Full Day Mt Fuji Lake Kawaguchiko Tour and shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlet
From $82.13 (Price varies by group size )
Wonderful trip and experience
, Dec 2019
We had a semi private tour booked, ended up we were the only family on the trip, so it was entirely private trip, which was wonderful. The tour guide/driver was excellent, knew exactly where and what to show us. Very fortunate to see clear view of Mt Fuji, even the driver drove us to a nearby site to take a beautiful scenery of Mt Fuji with clear reflection on the lake, just like a postcard picture. Highly recommended for this trip.
The trip was amazing, our hostess was polite, fun and always engaging with us throughout the journey. She made the bus journeys to each area shorter by filling us in with little snippets of local knowledge.
Mount Fuji itself was cloud covered (as always and that can be helped) but Stage 5 is still a beautiful place.
If i ever return i will once again be using Viator for these kinds of tours
Visit Mount Fuji and its surrounding areas with this day tour from Tokyo. You'll start with Mount Fuji, continuing on to the stunning Lake Kawaguchikp before stopping for lunch. You'll then head on to Oshion Hakkai, with its eight natural springs before stopping to go shopping at the Gotemba Premium Outlets.
The attention to detail from the Japanese people was amazing, and the price was way, way, under I could imagine. The photographer took my wife to the temple and shoot for 2 hours, the kimonos are a delight, clean and luxuries.
I can't understand how can they make any money at this price, no surprises, I paid 4 times that to the taxi from the airport!!
Have an authentic Japanese experience by trying on a traditional Kimono. You won’t have to worry about wearing it the wrong way, as a Kimono fitting is included. There are plenty of different styles to choose from, so you’ll have the flexibility to choose your favorite design. See Tokyo highlights while dressed in a Kimono, and then have a photoshoot at Shibuya crossing. You won’t forget your day as you’ll get a souvenir photo at the end.

Private Tour - The Origin of Kawaii, Harajuku Pop Culture Tour
, Jan 2020
The Kawaii tour was so fun! Eric was my guide and he was perfect! He was knowledgeable, kind and easy to talk to. He modified the tour a bit to include even more stops that I would never have found on my own. I highly recommend this tour!
Explore the phenomenon of ‘kawaii’—or all things cute—on a private half-day tour of the Harajuku district in Tokyo. Your guide takes you to more than five locations where you can see cuteness in action, including a colorful cafe, clothing shops, an ‘Alice In Wonderland’-themed store, and places with street art displays. Great for photo ops and people who want to discover kawaii in Japanese pop culture.
Mt.Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi,Oshino Hakkai and Gotemba Premium Outlets
Nice Mt. Fuji Tour
, Dec 2019
We have a great time in this one-day Mt. Fuji tour. Its only unfortunate that for the second time we only reach base 1 due to the weather condition. Also, the onsen resort was nice but i'm expecting a really natural spring onsen experience.
This was a great tour. A long day but worth it. Due to weather on the day of the the tour we could not access the road up the mountain until the afternoon. The guide made up for the earlier missed opportunity. Our guide was excellent!! Very knowledgeable and encaging. I definitely recommend this tour.
Spend a day exploring Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area on this day trip from Tokyo that includes a visit to a stop at an outlet mall. Ascend the slopes of Mt. Fuji, reaching its 5th Station, for amazing views. Then descend to Lake Kawaguchi to admire the views at the foot of the mountain. Conclude your excursion with shopping time at Gotemba Premium Outlets. Your Mt. Fuji experience also includes a guide and GPS-based audio guidance for several additional languages.
Tokyo Tsukiji Outer Market Walking Tour and Rolled Sushi Class
Great Outer Market Tour & Cooking Lesson
, Jan 2020
We were a group of two families (four adults, two kids and two teens) traveling together in Tokyo. Everyone had a wonderful time on this half-day tour! It was enough to get a flavor of the local market/culture without losing the interest of the kids and teens (and husbands).
