My sister and I had a fantastic day trip with our friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide Kevin. With a smaller tour, we felt we had a wonderfully personal experience, a friendly group, and were able to move around and see the many beautiful sights throughout Skye. We would highly recommend this tour to others who are looking to explore Skye!

We did this tour with another couple on a cold wintery day. Our guide Bill was a lecturer in Scottish history and wore his clan’s tartan garment during the tour. His tales on the Culloden Battlefield really brought the Jacobite history alive (I wasn’t looking forward to visiting the battlefield, but it turned out to be one of the highlights). The highlands are spectacular and our stop at a Scotch distillery was a plus. All in all, a very worthwhile tour.
We had a great day with Bill MacDonald on our trip that included a scotch distillery and visit to several places all of you Outlander fans will recognize and love. Bill made the places come alive and was great at giving the ‘story behind the story’. It was well worth it! We left at 9am and we’re back by 6pm.

Fantastic experience having visited the majestic island of Skye. Thank you for arranging such a trip even in the midst of Winter. Chris, our guide, is hands down the best tour guide I’ve Ever Had. He’s Simply Fantastic.
It was a rainy, windy and cold December’s day. Still, the Castle and Isle of Skye have shown before us their charm and magnificence. Mastering driving under poor climate conditions, really caring for the guests, and truly enjoying herself the tour, there she was, our guide – a paramount ‘attraction’ of this day: Tonks. Always relaxed and cheerful, she spent all day entertaining us with beautifully told Scottish tales and a wonderful music selection. She is a talented, multi-tasking and amazing guide. Thank you very much – it was a great experience!
Our guide Tonks had great knowledge of Scottish lore and told us stories along the way. Time went by really fast. Nessie blessed us with a sunny day, and Tonks made sure that we cover all the landmarks. We took many great pictures. The Isle of Skye is phenomenal.

Full-Day Outlander Experience in the Scottish Highlands from Inverness

Our guide for the day was Cecile. She was one of the most knowledgeable guides we have ever experienced. She was very accommodating in changing the standard itinerary for this tour so that it was more personalized to us. We were very impressed of her knowledge of history and historical points of interest even though she was not native to the British Isles. Overall, it was the best of all private tours we took during our 2 week visit to Scotland and Ireland. Would definitely seek her out again when we return to the area.
