The QC Terme company, named for the founders Andrea and Saverio Quadrio Curzio, operates five wellness spas in Italy, including one in Turin – QC Termetorino.
Founded on the ancient Roman idea that thermal baths should be not only about wellness but also community and socialization, QC Termetorino uses the Latin phrase “salus per aquam,” or health through water, as its philosophy. That phrase is where we get the acronym “spa” used to describe facilities like these today.
The QC Termetorino day spa offers enclosed and outdoor pools, waterfalls, hydro massage therapy, saunas, and Turkish baths. Aperitivo at the spa is included in the entrance price, and you can also get light and healthy meals for breakfast and lunch in the cafe.
QC Termetorino is located right in the heart of Turin on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. The day spa is open daily from 10am-11pm. The day rate is €40 Monday through Friday, and €44 on weekends and public holidays. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed at the spa.
