Tokyo Afternoon : Asakuasa, Sumida River Cruise Half Day Tour
, Dec 2019
I thought it was great! It’s a good way to see multiple things. I wish my cousin and I did this first day of our trip instead of fourth day. We ended up already seeing most of the things on this tour because of that.
Take in some of the top sights in Tokyo during this sightseeing excursion and river cruise perfect for those short on time. Get a sky-high view of the city from the 40th floor of the Tokyo Tower, before exploring the sacred confines of Asakusa Kannon Temple (Senso-ji), and strolling the shops of Nakamise Street. Your experience ends with a relaxing cruise on the Sumida River.
Dynamic Tokyo: Tokyo Tower, Tea Ceremony and Sumida River Cruise Day Tour
, Jan 2020
We didn't realize the tour was on a bus however it turned out to be great. The guide was very informative. She gave us a lot of extra details regarding the history of Tokyo. Loved the gardens and enjoyed the lunch. Would recommend for anyone visiting the city.
This was a great day for us to per-view Tokyo through the eyes of a professional touring company. The day was well organized and our Tour guide really new her facts. Our favorite part was the Tea Ceremony. Which was odd because we thought the Tokyo Tower tour would be our favorite. The precision and practice needed to successfully conduct the Tea Ceremony demands respect. We definitely recommend participating in a tour like this, especially if you have never traveled to Tokyo.
Excellent tour! Our tour guide was very good and we got a chance to see excellent highlights of the city. Lunch was delicious and tea ceremony was an amazing traditional experience. Highly recommended for those visiting for a few days.

Tokyo Panoramic : Meiji Shrine,Asakusa Temple,Tokyo Bay Cruise & Odaiba Day Tour
Getting to know Tokyo
, Jan 2020
This was a nice gentle tour around some of the sites of Tokyo..Led by the very friendly Kaori. She was a wealth of information and very helpful with our departing times and information about the places we visited. Starting at the Meiji shine then a walk around the imperial palace gardens. We had the pleasure of seeing the imperial horse carriages returning from Tokyo station. We then went to the Senso-ji temple with its souvenir packed Nakamise street. You can have some free time there or take a short walk to the temple with your guide and still have some free time. Then you go for a posh nosh lunch at a Tokyo bay hotel before taking a 50 minute boat ride around Tokyo bay. Then you visit the Odaiba area which is the new entertainment area
and have some free time there. All these places can be reached by the metro which Kaori always informed us about but i think the tour is worth it if you have a short stay in Tokyo. Kaori was excellent and it was a nice day out
Enjoy a comprehensive tour of Tokyo, covering its best gardens, temples, shopping areas and a Tokyo Bay cruise over the course of a day. Check out Meiji Temple, the city’s most famous Shinto site before visiting the Imperial Palace and Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist site, Asakusa Kannon Temple (Senso-ji). You also get to do some shopping in Tokyo’s Nakamise before enjoying a cruise on Tokyo Bay. This Tokyo excursion also includes a guide, coach transport, entrance fees, and lunch.
Combine dinner with a traditional Japanese cabaret show during this cruise on Tokyo Bay. Feast on a mixture of Japanese and Western specialties as well as one drink as you absorb views of Tokyo’s neon splendor from the water. Throughout the ride, an ‘oiran’ (cabaret) show is sure to keep you entertained with its colorful costumes, music, and emphasis on audience participation.
The trip was mainly very good, this was due to our excellent tour guide, Mayumi. Due to weather conditions we we only able to stop at the first station of Mt Fuji which seemed a bit pointless as pictures from there weren’t very good.
From there we went on a boat trip around a different lake as it was too windy to cruise around Lake Ashi which was pretty and allowed us to get plenty of good photos of Mt Fuji.
We also had lunch included which was weirdly in a restaurant inside of a theme park! The lunch was a traditional ramen-type soup with a small buffet.
After that we visited the ropeway which enabled more good photos of Fuji.
Finally we took the Shinkansen back to Tokyo, I would highly recommend doing this as it was an amazing experience - getting us back to the city in 25 minutes!
Overall our guide Mayumi really made the trip for us, she was very knowledgable and friendly. I can’t rate her enough for the insight she gives you into Japanese culture.
The day we traveled, the weather was foggy, rainy and a bit windy at the end, so we were no able to see mt. Fuji. Not organisers fault and they state that they won't cancel trip because of bad weather. Here you already might choose not to go with prepaid tour but either do it yourself on they day you choose or book when you know weather forcast. We had 4 stops on our trip: mt.fuji museum 30min, 1st step 30min (could not go to fifth due to weather), lunch 1 hour and cable car 1.5 hours (which I skipped because it was already pooring with rain and the visibility even on the ground was poor). Overall the whole sightseeing experience 2.5 hours as opposed to 6.5 hours sitting on the bus and 30 min on bullet train. We were back to Tokyo by bullet train at 5.20pm. I think the announced return time should have been 7pm. The guide was ok, but I could hardly understand her english, so when we get to mt.fuji museum I was hoping to watch a movie about mt. Fuji in English, but by the time it started (runs every 30min after a movie in Chinese), we had to go back to our bus. So overall, I would not recommend. I think next time we'd better just do it ourselves on a nice day we can pick and choose how much time we stay in one location.
