My wife and I loved the tour and highly recommend this tour on your first day in the city to get acclimated with everything there is to see.

This tour is focused on the past and present beauty of Turin in terms of architecture and lifestyle for those who want to understand the charme of this (still) underrated city in only 2 hours, under the magic of the evening lights.
The tour and its schedule are customizable, if possible, in order to plan the itinerary according to your needs. We can focus on:
- ARCHITECTURE: we can visit the Baroque and Fascist district (which is more monumental, rich and elegant) or the Medieval and Roman district (with their pictoresque cobblestone streets and typical taverns too)
- LIFESTYLE: the market (from Monday to Saturday until 2pm) and its hidden gems, the most beloved church and where real Turin's people live.
You'll see Turin in the evening if you choose the schedule 6:30-8:30pm, but it's also possible to do it around noon (11:30-1:30): simply WRITE me BEFORE booking in order to set together the best time.
I recommend this tour those want to understand the city with a local who knows many fascinating stories and unique places that you could not otherwise find.
My style is ironical, informal, friendly and interactive: forget about the guides with the umbrella, their list of dates and big groups! Consider me like your LOCAL FRIEND, more than a guide!
✓✓✓ Please WRITE to me BEFORE booking (in the section Questions & Answers or to 00 39 33 94 60 48 85) since the tour can be in 4 different languages and another day or hour can fit you better. I will answer as soon as I can!
Turin Egyptian Museum Entry Ticket Including Special Exhibits
Great museum, terrible booking experience
, Aug 2019
Firstly, Viator claims to offer the best price. Wrong. When we arrived at the museum we discovered that if we had booked directly with the museum - or even just turned up at the door - we would have saved 6 Euros per ticket.
Secondly, the booking stated "including special exhibits": these are not exhibits that are charged extra for. Any visitor to the museum paying the standard fee gets to see them.
Finally, the booking process gave us a start time of 16:30, stating the visit would take about three hours. As we discovered, the museum actually closed at 18:30, so we were ushered out by the apologetic staff before we had a chance to see everything.
Moral of this story: book direct with the museum, not with Viator. I certainly won't be giving them my custom ever again.

I recommend this PRIVATE tour for those want to practice their Italian with a very experienced tutor and want to visit Turin too.
It will be also possible to do some exercises together and work on your mistakes, therefore our 1.5 hours will be very effective: it's you to decide how to set it, how much walking, if having a more classic lesson at my place (I live in a building built in 1888 right in the center), etc.
Moreover, we can discuss about Italian/Turinese culture, life style, moving to Italy.
My style's informal, friendly; I'm very patient and like to put some humour in our chats. Consider me like your LOCAL FRIEND, more than a tutor!
Please write to me BEFORE booking (in Q&A) since, depending on our availability, we'll set the best hour for both:
