompt and was waiting for us at the designate place. He took time to answer all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable about the city and JFK. We also got to see some of the city. The only negative was that he kept chewing gum and it could be heard over the intercom.
This is a great tour. Johnny was our tour guide. He was very good. He was able to narrative the tour in a fun, but yet, informative way. He is a very good guide/very knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed.
Somewhere at the intersection of presidential history and American mythology, the JFK assassination continues to fascinate Dallas visitors. See the site where the infamous shooting occurred on this special historical tour to Grassy Knoll and the Kennedy Memorial; separate the facts from the theories with the help of your guide, who will walk you through that day and its aftermath. This tour includes a guide, entrance fees, and round trip transportation.
Combine two great tours, plus admission to an iconic landmark, for a comprehensive look at the city of San Antonio. First, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the San Antonio River. Then explore the most popular sites in San Antonio on a hop-on hop-off, double-decker bus tour. Select a pass, then board at any of the 19 stops to get to know the city in custom fashion with live, onboard commentary. Finally, enjoy a spectacular view of Alamo City from the top of the Tower of the Americas.
Very well organised and everything worked to plan. Only slight negative we could have done with more info about how the tram trips work in the space centre. Didn't know you had to register a time for the mission control one and didn't realise it was separate rises to the other two areas. Prior knowledge would have helped us plan better.
This is only a helpful sussestion as we were very happy with the whole trip otherwise
The city tour was very interesting but the NASA tour was amazing.highly recommend going there.
Unfortunately our bus broke down coming home, we were left sitting on the edge of the motorway for over an hour, not feeling very safe, 10 passengers. The trucks and bigger vehicles, were extremely close and we felt movement as they passed. The driver did not keep us informed at all. In hindsight we should have disembarked and gone down the bank and across to the shopping centre, given a coffee or water until our new transport arrived, most certainly gotten off the bus.
Hitting Houston's top attractions couldn't be easier than on this double-decker sightseeing tour. See top sights around the city like parks, landmarks, and historic districts, and then head to the official visitor center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center for a self-guided tour.
Visit the site of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in Dallas on this tour with a guide. Traveling by bus, see the places and learn about the events related to November 22, 1963, such as the Grassy Knoll, Dealey Plaza, John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, the presidential motorcade route, the Dallas Municipal Building, the Texas Theatre, and the Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House.
It was a great 3 1/2 hour tour into the beautiful hill country. First stop was Salt Lick BBQ Restaurant and then on to 2 local wineries. Our tour guide Sunny was very knowledgeable and personable. Totally enjoyed the day.
Leave busy Austin for a half-day wine and barbecue tour in the Texas Hill Country. Your driver takes you to the outskirts of Austin to visit your choice of three venues: The Salt Lick, Fall Creek Vineyards, and Duchman Family Winery. Linger at one or two of the stops, or visit all three — it's up to you.
This tour was fun and informative and had great food and drinks! We loved the tacos but our tour guide Rhonda was the best. She had a good sense of humour the whole day, made everyone from different groups feel welcomed and involved. Rhonda have is great recommendations and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed...would highly recommend booking a tour and requesting Rhonda!
Rhonda was AMAZING and so were all the food and drinks! I was flying solo but didn't feel awkward at all, everyone in the group were so warm and welcoming. Talk about southern hospitality!! Thank you once again for the wonderful time, highly recommended!!

The Brunch Bus: Austin Food Tour with Live Band On Board
Fun But May Not Be For Everyone
, Nov 2019
Food and band were good- ours was a very lively group with the majority of the passengers in the 21-25-ish age group, which, in retrospect, is what I thinkthe tour's target market is. Generationally, we're older- but still appreciated the dexterity on the part of the band to be able to play and interact with guests on a moving bus. My only hesitation in giving this a 5 is that it is not a family friendly environment- language towards the end (on the part of the guide and the band) got a bit raunchy- which is fine for everyone else...just not for us. If that isn't something that bothers you, then you'll have a great time.
Get a taste of Austin on a brunch tour to three local establishments. Traveling on a fun with live music performed by local musicians, travel to each location for your included breakfast tasting and beverage. Bring your appetite and expect to sample local specialties like breakfast tacos, Czech kolaches, and chicken and waffles.
An excellent small group tour of Historic San Antonio
, Feb 2020
Our guide, Louis, is the owner of San Antonio Missions Tours. He was excited to share his vast knowledge of San Antonio and Texas with us and gave us a wonderful 3 + hour tour of many of the historic sites and missions. There were only the 2 of us on our tour, but Louis still spent more than the described allotted time with us to give us an excellent experience.
The tour was fantastic. Luis was a great tour guide- very knowledgeable and added an additional mission. The one thing I think Viator should make clear is that their tour guide can't go into the Alamo with you - it is not allowed.. Because of all the history and information we had gotten during the day, it was OK but for us, the Alamo was what we wanted to see the most. He gave a great "pre talk" so we were prepared but it would have been good to know that before the tour. I would recommend this tour and I would request Luis!
See the Alamo and other UNESCO landmarks on a private tour of San Antonio attractions. This itinerary also offers a look at Mission San José and Mission Concepción, both belonging to the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Visit, too, the King William Historic District and Market Square. With a personal guide on hand to interpret, you’ll gain a better understanding of San Antonio’s heritage.
Nice way to experience a taste of the Austin music scene. Bobby our guide deserves 5 stars too. The cost of the tour is more than reasonable because it also includes cover charges and tips for the musicians.
Bobby was the best tour guide ever! Full of energy, personable, organized, good driving skills, and open to any questions about the city. He gave us great ideas for how to spend our vacation in Austin.
Great experience for a lone traveler! I met some awesome people and we went to really great authentic Austin bars which I don’t think I would’ve had the privilege to see on my own! Sunny was also an awesome guide and made the nights super fun!
Experience Austin's live music scene on a tour led by a guide who is also a local musician. Visit as many as three iconic clubs and up-and-coming venues and enjoy hearing live music with a group of fun fellow travelers. Don't get caught listening to cover bands, listen to authentic music in one of the world's music capitals.