We met Lucy at Tsukiji Hongan-ji. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding when we booked the tour. We thought that since the two families separately booked the same tour at the same time that we would be on the same tour, which is not the case (have one person book everyone on the same purchase to ensure that you're with the same group or contact the tour operator immediately afterwards and ask if they can put your reservations together in the same group). Despite our mistake, Lucy and the other guide made same quick phone calls and were able to get all of us together with the same guide.
Lucy navigated us through the fish market with ease. She took us to some vendors of interest, but also let us stop at whichever vendors caught our eye. She was very patient with us. We never felt rushed, but she also kept things moving along. She did a great job of explaining to us the different foods/ingredients that we were seeing and also answering any questions about what we were seeing and being offered to try. None of us spoke Japanese. Lucy's English was great and she was very helpful translating for us.
Afterwards, Lucy took us on a short bus ride over to the cooking studio. Masayo was the primary instructor with Lucy's assisting. We learned how to make Tomago, nigiri sushi, a rolled sushi and miso. Masayo explained each step very clearly in English. Our kids had a great time learning how to make sushi and they all ate everything that they made. Our daughter came home and asked if we could purchase a "Tomago pan" so she could make Tomago at home.
Everyone in our group said they would recommend this tour to their friends.
First part was a tour over the outer fishmarket with our awesome guide yoko who showed and explained us everything.
We got a lot of information about traditional japanese food and could try everything (e.g. little dried crabs tasting like spicy crackers).
After the tour we visited a modern equipped cooking school to learn to prepare a typical japanese meal.
We had great fun and learned a lot with our enchanting chef Hiromi.
Our conclusion: all thumbs up!!
Take a fascinating 'deep dive' into Japanese seafood cuisine during this combination walking tour of Tsukiji Outer Fish Market and cooking class. Shop for the freshest ingredients amidst the labyrinth-style aisles of Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, showcasing everything from sushi-grade tuna to octopus tentacles. Then head to the largest gourmet cooking school in Asia as you learn to prepare traditional-style ‘washoku’ food items like sushi and a Japanese omelet. An English-speaking guide, transport, cooking ingredients and tools, and lunch with a beverage are all included.
My husband & I met our guide, Yoko, at the Harajuku Tourist Information Center. As it turned out, there were only two of us on the tour, so we had a private tour. Yoko walked us down Takeshita St., and we stopped at a few stores along the way, such as Daiso and a cotton candy store. We spent some time at a wonderful cafe called Reissue. The cafe specializes in "latte art," and we were able to give them pictures of our two cats for our lattes. They turned out great! The coffee was a little expensive (about 1100 JPY) and not included in the tour fee, but the extra cost was well worth it! Later on in the tour, we stopped at an owl cafe. The owl cafe was amazing, and also had some other birds, not just owls. We were able to gently pet most of the birds and also hold a few. It was really wild being that close up to such gorgeous birds, all of which were very friendly and so cute! Yoko took many amazing pictures of us during the tour and sent them to us very quickly thereafter. We deeply enjoyed her company and all of the interesting information she provided on the Harajuku area. This was a very fun tour, which we highly recommend - don't miss Harajuku during your visit to Tokyo!
We had a fabulous experience exploring Harajuku with Yumi!! Harajuku is such a funky, fun and unique area that only Tokyo can produce! Our guide Yumi was amazing - she is kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating also sweet with our two young children! She showed us a great time and many locations we would never had found alone. She had a few options and routes which we molded to our timeline and interests! We whole-heartily recommend this tour - Harajuku is one of a kind!!

Ronski and Hiroko are lovely and passionate artists running this boutique business, who provide a very authentic and personalised experience. The kimono choices are beautiful, made of high quality silk. Hiroko makes sure every element of the dressing is perfect, and you can choose your colour combinations. For the photo shoot we were offered a choice of locations, including shrine or local suburb with historic architecture. Ronski makes you feel at ease when photographing, and it's not too posy. The photos turned out awesome! We were a little awkward walking around dressed up initially, but the locals were very courteous and complimented the kimono outfits, so it's nothing to be shy about. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan.