Explore the heritage of country music in Luckenbach, then sample wine (additional fee) at a local vineyard as you return to San Antonio.
Johnny Aguilar gave us very interesting information and as much as he had time for so no time was wasted. Saw all sides of the city. Lunch venue was perfect - food stalls in an interesting market and plenty of choice, plus souvenir shops to browse. Good that he was raised there so could give us a genuine idea of how things had changed. Was thoughtful of our needs, checking the temperature and need for rest stops. It was unusually cold and actually snowing at the start! He was a friendly and polite man and we were so glad it was a good tour, as it was all we had time to do in the city during our 8hr stopover, so it was perfect. The only thing I thought of after we got home, maybe he could have shown us the route on a map.
We did the sightseeing tour of Dallas with Dan The Man. Phenomenal overview of the City and some really cool pockets of quiet in the bustling Downtown. Highlights were Deep Ellum, the Wilson Block, and the Mansions of Highland Park; but especially Dan’s stories and obvious love for the city.

Our driver Shaun was absolutely amazing! He was very professional and even so sweet to take some pictures for us and to make sure we were set up at the wineries for our tastings. We had some delays in our trip due to traffic but we got prompt and frequent updates that were much appreciated and we were still able to make all of our stops with the same allotted time. The limo was clean and well kept up. Highly recommend!

We only have regret that we did this on our last night in SA! Joe was an amazing tour guide. We could not have asked for anything more. If you are on the fence about this event do it! You will not be sorry.
Roll through San Antonio's spookier side on an evening haunted history tour by Segway. Perched atop a self-balancing electric scooter, head to some of downtown’s most storied and supposedly haunted locales, where a guide shares tales of notorious gun-slingers, ghosts of the Alamo, and legends of old Indian burial grounds. It’s a frightfully fun way to spend an evening immersed in Texas lore—unlimited spine tingles included!
A friend was visiting from out of town. This was her first trip to TX so we decided to do a tour of Austin. Our city tour guide was great. He filled in where the recorded narration ended. I learned things about the city that I didn't know. Thanks AO Tours, Austin. It was a great experience.
I highly recommend taking this tour if visiting Austin first time as we were. It covers all the highlights of the city and we see hill country too. The tour was v informative and the guide had many interesting local snippets. Helps to plan which of these places you would like to visit at leisure. As this tour does a drive or pass through without stopping at any spot. Good value for money!

Joe our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the history of the city, very helpful with things to do and see. The experience was awesome and riding the Segway was fun and easy after Joe gave us some short lessons

You'll also have plenty of time to have fun riding your Segway and get great photo ops.
The River Walk cruise was wonderful. The evening was beautiful and they still had the Christmas lights up. The Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour was a pain in the neck. It took over 30 minutes for them to come to the stops to get on. It was a waste of money.
Combine two great tours for a comprehensive look at the city of San Antonio. First, enjoy a relaxing, 35-minute River Walk boat cruise along the San Antonio River. Then explore the most popular sites in San Antonio on a scenic hop-on hop-off, double-decker bus tour. The Ultimate Waco "Fixer Upper" Fan Self-Guided AUDIO Tour
, Jan 2020
If you are a Fixer Upper fan, this is the tour for you! Joey, the tour guide and owner, was knowledgeable and funny. We had a delicious lunch at Sironia, which also has a wonderful boutique inside. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour was a lot of fun. It was informative and provided a lot of background on the Gaines story and Waco. We were able to see numerous house from the Fixer Upper show and get “the rest of the story”. There were also several shopping opportunities on the tour. An excellent value.
This was by far the best tour I’ve been on... Joey was just awesome and extremely funny. We truly enjoyed the show Fixer Upper on HGTV and Joey just brought it to life for us! Joey has recently opened a comedy club; and we would have gladly paid to see a show, but it’s currently only doing shows on Saturday and we didn’t make it to Waco until Sunday (bummer)... also if you didn’t know; which we didn’t, Magnolia Farms, Magnolia Silos, Magnolia Press and The Little Shop on Bosque are all closed on Sunday👍
This tour is tailored for fans of the hit television show “Fixer Upper” featuring Chip and Joanna Gaines, but you’ll also learn about Waco’s history and quirky vibe along the way. Visit landmarks such as Cameron Park Zoo, Waco Suspension Bridge, Spice Village, Magnolia Market, the Dr. Pepper Museum, and several filming locations from the show. Lunch at a popular Tex-Mex restaurant is included.
This package includes all the best sights and attractions that the city of San Antonio has to offer!

Alex is a very accommodating guide who wants all guests to be comfortable and happy
What this tour was lacking was a more guided tour at each point of interest.
There is a big difference in letting someone off at a point of interest and leaving them on their own versus a guide with you to give more information or answer questions
